I don't know how to delete my negative review on 09/28/24, but I want to retract my 1-star rating. On the third try to meet with the owner, I discovered it was NOT the owner who had made the mistakes, but a part-time employee. The owner was very kind and wanted to reimburse me the entire amount of postage I was charged. I declined and only requested the overage. This gentleman had lost his father a few days before yet he was friendly, sincerely apologetic, and sweet. My opinion of this store has changed and I would use their services again. read more

Owner charges add on fees that are not posted and are not common commercial practice for dropping off prepaid packages. The owner saw me carrying two boxes from the parking lot, and then I waited in line for several minutes as he helped other customers. This place has been here for quite a long time. I often used it to mail packages even though the post office is located in the same center. It's convenient and the staff is warm and welcoming They have a section to drop off items for the post office which is handy since the post office limited hours of operations. I recently visited to drop off two boxes since the post office was closed. Much to my surprise, the attendant told me I would be charged $10 per box! I asked if she was going to deliver them and she said the post office would be picking them up. I questioned why they would charge for something in which they did nothing. The attendant exclaimed they were a small business as an excuse for the change in policy. Don't they understand that it's the little conveniences that bring loyalty and repeat business? They made some nice changes and the place is clean and organized, however you have lost me as a customer. read more

I walked in to make a Fed Ex drop off as they advertise as an authorized dealer from Fed Ex. The lady at the counter was so rude, and so awful that I walked right out. First of all, all drop offs for Fed Ex are left on metal shelves close the front door. No sense of security that someone could come in and steal them right off the shelf. When asked for a receipt that I dropped off the packages .... The counter lady wouldn't look up but under her breath said no receipts would be given and pointed to a sign that was written "no receipts given". DO NOT come here if you need proof that you are returning something or sending something elsewhere. She kept telling me if I wanted a receipt of my shipment - to go elsewhere! I guess I will, and never come back to Postal Masters. Rude service, place was a mess and very unreliable for sending packages. GO to the nearest UPS Store in Broadlands Southern Walk or the USPS in Broadlands Center Plaza. Don't waste your money on these people! read more

Love the community feel to this small posting center. It's super convenient because they're open later than the usual post office that's in the same shopping center. It seems like I can never make it to USPS during their regular biz hours so I'll just drive down the strip, jump out and drop off my package here. The people that work here are always friendly. I needed tape once and the owner happily gave me some for free! They offer scanning, faxing, laminating, passport photos, notary services, key duplications, and offer tons of packing supplies. I had a lot of odd shaped packages since I was getting rid of my teaching supplies. Insanely rude and nosey.. Clueless when entering information on the computer. I had to correct multiple times where they were typing the city into the wrong address line. Far from what I would consider a postal 'master' And the lady tried to sell me a roll of tape "this will be very useful for you!" Way too expensive! Owner was helpful, but he stated he only has the ability to ship using USPS Priority Mail. Just be aware using this service. I walked about 100 feet to the actual post office and saved $20+! read more

Stop by today for the first time. I wanted to mail a package on my way home from work but didn't want to go to my local post office as it out if the way. Omar was very helpful and super friendly. I noticed that there were lots of other services offered at this location, including notary, which can be hard to find. I have had no issues using Postal Masters the service they offer is fast, friendly, and varied. My first time using them was when I went to the Broadlands PO and found them closed their hours being more restrictive. I popped into Postal Masters (under semi recent new ownership) a few doors down where the owner, Omar handled sending out my package quickly and efficiently way faster service then the post office would have been. My package shipping fee ended up being cheaper using FED EX ground then Priority mail an added bonus using Postal Masters to have an option. I have now also dropped off return packages a few times way easier and faster taking them to one place for all shipping needs. read more

I asked the owner for the cheapest way to ship a package and he charged my credit card $68 and then proceded to lie about not being able to give a refund and deflect questions. I called FedEx and they said he should definitely be able to give a refund but if he won't to just take the package back. I then went to a local UPS store,asked the same question, and got it shipped for $15. Very rude and no reason to give this place service when there are plenty of better and cheaper options. read more

So for that dollar I am writing the screw your dollar cash because your a crook! It's free to send a FedEx that has a pre paid shipping label. Screw the post office and it will be fraud. If I could give negative stars, I would! I had a small package that needed to be returned to a vendor. The vendor had FedEx send me an email with a link for a return label; the email also that stated the FedEx location could scan the barcode in the email and print the label there. When I got to Postal Masters, they didn't have any FedEx envelopes (but they'd be happy to sell me a generic one!) and didn't have the capability to scan the code (despite being an authorized FedEx agent), but he did offer to print it if I'd email it to him. I did so, and went to leave, and he told me it would be $2.00 for printing. I was shocked; I told him to forget it, and he kept saying "you have to pay"...I told him that wan't the way the FedEx agreement worked. He tore up the label, and I took my package and left! I realize Mr. Kim operates a private business and needs to make money, but the benefit of agreeing to handle FedEx drop offs is to increase foot traffic to his store to allow for collateral business and other opportunities because of the convenience, not to "nickel and dime" Fedex customers. As is, the poor service and attempt to charge $2.00 to print a label has created nothing but ill will! read more

I love this place. The gentleman that works here is extremely helpful and friendly. His shop is never crowded and he provides a fast service. I have dropped off UPS packages here successfully and quickly. I have also send out items via USPS here. He is very helpful when you bring an item you want shipped and you need to purchase envelopes to ship the item in. He will weigh your item and calculate postage for you, which is great because I hate having to figure out postage. His prices are very fair for envelopes. I accidentally went in here because my GPS said I had arrived at the post office (located in the same strip mall.) The gentleman who works here is friendly and very helpful. He can do a lot of post office services as well as UPS, FedEx - basically all shipping needs, and even passport photos. He helped me figure out my shipping issue and was even friendly when I called the next day to make sure I had the info right. I will be frequenting this business with my future shipments, especially considering the bad reviews I saw for the post office, and I'm willing to pay a small convenience fee to skip the PO. I dropped of a package for UPS just as owner was closing early on a Friday afternoon. He took the package from my hands at the door as he was locking the door. One week later, my package was yet to be delivered and not showing scanned or received by UPS. I went back to postal masters and he denied knowing how to look up the time that he had scanned it in store. I spoke to UPS customer service and they offered to send him a link to instruct him how to look up my package. Now wouldn't you expect an experienced store owner to already know how to check when he had scanned his packages since I had a tracking number? Numerous calls to him during the morning proved no solution. However , I finally received my notice from official UPS account that TWENTY minutes after I had left postal masters, my package (tracking number) showed dropped off at an Access point and picked up by UPS. A coincidence? I think not. I like to support small but absolutely will not be going back. read more
