Always courteous and kind. Whenever I ship high value items ($2000+) I use this store and this store only. If they pack they guarantee 100%. I am quite thorough and neurotic when I pack my items and many of my clients have commented on how well my items are packed. The only folks I trust packing besides myself is this UPS store and I know I get compliments when they ship as well, I have direct proof of it. Anyway. They refused to ship our UPS labeled packages just cuz the label was from a 3rd party. Incredibly rude and unhelpful staff members.

I have been very happy with the prints I have received. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the location is convenient.

I had an important painting packaged and shipped to LA and I just got it yesterday. It was the absolutely most perfect packaging of an art piece I have encountered, having sent many paintings through shipping. The painting itself was protected properly an the boxing could have withstood a human sitting on it (briefly). Thank you so much for getting my beloved family heirloom to me safely! I used this location to store my daughter's belongings from May until August. Before I gave them my payment information I asked them if several of my larger items needed to be packed; They told me no. They quoted me a price and we arranged pickup and storage. When I received my final invoice they had billed me extra money for boxes to store the larger items they said did not need to be packed. When they delivered the items the 16" standing oscillating fan, which they packed away, it was broken! I contacted them several times; No response. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau; The store chose not to respond! Be very wary! They are shady!!! read more

I actually feel bad having waited so long to post this RAVING REVIEW...The UPS Team of this location is very busy and very good at what they do. Despite the occasional overwhelming traffic (when Cornell begins/ends their semesters), this team is Go Go Go Great Great Great 24/7/365. To be more specific, our daughter used their services to ship and receive over the last 4 years during her enrollment/graduation from Cornell...always a good experience, but wait there's more... She moved from dorms to the sorority house to an apartment just above the UPS store. On move-out day (during the very busy graduation week), we had a full-service experience. They lent us their dolly so we could bring down the boxes. We weren't sure where we were going to store her belongings as she would travel across Europe during the summer before moving to NYC and her new job. The UPS team offered to store her boxes until our daughter completed her summer vacation and had an address to ship to. True to form when we contacted them with the ship-to address...they handled it very well, including nailing the timing of the delivery. They went above and beyond in their communications with us and executed the tasks flawlessly. The pricing for the boxes, tape, storage, and outbound shipping was very fair and allowed us to enjoy our visit and graduation activities rather than finding/driving to a 3rd party storage location. 5 STARS without reservation...these folks work hard, they work smart, and keep a positive attitude when the traffic in the small store gets crazy. read more

I don't recommend this place. They wouldn't tape my box with two pieces of tape and instead asked me to purchase a roll of tape. I walked out. Kindness didn't happen here today. I rarely give poor reviews, but this was ridiculous experience that warranted one. I was here another time and was charged an exorbitant amount for a box even though I brought the package in a proper container for shipment. I chose not to review it because I thought maybe I misunderstood their policy, but I have now learned that this was a type of price gouging so I have included it in this review as well. Went over to UPS at Staples on St Meadow St and had no issue. Very easy process there. read more

I made an appointment for notary services at 11am. When I arrived the notary was not there. But they apologized, called the notary and he came as quickly as he could. Then they gave us the service for free. Very nice people. read more

If you want to stand in line then leave because they work 0 miles an hour here, then come back and stand in line again and after wasting more time, they will tell you they cannot ship your item-a return to Amazon, for one reason or another. Being helpful is not what this story is about. Go to regular UPS for anything that you need to ship. I'm moving to the Ithaca area; but after one too many bad experiences with a certain USPS office in Buffalo, which almost required that I Yelp it, I decided to return to UPS after sadly parting ways when I left Georgia, about which I also Yelped. I haven't even sent this UPS store my paperwork for a mailbox yet, but my phone call to them earlier today reminded me of the good ol' days back in ATL: professionalism, normalcy (Sorry, B-lo, but you don't do "weird" like Austin, TX or Berkeley "Berzerkeley", CA.), consistency, and access to the information that I need - often times without knowing to ask...the latter of which is related to more than one experience I've had in Buffalo, but that's beside the point. 'Nough said. Anyway, I'm just really excited to have my little golden box back! I've never been a "you get what you pay for" type of gal, and my pre-Buffalo post office box experiences would most definitely prove this ideology wrong, but it's just like, I'm gagging to pay twice as much money for the peace of mind I know I'll get with a UPS mailbox. I have gotten nothing but stellar service from this UPS location. Here are some nice perks at this store 1. Amazon returns are super easy here; they even allow you to log into your amazon account on their computer and print your label for free. Print your label, give them your package and leave - it's super fast! 2. If you show up with a package that they think is packed poorly they will doctor it up very quickly with extra tape, so it gets through shipping undamaged, at no extra charge 3. They are always upfront about all charges and the pros and cons about each of the shipping methods. UPS isn't cheap, but the very friendly and useful customer service makes it a far better option for shipping your packages than dealing with the long lines, unreliable shipping and poor service that can be found at Ithaca's branch of the US post office. read more

I stopped in to return some Amazon items on a Wednesday late afternoon. I realized when I got home that I'd only given them one QR code to scan instead of 2 to cover all my items. I called Thursday morning and Drasti assisted me. When I hung up, we had determined that my best bet was to take this up with Amazon to ensure I got a refund for all three items. 2 minutes later, Drasti called me back and said she found my outgoing package, had me text my QR code to her and she scanned it and updated my items. She went above and beyond for me and made my error very easy to deal with. She rocks all the socks!! read more

Rude customer service. Wasn't helpful at all. Couldn't return something (a simple box) I didn't use even with the receipt. My interaction with them has been extremely unpleasant and I don't recommend anyone going there. You're better off somewhere else where you're appreciated as a customer. read more

Don't try to be eco-friendly and re-use boxes here. I tried to ship a box of books to Powell's City of Books using a pre-paid label that said clearly on it, 'Powell's City of Books online book buyback' but my package was rejected because it 'looked like a wine box'. In reality, it was a box from a syrup company that does not sell alcohol. I offered to open the box and prove that it was filled with books, but apparently this was not acceptable evidence. Everything at UPS is barcoded, and yet they cannot verify that a re-used box from a syrup company does not contain wine? I suspect the asinine policy is directly related to the fact that the UPS store sells over-priced boxes and tape. If they refuse to accept your re-used box, you either have to leave and come back with your item packed in a non-wine shaped box (which is what, exactly? What if your item is wine-shaped but not wine?) or shell out for the overpriced packing supplies on site. read more
