This place use to have good to great customer service until they've replaced them with teenagers that wear sweatshirts and always just chitchatting. Absolutely these associates had personality and no customer service skills, and rude to their customers just by their remarks---no please no thank you. Doesn't UPS have uniform shirts just like FedEx? I understand that it's hard to find qualified associates nowadays, but the owners should at least get a minimum customer service skills with interpersonal communication at its minimal capacity. read more

Employees sitting on floor when I walked in, didn't stand up to greet me or asked if I needed help. When I asked question the employee got up off floor and felt like I was bothering them and didn't seem happy to help. The ladies and gentlemen working at the front were absolutely wonderful, very helpful, and kind. However, the air conditioner was turned off and it was sooo hot in there. When I asked about it they said that they are not allowed to turn it cooler. I had to contact Amazon while in there due to an issue with my label and I started feeling overheated and not great while being in there. I feel bad for the employees that have to work in such extreme conditions all day. Hopefully they are allowed breaks to hydrate and eat... Also, mold... like leaving the heat that high in Houston especially, mold is likely to start growing especially in the hvac system.... read more

Let's get into it! I'm always using UPS for one thing or another. This location like most I've gone to has friendly and helpful staff on site. They are always willing to lend a helping hand. The younger gentlemens that work here are always nice and polite. Yesterday there was one in training. I could tell he really wanted to learn to do his job right. I had no problem waiting while they helped him out. He kept apologizing but it honestly was no big deal and I showed him grace. I remember working as a teenager. I'm just happy these young men found good jobs! I appreciate this location employing these young adults!! Most recently I came here to return a few things to Amazon. The staff was more than helpful.  I wanted to tape the box together more. However,  the associate behind the counter said he would take care of it for me. I really appreciated that because I was kind of in a rush. I'm satisfied with the service I receive here. I will also have plenty more packages to send. So it's refreshing that the staff here is so helpful. read more

This UPS Store is advertised as being open on Sunday between 12-5PM. Went there at 12:45PM and the doors were locked but you can see workers inside. Despite waiting visibly outside and knocking, no one ever came to open the door. I guess, the employees got free hours that day. read more

Okay I've had issues with this location before but today was the last straw for me. Time for a review. Months ago I mailed some items to a friend in the panhandle. Brought them in, had it all calculated, and paid. It was damaged during shipment and it took weeks for them to get their act together and get the item costs refunded. They did refund it so I was going to let a wet dog lie. I've been here a handful of times and just haven't had a great experience. Usually everyone is smug and robotic for their job. I mean I get it, it probably can be mind numbing, what job doesn't have its moments. But just it's never been great customer service here. So this leads today! I had three, small, amazon returns that I had brought to have returned. Maybe 24 inches of tape between the three. Maybe 30. So let's call it 30. She asked if I needed any packing material, I said, nah not needed just amazon returns. Then she said well we have a convenience fee to tape boxes now, just so you know. Wait. What? I've done fedex stores, ups stores, mom and pops etc. you now charge for tape?! Okay fine, charge me the .25cents and let's get it on. Her reply was "1.50". So a quick google search shows you can get a 6 pack for 8.99. With great reviews. That's a 1.50 for an entire roll of packing tape. So they're literally charging you 81.90$ for their "convenience". Based on their rolls being 54 yards long. And assuming I was using 36 inches of tape. I absolutely hate being nickel and dimed. There are costs associated with running your business. Having tape available for boxes that are 1/2 taped is one of those costs of having your own business. So make your mind up for yourself. 81 dollars for "convenience"? read more

There were some complications with the file, which Nicole worked on and ultimately I had to re-create, but that led to success. During the process I interacted with the other 2 coworkers, and all are professional, personable and effective in performing their work. If the "line is out the door" it's because there are many customers that take advantage of the good service provided at this store. read more

***CUSTOMERS BEWARE*** Please avoid doing your Amazon returns here. If desperate, remember to get a receipt at all times as the employees here do not seem to be honest workers. I have gone here a couple times to make my amazon return and didn't get my refund. First time it happened, my item was worth $180 - it was a label printer. I was foolish enough not to get a receipt as I was in a rush and there was a long line. Weeks later, I noticed my Amazon account says they haven't received the item. When calling the store, the manager there did not seem to care that they "lost my item" and told me to hash it out with Amazon. Luckily Amazon's customer service took care of it since it's never happened before. Second time I returned something valuable, I was smarter and got a receipt just in case. The item was worth $450 - a camera. It's been over a month now, and Amazon says item has not been received. Had to get my Christmas packages and cards out to have them arrive in time for Christmas. To be honest, I went to Post Net first because its closer to me, but they were actually closed!!! Anyway, I came to this UPS Store and, boy am I glad I did! There was a short line which I didn't mind because, well, it's Christmas. The young lady (Lilia) that helped us was AMAZING. She was thorough, knowledgable, and efficient. I'm done going to Post Net on Barker Cypress. I cannot believe they were closed on a Saturday with just 11 days until Christmas. I recently bought the new iPhone and it was shipped from China to my parents house in cypress instead of where I live in California due to it having to go to the primary on the account. I didn't think it would be such a big deal and honestly expected to pay up to 50$ to ship it to me. Right after the package was delivered by UPS from China my mom took it straight to the store unopened to resend. First of all I priced everything out on UPS website, 2Day air would be 43$ with insurance up to 1200$. At this store they first quoted me 75$ for that. Between what appeared to be the manager and a new worker we were given about 5 different quotes because they couldn't accurately figure it out. I finally decided to ship standard with insurance and was told 47$... ok great. THEN they said never mind we have to open your box that just came FROM CHiNA and repack it to make sure it doesn't break. The packaging alone would cost 25$!!!! Everyone knows how small the Apple phone boxes are and the original box was a tiny bit larger than this. They wanted to put my box it came in into a medium sized box with loads up bubble wrap so then naturally now I'm paying more because it's a medium sized box! The final quote was almost 100$ which is insane. I understand you have to verify what you're insuring but don't inflate the shipping cost to what you want. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE. For the record the ups store down the road by the outlet mall didn't rip me off and I paid 47$ for 3day with insurance in my original box. Also, know that all these stores are individually owned and the mark up is about 50%. Just buy the label on line then drop it off at a ship center. read more

I only go to this store because it's close to my house. The people are rude (although some friendly people seem to get scared off pretty quickly), and charge $1 for the Amazon "no packaging required" service if you don't tape your own box. They are slow, the line is always out the door, and they aren't super friendly. We dread having to pick up a package because we know it will take at least 30 minutes. This location is terrible. The employees pick and choose who to help and use COVID-19 as an excuse. For example, if you are returning one box from ATT (as their agreement) they will take it.
