Quick and easy return! It was within walking distance from my office building in the Mid-Wilshire area. I actually thought it was closer but it was farther than the Ralph's grocery store. No problem, I needed the steps anyway. When I walked in there was a crowd of people but the one lady noticed me and said someone will assist me. There was already a customer being helped. So I walked over to the other register and a young man came over to help me with my three returns. Follow the company directions and have the QR codes ready for the attendant to scan. The Amazon return didn't need a package as it was still sealed in it's thin box. It was a Potter costume that was overpriced which I found a better deal. The returns back to Temu were somewhat similar. Make sure you save the bags they were packaged in when received. That saved me lots of time. The guy took his tape gun and sealed them shut. He scanned the QR codes and printed the shipping labels for each package going back. He asked me if I wanted a receipt... Heck yes I wanted a receipt for proof of return at the authorized shipper location. Now, the items just need to make it to their destinations for me to receive my money back. So my tips to help get through this quickly is to go when the UPS store opens for business and before the lunch rush. I got there around 11:30 in the morning on Friday. Also make sure that the return is processed before the allowed time frame expires. While this UPS store is conveniently located on Wilshire, they are never ever open on time. I'm always waiting out in front of the store. In fact, I'm outside the store waiting again as I write this review. They either need to change their hours to reflect when they actually have people come in or have their employees come in on time. I've seen people leave on multiple occasions. The people who work here are great and very friendly, but I wish they showed up on time. Don't come here in the mornings if you're in a rush because chances are, they won't be open. (They were supposed to open 15 mins ago, nobody is here) Also - I've been here for a live scan because it was listed on the DOJ website. There are some parallel parking spots on the front but best to pull around back where the parking lot is located. Clean and neat inside and out. Previously, this store was very unfriendly and unreliable that even it constantly brought up in our conversations in our neighborhood. Now, with the new management, they are always so organized, friendly, and professional with everything above and beyond. (Oh and first thing I noticed was how clean the store is now! I didn't realize how dirty it was before until the new management took over. No piled trash on the wait areas, no more claustrophobic feeling by stacked from floor to ceiling boxes taking half of the store like before!) After I saw the new management sign, I have been there at least 7 or 8, and each time I left with high satisfaction. Warning, there is no parking at this location. I got a $300+ ticket for parking in front taking out massive package out of car (and didn't even go inside the store before I got the ticket!). It seems like the parking enforcement guy regularly roams the location, ready to hand out tickets. Huh, then I realized new people were running the store. The man and the woman couldn't be more likeable. Even when the line got long, they took their time with each customer. I asked the guy if the (co-worker) lady was his sister (because they looked alike); he replied no, that's my wife. I felt ecstatic for them. They are thief, rude, unhelpful, unfriendly and worse their mangers are not any better. But thats not it. They are also thieves. Imagine you pay $40 to UPS online and get a barcode call the store in beverly and they said " no charge to print UPS label" but i end up in wilshire, and email them so they print the label. Surprise! This specific store charge for printing their own label. FedEx don't do it, other UPS store don't do it post office don't charges for label, because it have no logic. I already pay $40 to ship why do i have to pay to print the label? Do i also have to pay for Truck gas money? Thats not it, they even abuse the state tax law of 10% on merchandise and add tax for service. First instead of every where 10-60 cents for printing per page, they charge $1 per page and they charge tax on printing. This is a service not an item. Tax fraud! Two mangers were there very rude very hostile claims UPS is a franchisee and we can do whatever. I said no this is not a franchise because those guys do FedEx mailbox everything, you are exclusive UPS and violating company policy. They didn't care, i called corporate office and they said their regional manager will look into that. Indeed they are in violation. read more

I've seen a few different owners and employees over the years. Sometimes the business would be closed when it should've been open without explanation, they never answered the phone, and it took them forever to sort the mail. Things are different now. This store never ceases to let the customer down. We have SPECTRUM equipment that needed to be returned. The SPECTRUM at Beverly Connection told us to return the equipment through The UPS Store. This store is the closest location to our home. I wanted to confirm that they would take the equipment before driving to the store with it. I called.They never answered the phone. They never clear their voicemail so a message cannot be left. I sent an email. They do not answer email. We arrived at the UPS Sore at 11AM Thursday 12-2-21. The door was locked. No one was in the store. No sign indicating why the store was closed. There was a notice from UPS stating a UPS Driver had attempted pick-up/delivery stuck to the door. The website noted they should have been open. The times we have actually been able to use the store the staff is rude. We went to The UPS Store in Larchmont. 100% excellent service. Done in less than 5 minutes. Avoid this location. read more

Happily surprised to send some love to this UPS Store. I had a fairly heavy electronic thing to ship cross-country, so I investigated this corner of UPS and FedEx. Normally a ship-it-myself type guy, but I wanted to be check out the options. Walked into UPS, no wait. Clerk comes to help me, gives me my options and I'm thinking. Hmm. Is this the way to go? So, I went across the street to their competitor, and well, that's not a pretty story. So, I returned to UPS where the clerk had saved my info (like he promised he would). Paid for it all, and boom, I'm done. Years ago, I came to this location and wasn't impressed. This time, I was impressed. The store is organized and set up for either they to do the whole thing, or where you can buy the supplies, and DIY. And, I might add, that the $$ it cost was less than the USPS calculator indicated on eBay. (Of course, USPS is also just down the street). So, for my money (and time, too), this UPS Store is King of the Boulevard. read more

I have had now multiple times that the store was closed before 7:30pm. This is very frustrating as a customer. Please either update your hours of operation to reflect the hours you will actually be open, or please stay open for the duration of your posted hours. Photo with time stamp for reference. Additionally I've had several times where they did not check my ID and/or did not scan out a package. If you need something big shipped, this is the place! Don't go to UPS itself. I wasted a ton of time trying to figure out how to pack and ship an expensive office chair to Chicago. I talked to lots of shippers, both consumer and commercial. It was too big for consumer, and most commercials won't handle one-offs. The few shippers that would told me I'd need to bring it in in order for them to give me a price. Since we're talking hundreds of dollars, there could be huge differences from one to the next, and the chair is too big to easily drive all over the place to compare estimates. I wish I had called this UPS Store first. When I finally called them, I spoke to the owner Nigel. I gave him the dimensions and estimated weight and he gave me a quote, including the cost of creating a box that would fit. The price was at the low end of the range I'd been able to determine. I took the chair in and almost before I knew it, Nigel had it very securely packed up and ready to go, basically zip, zip, zip. And in one of those small gestures that can be so big in customer service, I was paying cash and was about $1.50 short without breaking a $50 bill, so he adjusted the price. Zero stars. I had an emergency that required a document be notarized and sent overnight. I called the Miracle Mile UPS Store and asked if notary service was available and what time document cutoff was for east coast next day. The notary service ended at 5:00 pm, so I raced to the store and made it with document in hand at 4:30. When I entered the store, the young woman working there asked me what I needed. I requested the notary service, to which she responded that the service was done for the day as "she's taking a late lunch." I said, "But I just called here and confirmed that a notary was available." The young woman responded that she had no idea about any phone call but that service goes until 5 pm. I said, "Right, and it's 4:30." She again repeated, "But she's taking a late lunch." Indeed, the smell of onions was coming from behind the counter divider, so I guess the notary was sitting there, eating. The counter staffer looked at her to make eye contact and confirmed again that she wouldn't be stepping away from her "lunch." "Okay, so to whom did I just speak when I called here?" "I don't know," the counter staffer replied, as I reached to my phone and pressed redial. It was an awkward moment when the phone started ringing in there. I made my way to another UPS Store, this one on Beverly Blvd., where despite it being the very end of the day and cutoff time, the three young men working there -- all of whom are notaries -- provided me with the witnessed document, the overnight delivery and a copy for my records. As these are independently-owned/operated stores, the owner of this location (a "Laika"?) might want to know that her store was empty while the one on Beverly had a line down the strip mall. I desperately needed a box with very specific/uncommon dimensions and I went to every store in the area (Staples, FedEx, etc) but no one was able to help me. I got to UPS 10 minutes before closing, and Leoni and Nigel both stayed late to manually assemble a box for me by taping together multiple boxes.
