    My frame and the ridiculously large box I was charge which could cause a way higher shipping cost "due to size" as Anju explained.

    This was the most absurd UPS experience I have had. I feel this was a prank. I had a somewhat small frame to mail out to NY, the customer service agent advised me it would be $33 to pack - which was totally fine and I approved. What I didn't know is that she would proceed do use an extremely oversized box, which caused shipping to be over $80. Like spending more than $100 for a LIGHT and small picture frame would make sense. She charged me up front for packing so basically I wasted $33 because let's be honest - what am I going to do with a box this size. Clearly the box could and should have been adjusted for that picture frame. Other UPS Stores have resized boxes for me to adjust appropriately. - I want my money back and her apology or please teach her a little customer service because as I stressed that was too large she insisted it had to be that way... C'mom, I have never bought a picture frame and arrived in a box like that! What a joke but it's my pocket that was affected.

    This is the worst UPS store I've been to. UPS has an arrangement with Amazon prime to return packages. I've returned packages prior without issue at other UPS stores. This particular UPS store tries to get an extra dollar out of you for: taping your package? The cost of tape sure is high these days. I returned an item in both the original shipping box and the original manufacturer box, and the item was still in the even in its original plastic because you could see it was broken without removing it. Upon my return I was told that since the QR code 'stated that it needed to be packaged by the customer' and 'it wasn't taped' that I was to be charged a packaging fee. I explained that I returned this exact item at another UPS store last week and they didn't charge me. I was told 'it wasn't personal' and 'they were just following instructions' and I even pulled up the instructions which made no mention of needing to be taped and they still insisted they were 'following inductions'. Think about all the packages they get returned everyday and how much money they make on this BS fake rule. Attaching the return instructions from Amazon just to reiterate all that needs to be included with this 'QR code' is THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING. Just a cheap way to make money on people who are already using gas and their own time to return items rather than making Amazon pick them up.

    Quick service. Always kind and responsive here, even when the line is long. Store is always clean. Great location. Highly recommended.

    Hello, I have a complaint about an OfficeMax location that I just left and how unfriendly and…read morepretty much rude my husband and I were treated. I would think that employees would be more customer service oriented and appreciative of having a job at a brick-and-mortar location or any job at any location............and just appreciative that they have a job at all. I am in Glendale AZ and was at the Office Max location below: Office Max Store #6171 Store #6171 7974 WEST BELL ROAD GLENDALE, AZ 85308 (623) 486-2444 3:30 p.m. Mountain time on Wed, 4/9/2025. My husband and I came into the store to see if this location had a TSA Pre-check service (as some locations have discontinued that service). I asked the cashier (did not get her name) and she said they did have that service, but I had to make an appt. I asked if we could make that appt and she said "you have to make it on line, you cannot make it in person", I looked away at my husband and then she said..........do you want to know how to make it online? It wasn't "Well we cannot make it in person as you have to fill out an application online to reserve your spot" (giving me an explanation of why as that would have been nice to know details) The issue I had was the curtness and her attitude as if I was interrupting her when there was no one in the store). I was quite shocked...........to say the least. The attitude was not at all warranted nor was it provoked. I literally just looked at my husband (who was standing behind me away from the cashier) what happened to "Customer Service" There was literally no one in the store at all except 4 employees that I see up at the front of the store. Her attitude was one of......that I was interrupting her and pretty much made us feel like we were bothering her. I came home and called another location near me in Peoria, AZ and I was met with (on the phone) a very nice and giving employee that explained to me why I couldn't make an appt. over the phone or just coming in. Now that is an employee that is going places but the lady at the location above should not be in a customer service position. I did make an appt at the Store #6758 25340 N LAKE PLEASANT PARKWAY PEORIA, AZ 85383 (623) 376-2320 I believe that employee's name was Abigale that helped me on the phone and will go to Office Max again but Never to the location on Bell RD as this is not the 1st time that location has not been a place that I feel comfortable at (not welcoming AT ALL). The 1st time was awhile ago and didnt really think it would happen again but since it did, twice at the same location says alot for either the Management that employ's and trains and/or management themselves for not making sure "checking in" to make sure their employees represent the brand in a Welcome environment. I am sure that is what they get paid for, right?
