Updated review: This UPS location is my go to as it's close to home and they have friendlier customer service then most of their other UPS stores. I usually see Mickall at the counter and she is very helpful and nice. I just had to give her props for service and dedication. I also like that it's not as super crowded with customers. They do operate with Covid protocols. They offer the same services in this location like the other ones. There is plenty of parking and reasonable store hours. The only thing is their use of the computer is never available when I come in, not that I would pay to use it. I'm only giving it one star today because I'm annoyed. I emailed my shipping label...apparently to the wrong email address, my fault. But it took someone 5 mins to come from the back to say "my co-worker said she still hasn't received the packing slip." So we checked the email, I forgot the 'The" ....fixed it and the email came right away to the computer in the FRONT of the store. So why was the receptionist in the back!!? If she would've stayed in the front of the store where I was, she could've checked in with me sooner. Mind you, it was past 3 mins and I would accept that answer more if the young lady wasn't in the back talking on the phone. Like, come on now, I can hear you on the phone. Okay so out the last couple times i went the costumer service is either great or is really terrible. I only been in when I think the Mexican girl is there and she is amazing and explains everything when I need help. I try to go when she is there because even if she is busy she goes above an beyond. then there is this other short girl I think her name started with an L but the name tag was upside down. The girl with the upside down name tag basically told me I was illiterate and didn't know how to follow instructions. I also noticed when I do go in the Mexican girl is doing the most work while other workers are on the phone or can't be bothered to help. That's why the minus one star. I sent two boxes of Christmas gifts to Arizona on a Wednesday morning and my daughter received them on Friday which was very quick for regular mail. The lady that helped me was nice and professional and actually packed, taped and put labels on the boxes while I was there. Last year when I sent gifts a man helped me and just put the gifts to the side without packing them, which worried me a bit because I thought he could forget what went with my ticket. The cashier tried to charge me for a copy of PSO (paper you sign with terms and conditions). Per UPS corporate (I called, too much time on my hands) we are entitled to a free copy, but she tried to pull the "We're franchises and independently owned" card which is BS. Yes, franchises can charge what they want on certain services, but PSO is free at all locations. She tried to say I can just take a picture. I had sent my dad in to do this shipment (I might be sick) and told him to just put in the smallest bubble mailer... my receipt reflects the cashier rung him up for 2 kinds of packaging (office supplies, not otherwise specified). My dad said the woman put it in an additional plastic sleeve which is unnecessary (he's too absent minded go describe exactly how she did it, but I know for certain 1 bubble mailer would have been sufficient) These people are cheapskates. Called to make sure Notary Public was there and was told by person that Notary Public was there until 6:00pm. Got to store 10 minutes later, right before 5:00pm, and was told the Notary left early. Don't go to any UPS store for Notary!!! Had to call and went to other UPS on Decoto. Told same thing that Notary was there until 6pm. But got there and also told that person left early too. This is by far the most nicest UPS stores that I have ever been to in my life. The man Vinny who works there is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. He came across to me as a very competent person who knows what he is talking about and was extremely helpful when I needed to have my passport taken. There are many things that they do at this store 1) Returning your books that you rent from Amazon 2) Faxing paperwork if you don't have a fax machine 3) Using the computer to print out word documents 4) They have PO boxes in the store so that you can pick up your mail 5) They have boxes you can purchase also to mail back your items 6) They also do passport photos 7) They also have notary 8) Packing and shipping of items 9) They are also USPS shipping so you no longer have to go to the post office which is a huge plus so that you can easily compare the pricing of shipping to see which is cheaper. Like the other yelpers have mentioned I really wished that there are other UPS stores as good as this one. This one is according to Vinny is under new owner ship so maybe that is why this one is by far better than all the others one that I've been to. If I have importants documents are things that need to be shipped on time I will be coming to this one to make sure that the job is done right. I recently needed to get a live-scan done. The UPS store has trained and qualified staff members to roll prints. I was able to get in and out of the location within 10 minutes. Due to covid they do not touch you when rolling so it was completely contact-free, very pleasant experience and I will be returning if I ever need another scan again. read more
