THIS is real customer service! Knowing that I was going to ship expensive gear from my late friend's estate to my work place, by a specific date to avoid getting lost over the Memorial Day weekend, I called this business ahead of my trip to Baraboo to get all the details I could about what services they could provide. The man on the phone explained that they could do all the packaging and get my shipment to California on Friday if I could bring the lot to them before 4pm Monday. I showed up with a 91lb flight case, a heavy speaker cabinet, two expensive guitars, a bare amplifier chassis, a heavy-duty steel amp stand and a glass sculpture that I put into a gallon paint can full of foam beads. Ben Robertson was alone that day, but he broke down the costs, gave me a reasonable estimate and a promise that the whole pile would ship before the end of business that day. He asked all the right questions, too, and improved the guitar packing inside the cases before boxing them. When he completed the packaging, by 1pm(!), he sent me the invoice via email and I paid by credit card over the phone. No hassles, no compromises, and no excuses!
