On Saturday morning, July 26, I experienced one of the most humiliating and upsetting encounters I've ever had while attempting to pick up a work-related package for myself and my coworker. What should have been a simple errand turned into an emotionally exhausting ordeal that left me shocked, disrespected, and targeted without cause. When I arrived, I provided the employee with all the information I had: my coworker's full name (not just her nickname), the tracking number, and even showed him the confirmation email. I made it clear this was for our job. Still, he refused to release the package. He fixated on minor discrepancies, such as me not mentioning her nickname "Joe," even though I clearly stated her full name. When I asked if I could call her to clarify, he allowed it--but when she identified herself over the phone, he still refused, citing a phone number from the shipping label that neither of us knew. At that point, it was clear: nothing I provided was going to be "enough" for him. This man was unnecessarily combative, unprofessional, and cruel. He seemed determined to block the transaction regardless of how much I tried to comply. I pleaded with him, explained this was for work, and even showed additional proof. He dismissed everything. His tone was harsh, his energy mean-spirited, and he even bragged about denying another customer their package as if withholding people's deliveries was something he enjoyed. As tensions rose, he began to insult me. He made inappropriate, racially charged remarks and called me "stereotypical." I was in disbelief. I was being targeted--not for what I did--but for daring to question him, for standing my ground, for not backing down like others who've dealt with him. I became visibly upset, even raised my voice--yes--but only because I was desperate to fulfill a responsibility for my job and was being treated with such blatant hostility. It escalated so badly that even my coworker, still on the phone, heard the horrible things he said to me and was just as stunned. Another customer tried to defend him, but I was clear: I gave this man all the right information except a nickname--and still, he acted like I was a problem. I wasn't. Eventually, after my coworker and I threatened that the company we work for will get their money back since he refused the give the package, he threw the package at me and told me to leave. Not handed--threw it!!! It was demeaning, completely uncalled for, and done in front of witnesses. I don't know if his behavior was racially motivated, rooted in prejudice, or simply power-driven, but I do know it was cruel and absolutely unnecessary. I left that store feeling violated and defeated. Later, I spoke to a family member who lives nearby, and she shared that she's also experienced his aggression and now refuses to use that location. The only difference is, I spoke up. I questioned him--and that's why I believe I was treated even worse. But going forward, I will be doing the same as her: redirecting all future deliveries elsewhere. I would rather travel farther than ever deal with that level of disrespect and mistreatment again. No one should be treated this way for trying to pick up a package--especially not in the name of work. read more

Be ware - you have to be lucky if you want to pick up your package here. I've made two attempts and both times they were not open despite their opening hours saying they would be. Forget picking up your packages here if you work Monday-Friday. They don't seem to be open on Saturdays?! I saw this in another review and was hoping this was a one time thing, but no. Extremely annoying and inconvenient read more

Top fellow, 100% reliable service -and has saved me HOURS of trips to return the junk on Amazon my wife and I are clearly addicted.

Service is still great as always. Wanted to add cutoff times for same day pickup. Avoid the long lines and poor service at their respective locations! So awesome. UPS 3PM FEDEX 4PM DHL 4PM USPS 5PM Also, they do int'l shipping (Korea) and it's cheaper and sometimes faster than sending USPS Int'l Priority. $15 for initial pound, $5 for every pound thereafter. 3-4 days on average. Ship4u Express & Mailbox - Ship4U Express 9/14/24 @ 10:45am - Shipping Centers Near Me - Los Angeles, California

This is a wonderful, super convenient, often quick, shipping alternative! But for me, customer service is everything, and at first I wasn't sure, but after several great visits Jacob has proven himself to be personable, knowledgeable, kind, and expedient. Thanks Jacob! read more

The best! I've shipped packages here several times and arrived today with an unpacked, bulky item. The owner pulled several boxes to find the best fit, eventually using one of his sample boxes even though he could have used a larger one that would have cost more. Packaging was careful and efficient. I used an online shipping calculator beforehand and sure enough, his price was exactly what I expected. Great and trustworthy service! read more

Great expedient service- took my returns quickly. No lines. Parking can be sparse but I walked.

Jacob is AWESOME!! He drove to drop off 2 large boxes at my daughter's place because I explained that she didn't have a car. UPS screwed up the re-delivery so those boxes sat at Ship4U for almost two weeks. Thank you Jacob for going the extra mile! read more

This place is a GREAT option if you're looking for secure international shipping! Jacob is the nicest guy you'll ever meet and I felt respected all throughout the process. He even went above and beyond in helping carry my package from the car into his shop. 5 stars!!!!! read more

I came here to ship a CD to Canada and a phone back to Boston. The CD was part of an ebay sale, and when I asked for a tracking number, the guy who runs the place told me it would be $35. Are you serious??? Ebay caps the total shipping cost for items such as these at only $3.00 so I was NOT willing to pay this. I had to send the item without a tracking number... The guy seems nice and everything, but it is no fun not knowing if your item will arrive or not. This also leaves my customer up in the air until the day the item arrives. He was also going to put my CD in a box, rather than in an envelope, which probably would have meant higher shipping costs. Note: I have talked to the owner since posting this, and he told me that there are options cheaper than $35 and that there was a misunderstanding. He was pricing me at an expedited rate (which I didn't need) and that probably inflated the price a bit. I was not told of these options so I skipped out on tracking entirely. Regardless, my previous review was based solely on the $35 option being my only option, but I am giving the owner the benefit of the doubt and bumping him up one star. read more

For some reason you cannot ship Usps packages from here? Despite it being on the sign, the mailman comes on foot so they won't pick it up. Just something to know. UPS and FedEx seems fine read more

I love Ship4u Express! Had to ship a few things to a secure location and Jacob was very kind and understanding! His mailbox prices are amazing as well! Definitely the only shipping service I'll be using in Los Angeles! read more

There are a lot of places that are cheaper and better service. Used this place for shipping and sending money they charge $10 for each transaction of moneygram. When im sending money they said that you can get it anytime in for years. After several months my dad tried to withdraw money but he couldnt because the money is locked for some reason. So i went back and ask whats happened, and they called somewhere and told me that youve had to get it within 90days if u wnat to cancel transaction u will get the moneyback but fee which is $10. So i complaint that u said before u can get anytime for years. But they didnt refund fees. There will be many other places that are cheaper and better read more

I had to ship my gf's birthday gift to Italy... Quick & Affordable Delivery.. I didn't have to wait in a long line like i usually do at a post office!!! read more

Worst service ever. Showed up to pick up my package and they "didn't have it" even though ups said they did. Drove home and got on the phone with UPS who then called the guy who works there (I think he's the owner), he finds my package. I had to drive back to pick it up. Really annoying and an inconvenience. I've opted to just have my packages go back to their facility. read more
