Today (12/12/25) I watched the employee belittle a customer because she had her item in the wrong box. He told her that "She should know what a shipping box looks like" and if she doesn't switch the box that he will cancel the order in the system. Two weeks ago I was trying to ship something and I was requesting to have them pack it and ship it for me. The same guy that was working today told me that I "needed to use the self service kiosk". It shouldn't matter how many packages you receive in a day if you have a customer waiting at the counter the packages in the back can wait. This guy definitely doesn't have the composure to work in customer service! This will definitely be the last time I come here, it'll be worth the gas money to drive to Glenwood Springs and use the UPS store there. read more

Andrew, the new owner must step up and be a leader. I was in on Dec 15, the taller employee (not the other one whose name started with J" at around 8:30am had strong smell of marijuana. I was returning a corporate IT device and had UPS instructions that said "Instructions for the UPS Location" and was told to show as digital (phone) or printed copy. I showed the UPS employee the screen and explained the request. He snapped and said he didn't want to see my phone and "what you want?" I suspect he didn't know how to read which is why he didn't want to see the phone. He was hostile and told me I should leave and refused to read the UPS instructions intended for him. I recorded the exchange from that point given it was so bizarre. We finally made progress when I had to tell the impaired employee how to work the computer. Andrew, the owner should see this and take action. As a small business owner, I would want to know who is responsible for my store and assets. I am also planning to share this and the recording with UPS corporate as they may benefit from learning how their brand is being maintained in Eagle county. read more

I stopped by yesterday afternoon. And I spoke to the manager there. With the new owner and new policies. We were informed late January mid February that we need to show proof physical address, that's great no problem right. My husband and I both showed are drivers license and his car registration. Which I only provided proof of paperwork with our physical address when we bought our house. They scanned it and accepted it we signed the form they gave us and that was it. On 3/5/25 I received a call stating that I only had my license on file, weird. I called back to explain to them my husband and I went in together and signed a document. I told him that I can come by with the same document that I showed them the first time. and at that time I did not have a passport. So like I said in the beginning. was there spoke, to a young man. Show him the same document he then asked me my P.O. Box number which I did. That it falls under mortgage. He did say this should be good? I did tell him I did apply for a passport and it should arrive the end of April. Now my dilemma. I'm afraid that I will not be able to receive my mail or packages especially my passport arriving in a few weeks. Been receiving my mail there since 2015. I have no other way of receiving mail and not planning to open another P.O. Box which I'm pretty sure they will need proof with same documents. Please help a loyal customer. read more

I had problems with UPS home delivery so I decided to have overnight medication shipped to the UPS store in Edwards CO. I received an email stating my package had arrived, in the email it gave Adrian the name for proof of delivery to the store. Next I went to the store to get my package, You Guessed It, they could not find the package. I was able to speak directly to Adrian he was very nonchalant agreeing the package was delivered however it must gone out with someone else. Mind you this is medication I had overnighted. I had to return an Amazon package containing broken glassware that arrived at my residence in Edwards, CO. I requested a return and refund from Amazon and was immediately provided a digital bar code on my iPhone, which I was told I should show the clerk at the UPS Store. The instructions in the Amazon e-mail were clear:  "Bring the package to any UPS Store and show the clerk the digital bar code on my phone. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO PRINT A RETURN LABEL" Sure enough, I did not print a return label, but brought my package and iPhone with the digital bar code on it to this UPS location, only to be informed by the clerk that I'd have to print a return shipping label. He was complaining about the store's (UPS's?) shoddy technology that was "running too slowly". Bottom line, I had to return home with my package full of broken glass and print a return label and return to the store. I've been very frustrated by this store's past service as well. This isn't the first time I made the 30-minute round-trip trek to this location, only to leave without what I came in for and searching for an alternative. My wife suggested that I try the UPS Store in Avon, just 4 miles away. I checked its Yelp rating to discover a 2.5 star rating (vs this location that has a 1.5 rating). I'm speculating that store shares the same ownership as the Edwards store. This morning, I had to drive to Avon (8 miles further roundtrip) to do some grocery shopping. The Avon UPS Store is a block from the grocery store, so I brought my box of broken glass to that location, along with my now pre-printed return shipping label. This store is staffed with 2 clerks that seemed more experienced than the one in Edwards. I kept the printed return label in my pocket and, pretending I didn't already know the drill, asked what I need to do to return this box of glass. Not surprisingly, the clerk asked if I had the bar code on my phone to which I replied I did and showed him my phone. I asked what else do you need from me, and he replied, "just your box of broken glass". There you go. I inquired with the clerk in the Avon store if that location was owned by the same management as the UPS Store in Edwards. He reported that the stores in Edwards, Avon, Vail, and some others in Vail Valley and Summit County are all owned by a single management group. The lack of consistency and reliability is so disappointing, because I rely heavily on these businesses, especially the location in Edwards, living in a rural setting without home postal delivery. read more

I dropped a package last Thursday for Friday delivery in Denver; tracked it through Monday morning and just kept getting "label has been created"...no pickup or delivery information. I called twice and was put on hold 10 minutes, no one picked up. Drove down today and the package was never even boxed..."we are waiting for bubble wrap"...seriously!!?? Why take a package, charge for next day delivery knowing you couldn't even box it?? Never using this store again. read more

Avoid this store like the plague. Horribly run. Employees can be good, but some can be rude, even apparently high on several occasions. High turnover and as a result often ill-trained or even incompetent. Never know when it is going to be open or not. Manager one of the rudest I've ever encountered, which probably accounts for most or all of the above. Suggest Avon UPS, or even USPS is far better. Given the other reviews on here (except the two obviously fake ones with a 5), all are 1's for this UPS store. They are great here . The mail system in this valley is the worst . That's not their fault or issue . If you can accept everything will arrive late they you'll be fine. They also pick up & deliver to physical addresses unlike USPS . Amazon returns are so easy here walk in scan your phone walk out done . Staff is really nice if you're nice to them . Worst ever! We are full time RVers and frequently have our mail forwarded to various UPS Stores without ever having a problem. We have documentation that this store had our package by September 9, 2021. We came in on September 4 to find the store closed (Friday before Labor Day) without any sign on the door. Came in on Tuesday and was told they us they were unable to give us our package as they had not had time to enter it into their system. I understand they had trouble with employees being sick, but they wouldn't even let me look through the 200 plus packages they had all over their store. We have to leave the area, and on the following Thursday I spoke with them, they had found the package but still couldn't forward to my new location. I have needed medications in this package and this created a major hassle for me. The young man I spoke to was nice enough, but his boss wouldn't allow him to help me in any way. I called The UPS store to make sure that they could accept delivery of a large rooftop cargo box and to check on the cost. I was told that they could accept it and that it would cost $10 The box was delivered Tuesday. I was notified Wednesday and it was picked up by 5PM that day. When I picked up the box they demanded $40. They didn't care that I had called previously to verify the cost. Their explanation was that it was so large and that it had been there for so long. Their attitude was not friendly. If you are reading this, I would recommend that you take the time to go to the Avon UPS store where they are much more friendly and stand by their word. I have used the Avon store a number of times without incident. read more

I was working in vail,,broke my phone dropped it off at a repair company,,things happened and I left CO for FL and forgot my broke phone,,Tried to get it sent and had some issues, repair shop could not mail it, UPS cant take an empty box into a business??? The WORST customer service. I wanted to print a label and was directed to pay $3 with my credit card to use the computer. Ok, fair enough. However, after printing my label and the receipt for $3, the associate told me I owed her $5 more. I asked why and she said $3 for the computer and $2 more for her to tape the box shut.
