Went in to ship out an item. Asked for smallest box. I have my own tape / supplies. The employee who was nice said they can't sell the box but can charge me 17.00 to buy the box and package it for me. Wtf. Talk about rip off Several other times I've bought the box, I packaged my items and shipped out. Other times they want to charge you to tape up items. Bottom line, it appears that this location has different rules per whatever day of the week it is. Luckily there's another one - different franchise owner that is much much better. No bs hassle. I came to this one because it's close to home. It's only reason I even came to this one. Now I'm skipping the headache and going to the better place. Charging 17.00 to box my stuff up when I was told to buy supplies so I wouldn't get charged is ridiculous. read more

Shipped a birthday gift for my son. Store was not upfront telling me that the package was shipped thru USPS. On top of that, I lost my package. All they could tell was that package was picked up by USPS which was not the fact, tried to reach the UPS owner but got the same response. I am never going to this store again. I often have a lot of items that need to be scanned and correlated in the Amazon app. Every time I've been here, the employees have been nice, patient, and helpful. I can understand with a line out the door, it'd be easy to want to rush someone, but they've always been so great. I can't speak to pricing here, as I've not purchased any of their other services- but even with cheaper prices I'd likely not go anywhere else based on the awesome customer service here. read more

I've been using this location for years and have always had an amazing experience. They do there best to find the most cost effective solution for shipping. Shipping cost have gone up over the past couple of years but they are always better priced than the Broadlands post office (worst run post office in America). I frequently use this UPS store to drop off prepaid packages. They are great about quickly printing a confirmation receipt upon drop off. For those mad about having to pay for tape, all UPS stores I have been to have charged extra for this. When you have them tape it is slows down the service for the rest of the customers. read more

Way overpriced!!! We had a piece of medical equipment to ship back. We had a shipping box and a pre-paid label with us. They insisted we needed a different box and needed shipping peanuts or other useless things. By the time we were done shipping the item that rang us 17 bucks and change! Did I mention we had a prepaid label? On another occasion we were in a pinch because our fax machine broke at home and we had to fax few pages of a document to another business in Virginia. $1 per page to fax!! Unreal! read more

Most of my past experiences at other similar stores would have gotten about 2 stars. I had to write a review for this place because it was such a pleasant surprise and a refreshing change. The service here was prompt, warm & friendly, and efficient. I didn't have to fill out any long-form with my address, the recipient's address, etc. I just told the guy at the counter where I wanted it to go, he typed it all in quickly, printed it, had me verify what he printed was correct, swiped my credit card, and I was outta there. Worst UPS Store I have seen. Staff are very rude and sarcastic. Especially I was dealt by an employee named Suliman. I went there to drop a package which needs to be taped. He gave me an option of buying a tape or taping the box for service fees.I never encountered this before. I had to pay the fees for the service. The employee was very sarcastic and rude. This is a great UPS Store. I started with just a mailbox a few years back, but recently I have been able to outsource a lot of functions to these guys. They are always very polite and professional. I ordered printouts with specific size, though they gave me on promised time but wrong size was printed. Since the cost was not huge and thought not to make fuss about wrong size. I came back after 2 days with more ordered prints. I was confirmed time for pick up same day in evening. As i work as project manager and do some events for work, the printouts were important. I went back in afternoon and made sure with girl who was assigned my printouts that I will get the printouts and she promised that I can pick them at 5 pm. At 4:55 I received an email from the store that PRINTS CAN'T BE DONE. I was shocked. Since, they were important, I called other locations to get work done but nobody accepted my order, since it was closing time. Thanks to such professionals who caused me huge loss. On comparing, I have also experienced there shipping prices are too overpriced !! This place surly needs better management and business ethics !!! read more

Been meaning to write a review for a while. This ups store is GREAT. I've had the print posters and flyers for me, and they were prompt and very professional and friendly. But to be honest, my most frequent interaction with them is me dropping off a return package (already boxed and with postage). They make no money from this. I also drop off USPS packages, which they accept (again, obviously no profit to them). However, even though most of my drop-ins are no-profit drop-offs, they are always super NICE. Very friendly. In this day and age, that goes a long way in my book! Anyway - very good people, great location, and they definitely deserve this shout out. read more

I never write bad reviews, but after three back to back bad experiences, something has to be said. Today, I stopped in after work with a prepaid package return. The Box needed tape. I was refused service bc they do not do "free materials" on prepaid labels. A few months ago, we tried to get docs notarized after 6 pm but they dont notarize after 6 (who knew) even though they are open until 7 pm. In that same time frame, I tried to mail a package to my parents. The teen worker could not find my account, and once found, could NOT figure out the difference between 2 addresses on the same street. 15 minutes later, i gave up, shipped to wrong address and texted the receiver to walk the package next door. I cant do it anymore. These guys are terrible, dont care, unpleasant and I will find another UPS location. read more

I never have any problems in here , always greeted by the staff. I recently had to drop off my Cable equipment because I was moving and the gentlemen took the equipment, set up the return, and gave me a receipt for my shipment. Needed printing services, called before I went in to confirm they could do printing, was given options and prices and decided to go out to do the printing. Upon arrival, the three staff in the shop welcomed me and were VERY helpful, Was helped by Owner Ron and Will just before 4.00pm today. THANKS guys EXCELLENT service!! Stopped at the store on the way home from work to send a package and get a form notarized. Employee said he was a notary but during holiday season, he could not notarize any forms after 5:00 PM. Was there at 5:45 PM and no one was in the store. Not like he was busy but he still refused to notarize my form. Poor customer service. Went to a nearby competitor and they were happy to help me. Very helpful employees. This location really stands out compared to other ups/shipping stores. I've used them for a variety of things including shipping, creating poster size prints, etc. Top notch. They were able to make an awesome poster from a poor quality print I brought in. They did such a great job making it look better. These people go out of their way to be helpful! Pulled up to the curb at 7:50 AM and dropped off three big packages on the sidewalk in front of the store. Employee (Fred) was working in store but it wasn't scheduled to open until 8AM. As I moved my truck to the parking lot, Fred opened the store 6 minutes early, carried my packages into the store and started weighting and processing them. Couldn't believe how helpful Fred and, later, the owner were. They will get all of my business in the future. Use this UPS store if you enjoy good, reliable people! read more

Do not use this store. They lost my package. The employee was helpful and offered to affix my shipping label so I left without a receipt or confirming he did as he claimed. UPS never scanned the package so now my package is lost and this store is either dumb or thieves. There are enough of these stores so choose the next closest one instead of this one. read more
