Last weekend, I shipped a package and for whatever reason the destination information wasn't uploaded into the UPS system so I can't verify the destination online. I called the store this morning to inquire why I couldn't see the destination address to which he responded "I didn't create the system" then he blew me off and said "I've told you enough - I have other customers" and terminated the call. Rude store owner. There is a bin at the front desk that says "need tape?" No price tags or anything on it. I assumed it was for just closing boxes for those in the store since it had one roll in there. I used it in front of the workers and placed it back. I mailed my package my package with no issues. The employee assisting me was actually the store owner. After 10 minutes, I get a phone call from the store owner asking if I used the tape. He then gets angry and says "there is signage, it's clearly marked." Which it isn't. I drove back to pay for my $6.00 role of tape and the store owner was no where to be found. Made me fill out a form listing all ship-to addresses despite my packages being clearly and appropriately addressed (I've never had to do this before so really confused and no explanation was given as to why this was even necessary). To be honest I wish I could give this location zero stars and I recommend anyone who lives in proximity to spend the extra gas and go to a different location! I was very frustrated and irritated during my interaction with what was either the manager, owner, or simply an employee named Mr.Lee. He had severe problem over the fact that I had a question about using two label, with the same shipping number, for two different boxes. We are in the process of returning our router and cable boxes to Verizon, and were concerned about fitting everything in the one box provided by the company. His associate Mike, who was wonderful by the way, quickly called Mr.Lee over to ask if using two separate boxes with two labels (same shipping number) was okay. He was very quick to jump on my case over the question/situation and was very forward, loud, and somewhat aggressive. All he had to say was "no, we can't do that", and I would have been happy to rearrange my items, which I eventually did. He tried to tell me (more like demand) that I go home and rebox/reorganize everything into one box. I was not about to drive all the way home to complete a task that takes maybe 5 mins max. He also had a snarky tone in his voice as he tried to tell me to move to the side when I refused to go home to reorganize my things. For the record I was one of two customers in the store, so it wasn't like I was taking up a lot of room or holding up the line. Also, one of the purposes of a UPS store is to PACK and ship things, and to answer inquires involving just that! So I'm not sure why this was such a big deal to him. As someone who works in retail I would never blatantly treat someone the same way over one question with a simply no answer. Typically I am someone who lets things go, but his attitude was completely unnecessary and uncalled for. My friends and family have also mentioned of having a problem with the same person and I don't plan on coming back to this location. read more

I was greeted by an Asian man with very rude behavior once I walked in the store. He asked me to step back once I inquired if they had a store email. He was about to help another customer so I stepped back and there was no line. Following my question, he grabbed his phone and started making phone calls to ensure I did not get service. I was in shock with this petty behavior. Every UPS store I go to is extremely efficient, but not this one. The man left the front of the store, went to the back and the customers were left unattended. When I finally got help from a different person, I learned that they do not offer printing services at this store. I have never been to a UPS store that doesn't offer printing by sending to the store email. What really threw me off was their the lack of customer service skills from who I found out is the owner. The Owner of the store says I need two labels or it has to be in one box even though Amazon said one code was good. So I asked him to put both packages in a single box and he wanted to charge be $15.00! Even though Amazon Prime is paying for the shipping! Not happening. Worse, this is the third time I have had issues with this store but the guy is local and I like to support local business. He is always rude too. Never again will I use this store. I am always treated like visiting royalty here. The owner, Steven Lee, knows me on sight and anticipates my needs. I know, it is just a UPS Store, but I feel like it is MY UPS Store. This is the first time I've even bothered to review something, but I felt people should prepare themselves for the attitude they will get slapped with when they try to use this location. The guy (that I assume is the manager) is an absolute asshole to everyone I watched walk in while I was waiting for him to print something for me. When it came to my project, he couldn't figure out how to print a simple 11x17 poster and repeated blamed me for the file size. I'm a graphic designer--I know my f*ucking file sizes... but I politely obliged, sent him multiple versions double checked the file size, etc... even though I could tell he just had the printer setting stuck on "8.5x11" -- he printed it 4 times the exact same way (incorrectly) blaming ME every time... when I told him not to worry about it anymore, he wanted me to pay for all the posters he botched! When he went back to print the last time I think he must have realized his mistake because he came back out and basically shoo'd me out of the store WHILE LECTURING ME ABOUT HOW I WASTED HIS TIME!! It was seriously unbelievable, I wish I could have filmed the whole thing. I've worked in customer service/retail half my life, I've never seen such lacking desire to help customers. Why even do this work if you clearly hate helping people?!? Can't wait til someone else takes over this location. I already dread having to go in there tomorrow, just to drop a package. ‍ I wish this was something that could be escalated up the line with corporate customer service, but I'm pretty sure the stores might be franchises. I used the leesburg location to ship a motorcycle part. A small throttle cable. They lost it in delivery. I know that's not the local stores fault. However this store was not and still is not being helpfull in locating the lost package or giving me a refund on the value of the part and for shipping. The owner and his staff go above and beyond for customer service unlike many other retail businesses establishments I have encountered. They charge you for every dam thing and really aren't interested in helping you. My printer isn't working and they charge you to print a mailing slip. They put a hold for $9 on your credit card while you use their computer, l wasn't even on there for a minute and they charged me $2 even though l wasn't able to print my return label. When l explained what happened, they weren't interested. Go somewhere else. I'll dispute the $2 that got me nothing. I will be understanding if you return the $2 and train your staff in customer service. read more
