We had a few drinks and my buddy got to talking about the place he purchased that council, and records and we decided to head down and check it out. The owner, Steve, treated us like kings, he told great stories and helped my pick out a counsel I could ship home, and them he kicked in several free records. I couldn't believe the knowledge and hospitality. Not only will I be back, but I highly recommend you stop in if you are in Maddison. The place is unique and definitely "Groovy"!!

Sadly, there's very little left to be desired. One fellow working there said there were no classic Doctor Who shows on blu-ray when there were at least ten or eleven sets available in this format in region 1. The guy obviously wasn't every knowledgeable. A bit rude on top of it. Worse, they willingly sold me a blu-ray that was a region 2 from the UK. I didn't know this until I put the disc into the machine to find it's not playable. Thanks, guys, for the worthless experience. Should rename themselves the Mega A-Hole Xchange.

Comfortable lay out for a smallish store, very good selection without this fat guy feeling cramped. I'm in for the CDs, but nice vinyl options. Jazz and rock, wide range, some of everything else. Good prices, when you figure in shipping it's better than online. Plus, there's contact with human beings. Two knowledgeable sales people working when I dropped in, walking distance from the Madison Concourse or the Capitol.

The selection is strongest from the 60's and 70's and bins are all well organized. The condition of the records is generally good and prices are competitive. They will put on anything you are considering buying. There is some other merch including tshirts and record players.Two tips: 1. You can't find the entrance from the street address, go around to the parking lot side to see their sign; and 2. Pet their friendly dog.
