2 stars because everyone there always acts as if they hate their job. When I enter, no one greets me (unless I do first); no one smiles. Maybe I just come in when the apathetic employees are working. I feel as if they don't take me seriously. Other than that, it's a basic UPS Store. Sure things could get expensive, but what do you expect. It would be nice to hire someone who doesn't make me feel like I'm bothering them. read more

The staff at this store are great! They are quick and efficient. They are very helpful when I send my UPS packages or my Amazon returns.

My package was dropped off at 11:15 am and at 1pm the clerk stated he hadn't checked it in yet and was too busy to check it in and give it to me. There was no one else in the store and he said I would have to come back at 3pm. Extremely unprofessional and unwilling to help. read more

We were helped by Jacquelyn who was very nice and had a small conversation with us. She seemed very sure of what she was doing and got us in and out as quick as possible. I've come in here several times and I each time I've had a great experience with the customer service. Don't be intimidated by any long lines you might see upon entering. The people who work there make sure that they do the fastest, yet most efficient job at getting you out of there. I especially had a pleasant experience with Laura. Worst UPS Store ever, DO NOT get livescan service here unless you want to lose 80+ dollars, took a week and a half and my employer still had not received it, turns out their system was down the day I went and got it done. Called them on the phone to get my fingerprint fee refunded since I was tired of waiting for them to fix their system. Right after the call I went into the store for my refund and it turns out that it was sent and they couldnt give me my refund, what a WASTE of TIME and Money, worst customer service ever, and I believe it was the owner who helped me. read more

I try to ship a package to my company from this location using my company's account number, but unfortunately the clerk couldn't figure it out. He said he couldn't even look up the account number for some reason. I've shipped hundreds of times this way from other UPS stores and never had an issue. I'm not sure if it was lack of knowledge or whack of willingness to get it done, but I had to leave without shipping the package. read more

Customer service is negligible at best. I called to find out when the last pick up was on Saturday. I was put on hold, and after 15 minutes just before I got there I was cut off. The woman who worked there was closing (before posted closing hours) and said she was with a customer which was why she didn't bother answering the phone or even coming back on and telling me she was busy. Unacceptable customer service. I understand dealing with an in store customer but you don't leave someone on hold for 15 minutes without at least letting them Know what's going on. And as it turned out I had to turn around and go the Livermore to drop my package. Had I known I would have gone there directly. Thank you UPS store for wasting my time. read more

The staff always greet me by name and are very knowledgeable about all shipping options. Employees were ZERO help. I was returning a tablet. The girl packaged it up and said $17.35. I was not paying $17 for a box. I asked if there were cheaper boxes and she says yes. Nothing else. I arrived with two over-flowing, poorly packed boxes to ship. I fully expected to have to purchase boxes, packing materials, etc., and having to pay a lot for the supplies + the help I would need. To my delight, the young lady at the counter seemingly magically repacked my boxes in moments and sealed them securely. The next pleasant surprise was how inexpensive the shipping costs were. My fear of sending large or heavy boxes via UPS has evaporated. read more

Had 109 pages to fax, but the fax machine on the receiving end kept saying busy. The owner continued to try for three days and finally completed all the pages. He was very professional and friendly and even called me when it was all faxed. Great Job. read more

Love this store... Everyone is very helpful and courteous. they acknowledge and greet everyone who comes through the door, regardless of what they are doing. When I'm in a hurry and have to ship a package I usually have the package ready when I come into the store. If there are several people in line ahead of me, they allow me to just drop it off... I don't need a drop off receipt and in the 4+ years I've been using this store, I've never had a problem with any shipments. I also like the fact that when I walk in they just automatically grab the mail from my mailbox and bring it to me. I highly recommend this store!!!! Went into the store looking for a UPS dropoff on a Friday, person behind the counter said he'd take it. These were important papers for a closing on the sale of our house on the East Coast. The following Tuesday morning, day of closing, title company doesn't have paperwork, says tracking shows still at store. Really? So with overnight service (should have arrived Monday) doesn't even have it on the road by Tuesday, just sitting there. Will NEVER use this UPS store again. Doesn't matter if the shipping fee gets refunded, this delayed the closing on our house out of sheer disregard of doing their job. read more

Had UPS send three packages here instead of my house because I didn't want them stolen. Got emails that all three were delivered, went to pick them up, only two were there. The older guy that was there searched all over, checked his log, sure enough it was signed for by them, but no package. So, since it was the end of the day, he said he would follow up with UPS cause they have a new route driver, who probably screwed up, and he'd call me when he figured out where my package was. Imagine my surprise when I get a tracking notice from UPS that my package is being sent back to the shipper...because it wasn't picked up in time from the UPS store?! I WENT TO THE UPS STORE. THEY SUPPOSEDLY DIDN'T HAVE MY PACKAGE! He was supposed to call me if/when he found my package, not send it back. Thanks for nothing. It's a good thing there are other UPS stores in Tracy; distance is about the same from my house and hopefully they can actually keep track of packages. Oh, and the store smells like BO. read more

I've been coming here for the past several years. The staff is always friendly and professional & go out of their way to help, IF they have the EXTRA time and availability. I've shipped out of this store twice now for my business. Ben helped me the first time with my package for an overnight delivery. My package never arrived. I called the store, spoke to Ben. He said it was UPS fault because the trailer was late to arrive in Oakland from Stockton. He also said that there it would be 3-4 weeks before I will get my refund, its now 5 weeks. I went back today and they have the WORSE customer service and store manager ever!!! I'd rather drive to west 11st! The manager (Paul Mistry) came out from the back, it's obvious he's been eating because he wiped his mouth with his bare hands. He just stared at me with two packages on the counter. I asked him, can I ship these packages 2nd day air? He said sure. I hand him the address, he starts typing it in. Mean while, I asked him about the status of my claim. He told me i won't get any refund because of bad weather conditions. I said I spoke to Ben and emailed him a bunch of stuffs, with value over $100. My total bill was $180.00! He looks up my claims on his computer and told me when they receive the refund they'll give me a call and also said they'll look into the claims tomorrow and get back to me. So I left it at that. In front of me were 2 packages, the smaller one is 8x8x8/2.15lbs box billed at 9x9x9/5lbs, Plus fuel surcharge $4.33 and cms processing fee, 2nd day air $39.35= $43.88. The larger one was 10x10x10/4.20lbs billed at 11x11x11/8lbs 2nd day air $52.45, fuel surcharge $5.77 plus cms fees = $58.42. He tried to sell me one big box since it's going to the same address in MN. I asked him how much was it, he said $128.00. I told him no thank you. He prints out the shipment receipt and asks me to pay $102.30. I asked him to print out a copy of the shipment revisit he disregard my request. After I signed my copy of the revceipt he hands me a copy of my receipt with tracking numbers on it, asked him again to print me copies of the shipment receipt. He reprinted me one, the other he had to make a copy at the copy machine. As he walks back to the register where I'm at, he told me, "Tell me next time that you want copies". I said, "I asked you and you said it was going to print out on my receipt". Then he said, "I'm not Ben, I don't know what you want, so tell me next time!" I get my copies and I thank him as I leave the shop. 15 minutes later, I get a phone call from the "other" store manager, stating that I went in and chewed up Paul! I said that all I asked was for him to check the status of the claim. She interrupted me and said, he had no idea about my claim because Ben was the one who handled it and That I should have explained it to Paul in details. She said the reason why the claim took long was because they needed a persons name. I told her, I sent an email to Ben with all the information on it over a month ago and she said they never got the email. I told her I'll reprint the original email that I sent to Ben. She said her name was Vanita Mistry and she'll be the main contact for my claims from now own. I also own my own business and highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this store. Ups Store #4828 read more

Warning to unsuspecting customers: if you have a prepaid UPS package you're fine, but whatever you do don't let them mail regular USPS packages for you. I made the mistake of doing that once, and their scale claimed my package weighed more than it did on my accurate scale at home. In addition, UPS stores are franchises and the individual owners decide how much extra to charge you for the convenience of mailing USPS packages. A small surcharge, like maybe 10% or something, is completely reasonable, but a lot of UPS franchises charge way more than this, and if you ask them what the surcharge is they won't tell you and will claim they don't know and it's programmed by the computer or some such BS. I'm not sure what this particular franchise charges because they wouldn't tell me, but based on my experience with their scale I have my suspicions. read more

Warning!! Do NOT use them! In two years they raised their rates from $15-$25 for a small mail box rental. They said they don't have to notify their customers of mail box increases! We either stopped receiving our mail or they give you a notice weeks after! Also. they have a policy if you do not pick up your package within 5 business days they will charge storage fees!! It doesn't help if you don't get your notification on time!! Complained several times about service being so slow. They are very under staffed. Go Somewhere Else!!! read more
