I'm glad I switched my package deliveries to this location. The customer service is so much better here than the other location I used to frequent. The storefront is very compact so the lines can seem a little long, but the ladies are fast! They keep the line moving quickly. Also, the ladies try their best to remember customers' names/ faces. Normally you walk in and can email them what you want printed with the store email. At this specific location with a specific lady you have to RENT a computer, send your documents to your email and print them out. What is the point of working if you don't work? read more

FYI beware!!! I took a box of xmas presents for my daughter out of state to the UPS store on Mission blvd in Hayward. They created labels and i shipped on 12-26-24. On 12-27 tracking shows it was in San Pablo. On 1-8-2025, my daughter calls and says, Hey i still havent gotten the package. After days of trying to get anyone to answer, i was told ten different things. Last thing told was that the label was flagged for fraud and that my package was intercepted on 12-30 and sent to Nashville for disposal. No updates. No phone call. Bahumbug no xmas presents. Customer service and fraud dept were very difficult to get a hold of anyone. So please beware read more

I got fingerprinting done at this store. It was efficient but very curt. I experienced pain when my fingers were adjusted for fingerprinting. I wish there had been more verbal instructions, instead of just manual adjustment. read more

I went to the UPS store on Mission Blvd located across from Lucky to get a passport photo. I chose UPS because I found a coupon online for 15% off passport photos. The UPS website listed the Mission Blvd store as the closest option. When I arrived I was informed the store owner does not honor the 15% discounts even though it is clearly listed on the website. This is false advertising and I typically give one star for false advertising. I believe businesses should be accountable. In this case, the service was good so the one star increased to 3 stars. Donna was very helpful through out the process. She was working alone and there were multiple people in line and she greeted everyone. The other worker was on break. She helped me get one of my packages but I realized I was missing one of my packages so I went back and lined up again. She greeted me again and when it's time to find my package it was not there! She finished with her previous customer and then helped me look for the tracking number and found the package. Very professional and helpful. Ups needs to hire another individual to help out the store so customer's can stop blaming her for being alone but rather ups not wanting to hire more people to help out the lines! read more

What a nightmare. I've come to this store a few times and had no real issues outside of the low energy of the employees. After them immediately loosing a package I handed directly to the employee, 2 months of no resolution I'm never coming back to this location. Two months ago I ran into a situation I hadn't before where I could only submit a payment using a check or money order. I decided a money order would be better to send and that Id send it using UPS instead of the regular mail. I figured it would be safer to send and would get there quicker with no issues. I was wrong. I handed my money order off to the employee, paid for the shipping, provided/verified the address it was going to, even took a picture of the money order on the UPS store counter as it was no small amount. It shows it was never received or logged into the system. It was due to arrive 1 or 2 days later and never did. I checked the shipping confirmation number and it said "will be shipped when the packaged is received". I called, and had to wait til the manager (Debbie) was in to discuss it. I was called back and told the money order was lost, I provided my confirmation number, the amount of the money order and was told not to worry about it. I waited for a callback and never heard back so I called back the next day. I was told again, don't worry and not to cancel the money order and I'd hear back within a week. I never heard back and called again. They were still looking into it and it had been 2 weeks now and my payment was late. After awhile I requested a refund of the money order and had to get another money order to make the now overdue payment including a late penalty and a $25 fee for requesting a refund on a money order. I talked to the manager again last week and was supposed to hear back and I still haven't. It's been a little more than 2 months and no one's reached out, I haven't been compensated in any way or received an apology. The manager Debbie was nice each time I called, but I never heard back from her or received any for of resolution whatsoever. I waited a long time to write this review, but it's concerning that my money order went missing immediately and never showed it was received by the store/employee. My only saving grace is that I paid, had my receipt/confirmation that I in fact did drop off the money order and pay for its shipping. I've called about this so many times I'm not sure it's worth the frustration on my part & clearly they aren't concerned in resolving this issue. Good luck to anyone that uses this location. I would give it -5 stars if I could--terrible customer service. There is an African American lady who is always spoiling for a fight. I try staying quiet but today she went out of her way to being the best worker ever . She told me rudely that I needed to stick my labels on better. The problem is that she has to do another Amazon return when she would much rather sit around. I stayed quiet to avoid having to deal with her obnoxious self. So she rolls her eyes, sighs angrily, gets upset, and says WHATEVER. So uncalled for. And then, this older Caucasian woman comes and starts scolding me in front of all the other customers. Till, unpleasant AA woman admits to what she did ! That stopped the older woman in her tracks because she couldn't blame me anymore. Meanwhile, since I did not grovel at the feet of this AA Queen and did not treat her with the respect and honor that Her Highness deserved ( I stayed quiet), I was then accused of snatching the label instead from her rather than taking it. 15 times in a high screech. What a nasty unpleasant place ! Hope it closes down. Will call UPS. read more

This UPS store location has been like a beacon in the night during the pandemic. With all of us buying more and more online, lots of packages are coming and going; oftentimes, this means returning items to our old friendly behemoth, Amazon.com The level of convenience of the no-box, no-label, needed returns to Amazon via UPS is amazing and so boojey. We are spoiled. I'm serious; we can get our stuff within two hours and then just drop it off for an instant refund in many cases. What this means is that the onus is on the small UPS stores to handle these often ridiculous and numerous returns. I've seen people bring in an open box that was rather large, scan a QR code, and leave the UPS store. Thanks to their contract with Amazon, they take returns without packaging and ship them back en masse to Amazon. This policy and ease of process is amazing to the point of maybe we should feel a little guilty about how good we have it. As far as this store, over the last two years or more they have been nothing but courteous and patient in my experience. It's conveniently located in 'downtown' Hayward too; what's even better is that the parking lot is close to the front door. Employees have usually had masks on and there is a plastic barrier to protect everyone. I do wish they would prop the door open though--it would be safe for covid. I would say this UPS store location is a vital part of the neighborhood matrix in Hayward. The employees could probably use bonuses and some thanks too. read more

I come here whenever I have something that needs to be returned. It is always a quick in and out. They scan the code I received via email, the take the box, they give me a receipt and I'm outta there. They are always pleasant and courteous. Parking is also a breeze. read more

My husband and I had to get a new Comcast box because we were not able to stream Disney Plus on the old, so I came here to return the old box. I had a prepaid label from Comcast and she just scanned it in, handed me the receipt and I was done in 2 minutes. As of right now it's in San Pablo, going back to one of Comcasts return centers tomorrow in Oregon. Being that the closest Xfinity store is in Union City and I don't have the time to travel that far so they made it handy for me to return equipment. read more

So I came in last minute, and I was concerned that my package won't be delivered on time missing by one or two days, and one of the employees literally ran out to put my package on the delivery truck right before it leaves. I've been to this UPS location several times throughout the years. Most of the staff are helpful, or at least will scan in a return without much negative interactions. The exception being the black lady who seems inconvenienced by having to scan in yet another amazon return. You'll hear the loud breathing sigh and get the occasional eye roll. The Castro Valley store appears to be ran by the same owner but the staff there is much nicer. read more

I always get great service at this UPS location. I want to give a shout out for great service to Donna Outing at store # 22568 Mission Blvd Hayward CA. She was doing all humanly possible and gave superb service to me and the approx 6 other customers who were in the store when I was. The UPS driver Scott Bryant, came into the store to pick up packages. He showed professionalism while waiting for Donna to check in the packages. He also was helpful to customers by loading packages which were ready to go on the truck. Awesome service by these two employees. read more

She dismissed my issues and spoke to me in a rude, condescending manner. Her unpleasant attitude made me decide to leave the store rather than continue dealing with her. All of the sales associates at this UPS Store location are courteous, efficient and professional. I come in frequently to make multiple student copies of lessons. The copy machines are always functioning and stocked with plenty of paper. Although I make my own copies, I have witnessed each employee gently assist other customers who are not as familiar with copy machines. I came to the store to ship something. I bought the box and the fillings so my item gets delivered intact. I was handed the tape and none of the ladies that were there mentioned something about being charged for 3 PIECES OF TAPE. Anyways, I used the 3 pieces of tape and paid. When I go to my car I notice an extra charged in my receipt and went back and ask them. They said it was for the service provided. I was like what service? Because I'm the one who packed my item not you guys. One of the ladies started getting heated when I was telling her that she did not picked my items I did and if I new that they would charged me $5 to use 3 pieces of tape I would've go to my car and got my own tape. I see on yelp that most UPS stores have mediocre reviews, I didn't really understand why until I started to use this store specifically more frequently than others. It's close to my work and I have to go there to pick up specific packages as well as doing my normal Amazon returns. For me, it's hit or miss with getting help from a staff person in a good mood or in a not-so-helpful grumpy mood LOL. When trying to return Amazon products, this site does not offer free returns. Most other UPS stores, you are able to "just give staff the product" and they will package and create a label and you're done! Nope not this site, which is fine....amazon clearly reports that not all UPS sites participate. What sucks is "HOW" the staff here respond to customers when they ask. How they replied to me as well as others i witnessed. Super rude and at times, disrespectful! If you absolutely have to use this company to drop off your Amazon packages, simply just print the barcode and return slip and tape it to your package. Yes you have to provide your own package and label...They will just scan it and take the package from you. To be honest, I wish there was a different UPS store that we could use more frequently because more times than others, I get staff that aren't helpful, lazy or just grumpy in general. Updated 3.13.2020------------------------- I found this to be a bit odd and oddly coincidental. We had an overnight package arrive Wednesday 5 PM and was not able to pick up the following day Thursday. I came in Friday morning a.m. and requested to get my package. I showed them my phone screen with the barcode. The African-American older lady walked around a wall and came back and said she couldn't find my package. I mentioned politely that my UPS email says it was confirmed and dropped off at 5 PM. It also said that it will keep my package there for 72 hours before getting sent back. She went on the computer and reported that she would like to see my first and last name. I reported my name and she looked at me and said, "Aren't you the guy who left us JUST 2 stars?" I thought that to be very odd and uncomfortable but I replied with saying yes I am the one. I then asked why is this bad? I am only reporting whites my experience was and it's the truth. Business owners and management use these reviews to help him prove or continue their great customer service or offering. While she was typing she simply said, that the package was refused and sent back to sender. I didn't argue or show any concerns but I refreshed my UPS app and it NOW READ, Item refused!!!!!!!!! She literally lied and said it wasnt on site, then changed it's status. I work in social services with the homeless population here in the city of Hayward. The overnight packages are gift cards that we give to those who volunteer and beautify our city for HOURS EVERYDAY! These AMAZING team members pick up trash, clean the sidewalks and streets and parking lots and for their service and efforts, we pay these homeless volunteers these stipends. So these individuals can keep their disability or Social Security without getting hit with deductions. As you know if you're on unemployment or any type of government aid, you're not allowed to work. They use the stipends for immediate needs such as diapers, groceries or gas for their vehicles. So we missed payday for these hard-working vulnerable people because of THIS STORE. I now changed my rating to 1 star but wish there was ZERO stars. Things happen for a reason, although we missed the payday for this VULNERABLE group, we are able to expedite another order and have it dropped off to a new drop off location. IMAGINE YOU MISSING PAYDAY during this Covid 19 Corona Pandemic?! We are no longer using this place and I recommend that you don't support this site. Hopefully their management will see if this review and make changes in order to serve the public more respectfully and with more compassion and higher level of customer service. Went to the UPS store today to pick up some boxes. I was carrying my sleeping baby and realized I parked way too far away to carry all 5 boxes and my son. Kimberly, the lady ringing me up was super helpful! She carried all 5 of the boxes all the way to my car, and even loaded them up for me ! I'm so thankful she was there and willing to help me out. On the morning of 8/25 0930-1000 we dropped off a package and asked for a receipt, today we realized it was never shipped but unfortunately the receipt was lost. We always wait for packages to be scanned and receipt to be printed, we heard something scan but apparently not our package. I suspect another package was scanned instead of ours and our package has gone missing. I'm sorry to say, but I suspect theft at this location. To everyone that uses this location, please make sure you verify the receipt has the tracking number on the receipt before you leave or simply avoid this location. Unfortunately I can't report this to the police since I lost the receipt, and even if I had it I'm sure the correct tracking info wouldn't be there anyways. read more
