Thank you to the gentleman that helped my almost 80yo mother in law today. She said she didn't realize that the return she has for Amazon was supposed to go to USPS, she chose them on accident. She said the tall guy at the counter was friendly and said he could still help her out with everything. He helped her with printing what she needed, and helped package up the product nicely and attaching the label as well. Things were so crazy during graduation, that I completely forgot to come on and leave a glowing review for not only the customer service but also the products they sell. For graduation they made fat heads that could be put on sticks and used for graduation. It was such an affordable price and it made our pictures with our graduate so special. The staff were so friendly and helped me throughout the process. I thank you for making my son's graduation extra special. The pirate baby picture was a hit!!! I will also add that I ship things at this location frequently and have never had a problem. The review a few down states the young people are unfriendly and he is completely out of line. I find them to be so helpful and the fun ads they put up at graduation were amazing. When I went in, I felt like an old person with no knowledge of the internet and they helped me every step of the way. read more

If I'm being honest, I leave annoyed everytime I walk into this location. If you need a shipling label printed they charge an outrageous amount of money to print it for you ( standard 8.5x11 paper in black and white) Across the street at Staples they literally charge less than 1/10th the price. I went to make an Amazon return and they informed me I had to provide a box this time (my mistake for not noticing in the Amazon instructions, usually no box required) but they charged me $20 for the return box. Mind you it was a large box but still. I Should've walked to Home Depot across the parking lot to buy one equivalent size for $3. Now while I was surprised to what extent, everyone knows that UPS stores are expensive. The primary reason I'm leaving a review is because of the employees. Twice while in the store I've witnessed them speak to customers in a very impolite fashion. Disappointing to see these young people talking to other adults like they're children. It has made the experience of being in their storefront uncomfortable. I hope my feedback is heard from the management and they work with their young staff members to improve their customer service. Unfortunately I've had enough bad experiences here that I don't plan to be back anytime soon. I'll take my Amazon returns, printing and shipping needs elsewhere. read more

Need tape to seal your package real quick? don't go here! They freakin' charge $2 just to seal up a package. I'm not talking about using multiple strips of tape to seal, I'm only taking about ONE strip of tape just to seal a box. Excellent customer service!! I have been to other UPS stores in Tracy but I have had the most pleasant experience by far with this one on Naglee road. It was my first time mailing something internationally to Canada, B.C. Vasundhra and Christian who were working behind the counter really guided me thru the process. Vasundhra took time to assure other customers she would be with them as soon as she could as she was helping me throughout my shipping. I physically dropped off my package at this branch location 7/1. I was rung up and the estimated delivery was 7/3. I kept checking for tracking status and it kept saying that UPS was not in possession. I called them 7/5, spoke to the branch manager and he told me he'd make some calls to customer service and he'll get back to me by end of day. I don't get a call back so I called 7/6 only to be told the branch manager is off and he's the only one who can help me. No call back 7/7. Called again 7/8, spoke to an associate to see if I can talk to the branch manager only to be relayed "no update, sorry that's all I can tell you." I insisted on speaking with the branch manager and I was denied. It's now 7/10 and still have not received a call back. Poor customer service. I would only use this UPS location for Amazon package drop offs and nothing else. Safe to say, they've lost my package and I'm sure my claim will take weeks to process. I recommend using another UPS location for your shipping needs. read more

Customer service review only - was returning a package to amazon. Didn't have my qr code ready cause, guess what, my hands were full with the package. Greeted promptly by a gal around 6ft. No hi, no greeting, just 'return to Amazon?' Ok fine, tell her yes, put package down and try to bring up Amazon app to give her the QR code. Good old Vzw fell service in Tracy strikes. Takes a second, I say to the gal, please help the person behind me that just came in. Rolls her eyes and walks away. Doesn't help either of us. Haha. Take packages else where to be shipped. Why continue to pay for that girls hourly. She clear doesn't give a shit and must have better opportunities. Push her along into those opportunities. Help her out. A second person helped me get the package shipped. He was cool and didn't seem to hate his job. Al other times I've been there have been relatively uneventful but I do remember each time having bad or severely underwhelming customer service. The reviews going into overcharging for tape and printing are so true. They tried to charge me $1 for tape (this I thought was fine) but then wanted to charge me $5 to print a packing slip. Do yourself a favor and go to Staples across the parking lot to print a packing slip for 15 cents and but your own tape for $3. Also, if you want to call and lodge a complaint, the stores are independently owned, but you can call 18007894623 and they will relay the complaint to the owner and area manager. Edit, I should add that when I went to drop the package off after getting my tape and slip and mentioned they could tell customers to print at Staples if someone raised a concern about price, the woman I presume is the manager then said sometimes they will print for cheaper. So basically they are making up prices depending on if they like you as a customer. I had already spent $30 to package and ship a package with them so $5 to print a packing slip was ridiculous. read more

I had ALOT of packages to ship out for the holiday rush. I was lucky enough to be able and or pare everything at home (including the shipping labels). Unfortunately I had a pick up set up and no one came. I had to get my orders out ASAP so, I did what I had to do. I loaded my car to the brim to drop off my packages myself. Up one entering they were a bit busy scanning an entire UPS trucks packages and helping them. Despite this, they saw me with my hands full and got the door for me, greeted me immediately, and asked if I needed any more help. I asked if I could get a receipt just to confirm/have proof of dropping off my shipments. The staff was kind enough to oblige. That was when I said I had a lot of packages and would have a few trips to bring everything in. They offered to help me and even let me borrow their dolly! I asked if I could bring it and they can scan everything as I came in and out. I was very grateful because some of these orders were HEAVY. Because of their help, I only had to do 2 trips with the dolly rather than 151 and balance boxes. I was not expecting ups to be THIS nice! Definitely will be my go to if I ever have to go to drop off orders in the future. Thanks guys! read more

I've been doing business at this location for four years. Pre-Covid, mid-Covid and Post COVID. The pre covid manager and staff had very negative attitudes. At times even downright rude. During covid, Staff changed a bit, became a bit more efficient and the mean owner was around less. Most of my business is prepaid shipping so it doesn't require much work. Parking and aggressive homeless people are a real problem at this location. read more

My Amazon return label said to take my medium-size, unpackaged item to this location for packaging and shipping free of charge. After waiting in a long line I was informed by a young woman that they were having "system problems" and that therefore they could not package the item for me. When I asked if they had packaging material I could use to package the item myself she said "yes" but the charge would be $4 to $5! Frustrated, we went to the nearby store on 11th Street where the clerk promptly accepted the unpackaged item with a smile. It seems to me that the "system problem" was actually the long line (last day for Amazon Xmas returns) and their unwillingness to take the time. read more

If you can avoid this store please do so!! The other day I went to go return a textbook to amazon to this location. This really nice girl helped me and she let me know I was using the wrong box. I told her I wasn't aware of that and I was willing to have her repackage the item for me. This older Indian guy who works there came rushing to me leaving the customer he was helping,interrupted the girl who was helping me , to come yell at me about the box I was using. I was using a post office box, I usually ship through Fed Ex and have used those boxes before there without any issues. So I just assumed it would be ok at UPS too, plus it was the only box I had. So what the older Indian guy did was grab another post office box he had and he threw it on top of my box, still going off about how I couldn't use the box . When I told him that okay I wasn't aware I couldn't use it he said "Well who told you, you could" it the most attitude way ever. After he said that he walked away to help the guy he was helping and whom he shouldn't have ever left because I was already receiving help and didn't need his extra input. The girl who was helping me looked extremely uncomfortable, and kept apologizing for his behavior I told her she didn't need to apologize it was him who was being extremely rude and he didn't need to come and yell at me like that over a dumb box . If I could give this store 0 stars I really would horrible customer service on that guys part, completely unprofessional. read more

My go to UPS Store to send back my Amazon returns. They are always friendly and quick which as a busy mom of 4 I appreciate. Only downside is the parking. It can get really busy in the small area they are in. Not their fault just how the setup is (especially with Starbucks right there). I usually try to go during off hours if at all possible. Just something to be aware of if you hate driving in busy parking lots like me. read more

The staff were very helpful and friendly. They were quick to offer suggestions and solutions to the shipping problem I had in one instance. I also had happened on the same trip to accidentally give them a USPS package, to which they offered to give to the postman during the next drop off/pick up, which I felt went above and beyond. This is my first time going into this location... I received a gift from my Amazon baby registry that I somehow got a double of, so I had to return the other via UPS. I walked in today and was immediately greeted by [LAURA] even while she was in the middle of another package. Decent sized location, store was very clean and shipping supplies were stocked. As soon as Laura finished she was able to help me out. She noticed my long nails and shortly had a conversation about me expecting a little one. We had a short, silly but genuine conversation about kids and both laughed at the entire conversation. Amid running some VERY last minute errands before my little one arrives, ON TOP OF the madness that the COVID-19 has caused many people/employees/businesses-- it's so nice to be able to smile and laugh with someone who is still kind, calm, accommodating, and professional during a "crazy" time. To be honest, prior to walking in I was preparing myself for some crazy customer service due to everything going on these days... but the customer service I received today was not that, at all! Thank you, Laura, for helping me out today and for making one of my last minute errands such a breeze. I'm sure I will be returning in the future for another return or two. read more

I was told my pkg weighs 8 pound when amazon return label has clearly printed 4 pounds. Something is very wrong with the weight machine. Wonder why??? Very disappointed in their service today. Always gone there and never had an issue before. Got there 4 minutes prior to their closing and they had locked the door. They heard me there when I initially tried to open it but ignored me. When a delivery driver came out, I held the door snd asked if I could mail out a document and the man rudely nodded no instead of politely saying "sorry we closed early". Would have made this review different. Customer support doesn't seem to exist these days. Why keep store timing till 7pm when they plan to close at 6:55pm???
