If I could give a zero I would. Went into the store on 12-8-2021 at 12:25 to drop off a return to Amazon. My box was completely packaged except the top part needed to be taped. The guy then tells me did you read the drop off instructions and I was like what's different I drop Amazon off a lot. He then tells me he is educating me like I'm a student. He was not pleasant at all. As I was leaving the young lady at the counter then pipes in and said you should really read up on it. All because I needed to tape the box with 1 strip of tape. He could have easily said we have tape to purchase or I'll do it this time but just so you know these are the new guidelines. I have never encountered such rude person in front of other customers. I hope the owner Ravi Harit and manager Rikki De Leon will educate his staff on customer service. One of the ladies who works here has the WORST attitude. I don't know who hurt her for her to be this easily triggered but she would find a way to create an argument out of any little thing we asked about. If you're not able to do something, just say so, no need to be rude about it. She has no business being in a customer facing role. I'd recommend going elsewhere as the company won't answer the phone to verify operating hours, location and ability to provide service. The (morning shift) girl who works here is incompetent, and makes simple transactions overly complicated and exhausting. For what should have been a simple returned package, I was asked the same questions over again about 5 times, "are you sure there's no hazard waste" for my ID, and a detailed explanation of what was in the package. I dont understand why my UPS driver decided to mark my package as "Delivery Attempted" and didnt even leave a note on my door with the "Sorry we missed you" note on my front door? You want to know why? Because this driver didnt even show up to my location.. Didnt even attempt to even walk up the door, you know how I KNOW?! Cause I was outside the location in front the whole time.. The moment I got the message at 3:45 PM i was outside.. So I call a representative they couldnt help but give me "wait for the next delivery date" which was 2 days from now. So I decided to speak to a manager or supervisor instead.. They will little more helpful but ended up being no help at all at the end of the day after she has clearly told me that someone will contact me after 1 hour.. I specifically asked "Someone WILL call me in a hour right, and not forget?" They said "Yes" guess what nobody called me after 4 hours.. so i called back and now they tell me to expect a call on monday which is my package redelivery date.. 2 mistakes in 1 day from yall today very disappointed. and not even the first time either.. You can obviously tell how furious I am because a package that is requiring a signature is a headache sometimes because I worked my schedule around to be HERE at the location. I DID MY PART, UPS Driver didnt even attempt to do THEIRS! read more

The Lathrop UPS store is by far the best customer service I have experienced, Rikki the store Manager is very pleasant and polite he has helped me with my packages I have sent overseas to my brother who is in the Navy. I had return some equipment back to Xfinity and they recommended UPS, so considering this location is close by I went, I do agree with the previous posts that some lady there is very rude, as I began to return my item I asked her about the box being open on top and should get something to put it in, she then snapped that I really need to be prepared and she will let me get away with it this time. really!! I told her I do not usually return items and I was happy to get something else to put my box in, so that way I wouldn't be trying to get away with anything (give me a break) I'm glad I don't return items and won't visit this place anytime soon. Remember people, be prepared or the front desk sheriff lady may not let you get away with such a horrendous crime! read more

I hate this store with rude and slow workers. This store is close to my house but I will start going to Manteca instead. California is fully open now but they still will make people wait outside in the heat even though store have enough room for social distance. I rarely leave reviews but I had to for this store as I have never seen such bad behavior. Both employee and manager are extremely rude and their sole purpose is to harass anyone who walks through the door. The manager actually goaded over the fact that this is how it is going to be under his supervision. I have been at several UPS stores to do notary and if the person is notarizing someone else, he or she politely asks me, or if they are working with me, then ask the next person who came in to get notary service, to please give them a few minutes. And that is fine. Anyone would be able to see that they are working with another person, so wait for their turn. I went in here today and the Manager came out from the back (there was no other customer present in the store) - saying she (Notary) was busy and that I needed an appointment - I thought that another lady must be somewhere in the back area (thinking due to covid maybe there's a separate section they sit down to notarize) but realized after a few more seconds that the person who would notarize was right next to him, doing nothing. They kept arguing how busy she was and could not do it without an appointment. Both of them then just made the whole process so sour - acting as if I was there to have them notarize some forged document or something illegal, since I came in there without an appointment, acting as if their calendars were overflowing with notary bookings so badly, that she couldn't even lift her head, when there was not a single soul other than them and me there. Finally after a long lecture, they agreed to notarize but even before I could give the paperwork, Melissa, the notary, took my ID and then had me recite out my address while she was holding my ID checking to see if I said the address correctly. Hello "there's a picture of me on the ID and you are supposed to verify that." Anyways, each person has different method (and if they hadn't been so rude and full of attitude I would most probably not even thought anything about it, but I didn't say anything, just wanted to take care of my business and leave). Several more minutes of high attitude and making a derogating remark at every step. The few minutes it took to complete the process was a nightmare - every step she or he had to have their say with demeaning remarks. Then I had to pick up some packages which came to my business PO box there - needless to say that this was another harassing endeavor. The manager and the girl went on and on, how this UPS was different from others and how they were solely responsible to stop all types of vices happening in the world, but at their UPS store. The manager has an enormous ego and bad attitude and has trained the employees there similarly. As soon as this lease term ends, I am never renewing my PO box there, nor ever going back there to notarize (I have had PO boxes with other UPS stores for almost 20 years - never any problem before - in fact I had always looked forward to picking up the mail chatting with the owner or employees at those other stores for a couple of minutes, if they had no other customer present, about nothing in particular, but recently moved to this area so had moved the PO box to this location). I would rather drive a few more miles where am greeted with a welcoming attitude than be spoken down by people with enormous attitude and pompous ego - ruining the entire day. Hoping that all the new business complexes and retail areas opening in this city will get another friendly UPS store soon - until then I will just go to the next one. read more
