I've come to this location multiple times and I find the staff to always be really friendly, efficient, and helpful.

Little bit disappointed. I called around 12:50pm to check when their notary will be in and the lady on the phone said around 2pm they are leaving for their lunch right now. I walked half a mile around 2pm to be told the notary is still on lunch for another hour....!!!! So definitely not waiting another hour I will take my business to bizzybox instead. Bad location avoid if possible, store manager Christopher is a bit off. I thought he might have a disability at first so tried to be nice but he came across argent and kept almost yelling as talking, had to take a few steps back not to loose my hearing. Parking is hard to find and kinda small store. Won't be visiting this location again. read more

UNRELIABLE Alliyah- February 20th 2023 5pm Reserved a mailbox for my unit 249 had let it lapse due to unforeseen circumstances. Called in and they drafted a document for my rental for me to come in Monday (Today) Came in and they now said my box is no longer available and they said No small boxes are available anymore and the only box available is big boxes. Had called in specifically because of by this and they had said they have a lot of boxes available so now I feel they are lying to me to get me to buy the bigger box. I have business mail tied to this mailbox. read more

This location is on the ground floor of an apartment complex alongside a Color me mine. There are two UPS locations near me...this one in Encino and the other one down the street in Sherman Oaks. They are both good but have their pros and cons. This one seems to have faster service because it is not as popular as the other location. I think it's because people only utilize their street parking instead of the free underground parking lot they have. It's always a quick in and out for me when I come to this location. The service is fast and friendly. As for COVID regulations, there weren't social distancing markers on the ground so at one point I decided to wait outside until one of the previous customers left and there was more room inside. read more

I stopped by as I was in the area to get some information about renting a small mail box after mailing some items out. I was impressed how fast the employees were taking care of all the customers ahead of me and I didn't have to wait a second to get to my turn although I saw 10 people ahead of me when I literally got to the store. Everyone seemed friendly, Knowledgeable, and quick with taking care of us, but I never felt being rushed or anything at all. I went there yesterday but my phone was out of juice so I couldn't pull up the QR code for my Amazon return. They said no problem and gave me a cordless charger to put enough juice to pull up the QR. Saved me a trip back and they are very friendly. My preferred location. read more

Although I like the UPS Store in general and this one is the closest to where I live, this is one of my least favorite UPS Store locations and I try to avoid it when I can. 1) The parking situation is not good: Street parking is prohibited after 3:30 PM, but it's difficult to find parking near the location earlier in the day as well. They do have underground parking available at no charge, but it's very inconvenient if you are transporting any packages, as it requires you to walk a fair distance and up a long flight of stairs to get to the UPS store. If you have several packages, you will be making multiple trips, and if you have any large or heavy packages, it can be pretty challenging. 2) It's impossible to reach the store by phone. I needed notary services and wanted to confirm there was a notary available that day. I tried to call repeatedly but could not get through. Ultimately, I had to drive to the store in order to get an answer. Unfortunately their notary was not around, so it was a wasted trip that could have been avoided if it had been possible to speak with them by phone. read more

This ups is somewhat unprofessional. When I call them for different needs and ask the times they are open or when their services are available such as notary, mailbox, etc, they give me different times every single day. Basically whatever serves their needs or their attitude. The girls are very nice in person and try to be personable. One thing I was extremely disappointed In was me asking about how the pricing goes for their military packages to be sent to ppo fpo and other addresses and their response is that they don't deal with anything military. On another occasion , this girl told me they would only put actual physical addresses for military which is against the law. So hey , if you are not military friendly be it but it's sad that you are representing UPS and you keep saying just go to the US post office. I have worked next to this store for 10 years and have experienced a wide variety of employees and customer service styles. Up until recently, the customer service has always been above average. Employees always greeted customers with a smile, joyful attitude, and the willingness to be of service. Now, the vibe is completely different and the customer service is sub par at best. The only time I am even greeted or acknowledged when walking in the door is by Bella. The other newer female employees are not a reflection of the amazing UPS store I used to know and give off a very negative energy with attitude that says "I hate my job". I will not be using this location anymore for my shipping and marketing needs. I was recently charged $3.85 to laminate 1 single piece of paper which is more than double the cost I used to pay. Also, if I wanted a crap customer service experience I would just go to the DMV which is full of miserable employees. During Covid, this location was very mindful of social distancing and mask wearing which I appreciated. That's not enough to keep my business, unfortunately. Update... After reading the response to my original review it is quite clear that they don't understand what my complaint is about. My complaint is/was not about the fact that they don't offer "free packaging" my issue is the fact that customer service there is absolutely awful now. Employees do not acknowledge your presence when you walk in the door, their energy is extremely low, give the feeling that they hate their jobs, and they are not helpful at all. So please, understand my frustration is not about UPS not being able to offer a "free packaging". In fact, it is quite laughable that's what was taken from my review. It is obvious that the manager/owners daughter Bella who was in store that day has told the person who runs this Yelp page about me coming in that day. I did ask Bella if they had any boxes laying around that I could use, but at no point did I express any frustration or complaint about them not having one. I asked her what days she usually works as I had previously gotten better service from her and would rather go in on days she is there. Not anymore. At no point did I mention I was upset because I was not offered free packaging, Bella. I was upset because the employee you had working the front desk by herself while you and the other workers were too busy chatting in the back while in plain site of customers waiting In line, was not a reflection of the great service I used to get at this location before ownership/management changed. I will not be returning to this location and have already taken my business elsewhere. Their attitude is great, they work quickly so that everyone can get in and out quickly, and it's a pleasure going in there compared to some of the other places. This is my favorite UPS store within a 10 mile radius. I drive out of my way to get to this location when there are 3 closer UPS store locations near me. Why? They have a parking garage, the store is always clean and not a total mess of packages like the other locations, the workers are nice and attentive. When i stop by to drop my amazon returns, i don't get glared at or told "we don't want your returns". One time, i walked in with an armful of packages that would require two trips. The attendant asked if i needed help getting stuff out of my car! I got it but i really appreciated the offer. If there is a line, it moves quickly and the staff tries to divide up the line so that any drop offs or pick ups are handled efficiently and quickly before the attendant gets assigned to help with more complicated transactions. Thank you to the staff and manager of this location for training well. Only comment would be the limited Saturday hours that catch me off guard but i get it. read more

2014 YELP 365 CHALLENGE - 109/365 Nice UPS Store! I normally don't go to UPS stores since they come to my work every day to pick up packages, but I had to mail my router back to ATT so I went to this store to do it. I recently cancelled my ATT U-Verse internet, so ATT pays for UPS to ship the equipment back to them. You just have to go to a UPS store to do it -- super easy! This UPS is pretty awesome because there is a FREE parking garage right next to it! It's not a HUGE garage, but it definitely works. If you can't find a spot down there, street/metered parking is also available. The store has all your typical mailing supplies. I noticed there were PO Boxes (I think?) at the back of the store. They also offer services to get your passport photo taken! When I came here, the guy knew exactly what to do when I brought my ATT equipment in. Apparently ATT only takes back the actual router, and not the cords or the extra generator/back-up battery. I need to figure out how to dispose of those...lol. Overall, easy process and was totally empty when I came in last night around 6:30pm! read more

They recently had the store deep cleaned and it is impeccable. During this covid time with so much uncertainty, I really appreciate that attention to detail. I've been living next door to this UPS for over a year. It's so convenient! I have no other choice, but to use it. Everyone is nice has excellent customer service EXCEPT for the older lady with glasses working there who is RUDE. On one of the days, before I could even finish asking her a question, she told me I needed an ID (no big deal). I went to go get it. I came back got in line again, a younger girl helped me and surprise no ID was needed. My advice would be for her to wait until the customer finishes asking the question and not cut them off. I have worked in retail, so I know it can be busy, but as an employee for a company you need to know how to treat ALL customers. She's been rude twice on two different occasions weeks apart. I don't know what her deal is. Besides her, everyone is friendly. The way employees should be to customers. read more
