This past winter season (2021-2022) I was in need of a snow removal services. Like anyone in need…read moreof services now a days. What is the first step you do? Go to Google and Yelp.com. I had contacted at least 5 local snow removal services during fall clean up season. Branden's Landscape & Property Maintenance LLC was very prompt with communication. At first I was looking at doing a half season. Branden was very professional and explained to me on the why's that was not an option this year. I respect anyone that can give you a straight answer that makes perfect logic with the type of economy we have now. A season's worth of snow removal was very affordable. His contract is very straight forward and clear on each bullet point. After meeting in person I was very impressed by the manner all my questions and concerns were handled. Branden stated on any given snow storm on how he and his team would approach the clean up. I never had to call or text and ask where are you? The job was always done very thorough, clean, and promptly. I highly recommend calling/emailing (1-414-520-2568/Brandenslandscapellc@gmail.com)

My son went to this day care for just over 3 months. In those 3 months I ran into multiple issues…read more At first i thought it was just a transitional thing and once we all got into a routine everything would settle down. Almost every day when I picked up my son he had a dirty face, clothes, or had needed a complete outfit change. He was 3 months old at the time so there is no real reason he should ever have been dirty aside from an occasional blow out diaper. After a week or two things got a little better but there were still many days where a simple wipe across his face or nose was desperately needed. After about a month a new girl started in the infant room. On the first day i picked him up she was holding him in a rocker. She attempted to get up from the rocker while holding him and was extremely unsure of herself and made me uncomfortable. There were 3 ways to cross the room to get to me. 2 of those ways were unobstructed, the third required her to walk through a minefield of toys and other babies sitting on the floor. She chose the minefield and wound up stepping on the side of the leg of one of the babies. She acted confused as to why the baby was then crying. Every time I saw this particular girl she always seemed uneasy and very nervous. I assumed since she was new that it may take a few days to adjust and she was not in the room everyday. A few weeks went by and I came to pick up my son and this time she was feeding him in the rocker. She stood up and was having a difficult time balancing my son and the bottle. Then she had my son sitting on the edge of her arm with his legs dangling over her arm and his back against her shoulder while she used the other arm to remove his bib. There was absolutely nothing holding my son in her arm other than a hope and a prayer. She jostled him enough that my heart dropped and i was sure she was going to drop him. She did not, however I was no long comfortable having my son in her care. I spoke to the regular ladies in the morning and was advised to contact the administrator. I sent her an email regarding the situation. She did reply back and thanked me for letting her know and that this person would be removed from the infant room. I did not see her again. I did still continue to have issues with my son being dirty. One day I picked him up and the entire back of his head was crunchy from having spit up, laid in it, and not being cleaned up. When I picked him up one of the providers was literally holding him so there is no way it went unnoticed. On multiple occasions I also overheard the providers gossiping and bad mouthing parents when i was getting my son in and out of the car seat in the hallway outside of the room. The final straw for me was when i showed up an hour early to pick up my now 5 month old son unannounced. He had a cold with a bit of a runny nose and a cough. I walked in to find him in a bouncy chair with a bottle propped on a blanket. There were 3 providers in the room at the time, no other babies were eating, and only one of the three was even holding a child. Bottle propping is extremely dangerous on it's own and when you prop a bottle for a baby with an already compromised airway due to a cold it can be deadly! This was a Friday and I immediately left a message for the administrator who apparently was out of the office. I kept my son home on Monday because he was not returning until i had spoken to the administrator directly. The administrator told me this was not protocol and that she would be speaking with them and would ensure further training was done. By that point I no longer felt safe with my son in their care and had decided to remove him from the center. I asked for recommendations from local moms via a Facebook group and received several messages from other moms with their own personal horror stories from living word. Since removing my son more than 2 weeks ago I have heard from more moms who have run into other safety issues and are now removing their children from there as well. I would strongly recommend avoiding this day care center. It is extremely disappointing to pay that much money to have these people neglect and put your child's safety and well being at risk.
