I had a very disappointing experience with this business. After an address was entered incorrectly, I was told the address they had on file was correct rather than the address I originally provided. When I spoke with the owner's son, he repeatedly emphasized that his family owns the business and insisted the mistake was not their fault, rather than taking accountability and working toward a resolution. What was most frustrating was the lack of customer service. Instead of offering solutions, I had to suggest them myself and even request my own refund. The interaction felt dismissive and rude, and there was little effort made to correct a problem that originated from their error. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles those mistakes matters. Unfortunately, due to the way this situation was handled and the unwillingness to take responsibility, I will not be doing business with them again and cannot recommend their services. read more

After a really upsetting experience at Staples, I walked into this UPS store already carrying the weight of it, for me and for my son. Without me needing to explain much, the woman behind the counter took one look at the Amazon return QR code and gently said, "Oh, that one looks like Staples. Yeah, that's not us." I nodded and shared a little bit of what had just happened. She didn't rush me. She didn't judge. She just listened. Then she helped me, step by step, to cancel the original return, reprocess it through UPS, and even offered to waive the fee for the envelope I needed to repackage a gift. "We usually charge for this," she said, "but don't worry. We've got you." That's what support looks like. She didn't just process a return. She gave me back a little bit of trust in how people show up for each other. My autistic son didn't come into UPS with me because of how Staples made him feel. Scattered, unsupported, and ashamed. This woman didn't even know that. She just did her job well, and with heart. And that's all it ever takes. Thank you. You reminded me that kindness still lives in everyday places. read more

I do a lot of, I mean RIDICULOUS A LOT on Amazon and have to return pretty much everything bc it does not fit. Maria helps me almost every time I go in to this UPS store on S Tracy Blvd. She is ALWAYS IN ALL WAYS so very helpful. I am at times , ok often a tart, and she always is kind, patient, funny, sweet and best of all helpful when I need it and even when I don't need help. I cannot say enough about Maria. She is just fabulous and is the reason I call the UPSStore on S Tracy, the nice one with nice people unlike another location which I call the mean people UPS Store. AVOID this location!!! Was doing a basic Amazon return, only 1 item. Amazon had sent me the wrong size. Soon as you walk in the guy is yelling out instructions for self service. I followed instructions and printed label. Only thing missing was a piece of tape to close the top of the package. The manager pushed to charge me $2 for a piece of tape. ...Instead of being helpful, he was acting petty and greedy. If you don't want customers, just put a sign up that says you don't want customers. Avoid this location for any services. read more

The rep was very chatting and kept making mistakes. Then when my packaged that I shipped out never made its destination because she put the wrong city and ZIP Code. When I called the office to find out where my package was, they wanted me to go online to track it. Then it was delivered to a completely different area and they told me to contact the local post office even though it was their fault. I would never recommend coming to this office. read more

My husband and I frequent this UPS location and have always found all employees very friendly. This morning I had some returns to process, but didn't even realize I made the mistake of selecting a Staples return vs UPS return. Vanita was very kind and helpful in guiding me to correctly process the order so I didn't have to make a second stop to the other side of town with my 7 month old in tow. On my receipt, it indicates "drop off items" at nearest UPS Store. Your staff's job is to help customers and treat them with RESPECT and keep it PROFESSIONAL. I've been using this store for years now. Every time I enter the store I get acknowledged. Service has been great! Workers are friendly and try to get you in and out as fast as possible. This is my drop off center. Every time I need to drop a UPS package, they are always pleasant even when busy. They have a blue drop off box near the front of the store for convenience if you have your own UPS account, you don't need to stand in line and pay for your shipment or scan. The other UPS store on 11th street wouldn't let me just drop my UPS package, they told me I had to stand in line to watch them scan my package! (really?) I do not go to the 11st street store any more. If you want quick service, this store provides that service. read more

It is so sad that the staff here can be nice but the managers sometimes are rude. There was a guy that works here, bald. He is very rude. He yells at the customer and I witnessed rudeness to the employees. I feel bad sometimes for the young new workers that works in this location. The other gal manager here reprimanded the employee and people while in line can hear them. She was mad at the employee leaving stacks of boxes in the front counter. There was really a long line. There was already 2 of them in the counter but never had a chance to put away the boxes away. It's busy! Give the employees a break. I just wish the managers here can be more kinder. Otherwise I think overall the staff here are trying there best. Please train the employees to treat each other better It breaks my heart when I witness this. During these hard times. We should practice being nicer to other people. The 3 stars are for the hard working employees of this location. This ups store is the worst I've encountered. The service is always horrible and the clerks are rude. They want to charge you for everything and anything even when returning Amazon products that don't need packaging. Maria has the worst attitude and accusatory. She speaking condescending to customers. This store should consider closing if the staff is miserable and doesn't want to work or get new staff.they keep changing there rules on Amazon returns. The last time I brought a return packaged up they told me to open it so they can verify the items. This time I brought my return in a box so the staff could verify but was told they will charge me for putting a strip of tape. read more

Just wanted to give two thumbs up to the staff at this UPS store, especially the young lady Paige, and who I believe is probably the manager, Sonia. I am partially Deaf, and with COVID and masks, it is really frustrating to try to understand speech when lip reading is no longer an option. Paige has been very patient with me, when I came in over the holidays, and she just started signing, which felt like such a gigantic relief, you have no idea! It was beautiful and really eased my anxiety. Yesterday I came in and Paige was helping another customer. Sonia started my service, then she just tapped Paige and they switched so she could sign to me. It seemed effortless, which is amazing to me, because sooo many businesses react with frustration when I can't communicate. I really truly appreciate their teamwork and just overall reliability. This place is the biggest rip off, today they tried to charge my wife 1.00 per strip of tape to tape the UPS label on the package she is returning to Amazon. The customer service in this store is the worst i have ever experienced in a UPS store and will tell everybody i know not to use the UPS store on Tracy Blvd. The other day they wanted to charge me 5.00 to make a photo copy of 2 documents witch i consider a little outrageous. I'm on the road all day for work and constantly have to print work orders. Today I needed to print just 2 pages from this location because I was going to do a job around the corner, I was charged $5.86 which is honestly an insane amount. I usually pay no more than $3.50 at most at other UPS stores and even then I think thats a lot. The self service printer machines like at Staples for example only charge a few cents, and I get it youre doing the work for me but still takes no more than a minute to print it, and I just walk over to the printer to grab it myself. The fees just dont make sense. I do think all UPS stores charge too much for such a simple service but this particular store is just taking advantage obviously. Wont be coming back I'll just drive an extra 10 minutes to fedex. Even they dont charge labor to print it for you. read more

As I was approaching the counter, about to push the 'view barcode' for my first of 3 returns, I was met with a huff as I was saying I had 3 returns. Then, as I turned my phone this man TOUCHED MY PHONE. Don't do that unless asked. Gross. He bumped me off the screen I was on as he said gruffly "you HAVE TO CONFIRM THE RETURN", said I wasn't ready said I needed to wait again.. DUDE.. I had my finger over the barcode until you touched my phone. First time trying to use this store for an Amazon return, and very definitely the LAST. I suggest ANY other UPS store for your business. I work retail. I completely get it. You're busy, people are not informed and you make almost NOTHING for these returns. Get out of this business then. Do something else. You were not nice and my shipping business will never be coming there. *edit to response below* Even if my barcode wasn't visible, no reason to touch my phone. I use the Tracy Blvd UPS store often, mainly for all my Amazon returns, but for other shipping as well. Because I use it often, I want to express my appreciation for the quick and efficient service that I receive. I usually drop my shipping off in the morning after dropping the kids at school and a very kind and helpful gentleman, named Ronnie, is there to help me. Even early in the morning, he is always has a smile on his face and a kind word to start my day. Welp, it pains me to write this. I like supporting local business. But their packaging fees are highway robbery. Brought in a drone this morning (Saturday August 11th) and was told that it would be 44 bucks alone to just package the damn thing or they won't ship it. As I look at her in disbelief. I told her I'll just go to Fedex and ship it from there. Her attitude was "like Fedex would be cheaper". Well it sure was. It cost 10 bucks to package. Proof below... Better to go else where. I went to pick up a package at about 11am today but I was waiting for more than 30 mins and still no body came to open the pick up window. I press the button 5 times already but there are no response. There's an Indian guy who chose to ignore me. I know maybe he's busy but it won't take a minute to hand me my package. I am a disabled veteran and it's hard for me to stand up for a long time, luckily there is a lady on the counter who's willing to help me who is another indian gentlewoman. read more

I go here purely out of convenience. They get three stars rather than two because the efficiency and ease when returning Amazon items. My issue is the pricing. It is almost always more expensive to ship things from this location than when I used to go to other stores. My most recent experiences are what are making me review this location though. I ordered a ring off Etsy which was damaged and needed to be returned twice for repair and a third time for a refund. The ring was over $300 value. The first time I shipped it, it cost $5. The second time I shipped it, I added insurance(insurance wasn't offered the first time I shipped it) and they charged $18. Today I went it to ship it for the final time and the price came out to $30. $30 isn't a big deal but I'm a bit annoyed that they aren't clear on pricing. I felt bad for bringing this up to the girl who rang me up because she was training and I was in no way blaming her and I hope no one in the store took it as me getting mad. I am confused why this time was almost twice as much as last time. When I asked someone who worked there, they claimed it was because gas prices have gone up. My response was simply okay thats fine and I paid it because I don't want to mess up someone's day over that so I was like okay whatever. But gas prices haven't gone up. They've gone down. The second time I shipped this ring was about 2-3 weeks ago. The price of shipping should've gone down too, not up. The same woman also claimed the price was higher because there is a $3 charger for every $100 of value. But why was I not charged that last time then? Just be more clear on pricing is all. read more

Add this to the pile of 1-star reviews for this UPS store. Right off the bat, the bald man jumped down my throat for not having a box for one of my Amazon returns; while the other was boxed and simply needed tape. I had done returns here previously and didn't realize that there were two types and that some required boxes. Rather than educate me, I got a flash of a laminated card and got yelled at for not knowing the difference between the two types of QR codes. When I asked if I could have my boxed item taped up, I was told I would be charged for tape and then when I took my card out to pay, I was told he would be charged by the credit card company more to swipe my card and refused payment. He then told me to come back with my item boxed and I let him know I wouldn't be returning. If I hadn't been treated the way that I had, I would have just paid for a box to avoid the inconvenience of returning, but no, not giving this place my money. I walked out of the store with my son and explained that when you treat customers like that, you lose any future business with them. As soon as I finished my sentence, a man parked next to us asked if I was talking about the UPS store (!!) and recommended that he stopped coming to this store because of a similar experience and that Mail & More is much better even though this place is closer. I guess I'll be going a little farther myself but it'll be nice to not get yelled at in front of the staff, other customers and my kid. I was going to give this guy the benefit of the doubt because we're all entitled to bad days, but I think this is validated by the comment from the guy in the parking lot and all the other bad reviews with similar experiences. read more

The lady with the short red hair is very unfriendly. I came in with a baby in the car seat crying. Came to the counter to ask a question, she didn't even let me say anything before she told me to go and close the front door that some how got left open when I walked in. Than I went to ask my question (trying to return an Amazon item) and before I could ask my question she just said I need a Receipt to return the item. I brought everything that Amazon told me to bring. The only reason I give them a 2 star is because another employee helped me out and it turned out that I had everything that I needed. Employee was extremely rude, charged me for packaging for an Amazon return that said it needed no packaging to drop off. I told him that it was so weird because on Amazon it didn't say I needed it . And when I tried showing him what it said on Amazon he ignored it and he said very rudely "well you can take it back if you want." When I called him out on his rude remark he began talking back to me and telling that he wasn't and kept repeating I could take my package back. Then when a male customer walked in he spoke very nicely to him while giving me the worst customer experience. I don't understand why ups managers feel the need to be so rude. I go to the UPS store at least once a week. I have a mailbox at the UPS store I check at least once a week. Compared to these other extremely rude reviews, I actually know what this store is like on a week to week basis. Everyone is so kind, nice and helpful. Always excellent service and very knowledgeable. To avoid long lines, go in the early mornings! read more
