Sam is a really honest, genuine, and helpful person! It was my first time coming to this print shop because I'm originally from Southern California. I loved my local print shop back home, so I looked to Yelp to guide me to another print shop in the Hayward area and led me to Minuteman Press. I needed to print out my portfolio in color and have it bound, which is exactly what Sam did for me. He gave me different options on paper and spiral colors. For binding, they only have the comb-binding, which looks so professional and well-done. For my 24 paged portfolio that was beautifully bounded and printed in color, my total came out to be $15, which was much less than what I expecting. The quality and service here are amazing, and I can't wait to come back to print out other projects! I went here to get a book for school. One star simply because it gets the printing job done. But oh my.. i thought before ive experienced bad service, but this was in its own category of badness. when i entered the shop, the girl (middle 20s) was talking on her cell phone. As if she didnt see me, she continued to talk to her friend for a couple more minutes and then, finally, said; "I have to go. There's someone here." Ummmm.. no kidding? She then hurries off and gets the printing going. While she was printing them, she calls back that same friend (i think) on her phone again and ranted how tired she is at work and how she needs a better job. Again, even when the printing was done and i gave her my payment, she was still on the freaking phone! And at last, she literally THROWS the book on the counter and went to the backroom to continue her conversation. No eye contact, no smile, no thank you, not even a "There you go." Hands down, the most obnoxious service I have ever experienced. read more

These guys are great! I called them and asked about getting print and lamination services. What I was asking for was a little hard to explain over the phone, but Joe was smart and he figured out what I needed. Sam even came out to my office to verify our order, to make sure they knew what I wanted (thickness of the lamination and size of product). Paid a visit to Sam on Monday, and had my 3-piece wedding invitation suite printed by Wednesday. They were super thorough, responsive and patient with my millions of questions. So Hayward has 5 printing businesses in a 1 square mile area. I choose Minute man because I am a support you small business type of guy and I wasn't disappointed. Minuteman is all about service. Sam the owner took over from the previous owner last year and he told me his number one focus is the customer. I dropped of my flash drive told him what I wanted ran a few errands, came back and it was done beyond my expectations. So far in 2016, Minuteman Press has printed 2 full- color prayer cards and a 16-page misalette with full-color cover pages for my parish' golden jubilee ( Our Lady of Good Counsel in San Leandro). Sam and Joe submitted very reasonable cost estimates, printed my projects beautifully, and delivered them ahead of deadline. Joe also helped me make a vector file of our jubilee logo. I need to see them soon for a couple of new projects: logo, letterhead, and envelopes. No wonder the person who recommended Minuteman Press to me recommended it highly. Sam and Joe are great. I went to this location looking for some help in printing on a specific type of paper (Raw Grocer Kraft) and both Sam and Joe were extremely helpful in assisting me. They offered a couple test prints to ensure quality printing as well as some explanation on their printers and why Ink Jet printers wouldn't work for that type of paper. They are both very knowledgable and kind individuals. Needless to say, the printing was successful and everything looked great. I was very happy with the pricing as well.
