While they had larger boxes, they explained I would've been charged more for shipping. I slipped and fell on the glare ice that was on the back doorstep of Postal Connections and sustained a severe sprained and potentially fractured ankle (the x-rays were indeterminate because of swelling and must be retaken in two weeks). I was on the ground for a good five minutes and no one made any effort to help me. When I came in the store, no one asked how I was. When I complained about the ice, the owner was more concerned about his liability than my well-being. He passed off any responsibility and gave me the number of the property manager. I called and she never returned the call. The total lack of care and responsibility toward me was extremely disappointing. I have been shown more sympathy and caring from total strangers. I have been a regular customer in the past but no more. I will give my business to others who actually care for their customers. read more

Our family had leftover(late 1800's steamer trunk)from the matriarch estate that needed to be transferred to adult grandson in Spokane. After an extended phone discussion to discover what the possibilities for the transfer to occur and an in store visit to confirm the plan, I brought this 100lbs trunk to the store. The concept of this place is awesome. Give them whatever you need to send, they will package it and tell you exactly how much it costs to send it via FedEx, UPS, or USPS... and you get to pick which option to go with. That's a pretty cool deal for people that are busy with limited amount of time to pack and send packages. There's really no reason to go anywhere else for your shipping needs. They have better hours than the post office, which is nice and convenient. They also have a great selection of greeting cards and other things you may need to send along with your package. The staff is very knowledgeable, but a little bit unpleasant and grumpy depending on who you are working with. I have felt like I was a burden to them with my very simple shipping request, but have otherwise had decent experiences at this store. read more

I love the convenience of Postal Connections. It's right in downtown Verona and they are able to take care of all of your postal needs! However, I recently went in to have a couple color copies made. There was no sign for the cost or color copies but the black and white copies were very cheap so I thought color was maybe double-triple the cost. I went a head and made 10 color copies with the clerk's assistance and then was rung up for around $6.00. It's partially my fault because I should have asked. I will continue to use this place for sending packages but not color copies. I feel like they should have had a sign or the clerk should have made sure I was aware since there was no sign and the machine was brand new. read more

I had a situation where I hired a law firm in Oregon Wisconsin to close a sale for me. The closing took longer than anticipated and so we missed the regular FedEx pickup. I needed to get the closing papers to the Postal Connections location in Verona Wi. by 5:00 PM so we wouldn't miss the last FedEx pickup of the day. Dan ( the owner ) really jumped in to help in a big way. He knew I was up against a deadline and it was already 4:30. He offered to send his daughter to the Law office where the FedEx was waiting to be sent, and have her personally drive it to his shipping center in order to beat the deadline. Outstanding customer service by a business owner who really understands what he's doing. I wish I could give them TEN stars! read more

Dan and Laura have no issue with sticking around for a bit after closing to make sure I can get the package waiting for me when I am late getting out of work. Sending packages/parcels is a snap as well - just leave it with them and pay, and they do the rest for you. I am always greeted by name and I always have a smile when leaving. read more

I have a mail box at this location, and they blow any UPS store out of the water. Very helpful and willing to go that extra mile in the name of customer service. They also handle UPS AND FedEx which is convenient as well. Pricing for a mail box is HALF of what the UPS store charges, and the service is 10X's better. read more

I try to support local, small businesses whenever possible as we are small business owners in Verona also. I have been in the store 3 times and 2 out of 3 times I've encountered a woman (owner?) that is so rude. She acts like you're bothering her by entering her store. Today I had a postage paid envelope to drop and wanted a receipt but wasn't sure if it was rude of me to ask when they weren't making a sale. She offered me a receipt but was inconvenienced and no comment to me when I left saying "thanks have a great day". I asked her if she'd rather I drop postage paid items at the post office (which would seem reasonable if she's not making any money from the transaction) to which she replied "no". Happens once - we all have an off day. Happens twice - I tried to support your business but this was the last time. Note: the 1 out of 3 positive experience I had was not a encounter with the female employee but a male. read more
