So this is for UPS and any delivery service that engage in this practice. This review is not specific to this location...nor neccisarily this deliver service only..this in this case is the one I used this time. Not this specific location.. My review should have zero baring on this location...but instead intended to be viewed as a personal experience and opinionated understanding of a particular aspect of service and pricing structure of that service and not the entire business as a whole... You are made to have to choose specific location here on yelp in order to do the review... If this is avoidable..please advise.. But but the intention is of a broad review of pretty unscrupulous business practice pertaining to patticular shipping options by shipping companies... Normally I love UPS..STILL DO and will continue using them they are exellent service... For anything larger I am getting if its them or fedex..UPS ALL THE WAY.. But I will in all honesty revert back to USPS as I have always used prior to be honest for all other deliveries after this burn.. But any ways they can do without this unscrupulous practice. The USPS seem to be hands down the most honest and reliable option..DHL is pretty good too..... Any business that opens a store front and or operates on any given day is essentially a business day for that business..regardless if its a Saturday or Sunday and traditionally those are not LABELED..as business days. So here is the scam. UPS offers next day shipping... next day air saver... now you pay 48.00 for the air saver...at least thats what I paid the on line business for the shipment with UPS. The item that was just a few dollar more.... you are sold by the title Next day shipping and they chose to stick by next business day as further descibed aparently as I went back in shock and awe after it became a reality that I am actually getting it on Monday between 1 and 5... It wasn't one of those things where the system updates at standard info and intervals but upgrades and deviations are internal and on the ground... Meaning the driver has it and about to deliver they just dont have the time for every intricate updates so they leave it standard..and then once scanned at delivery...all of a sudden you get a.. Item have been delivered!.. But it said up until then Monday between 1 and five. Not the case here aparently... But that Happens alot..especially my experience with usps...and their updates with tracking... But here we are Monday through friday..where in my case..I guess monday was the day for next day after paying 48 dollars for what I thought logically would be today..Saturday...even though they are open for business and delivering all day Saturday and suday for ever...why then pay on a FRIDAY...at 10 am...from a store on line...choose ups air saver NEXT DAY...not presented in title as NEXT BUSINESS DAY for 48.00?!... So the scam is all Friday order with next day expectation and payment is actually paying for standard ground delivery times 3...to get it on Monday between 1 and 5...so you are robbed financially and incovenienced further with waiting all day ON A BUSINESS DAY when some of us need to be at work. For that package that could have easily been delivered next day that THEY ARE OPEN for business.... many like myself I imagine assumed the saver part excludes the 24 hr and puts it at 1 to 5 next day and not by noon as USPS does.. it excludes the reusable package and instead a disposable one time use package.. BUT NOT PAY FOR NEXT DAY to get it THREE days later is whats happening..they are making a mint off friday orders choosing next day saver... You are better off folks doing USPS free deliver from on line stores..while free delivery we all should know is a marketing gimmic.. No such thing as free shipping ever.. regular mail..or UPS regular gound for a few bucks and expect it when ever...or..USPS 1 to 3 days.. read more

This location is the best UPS Store ever. The people here are so friendly that they're just like buddies after only a few visits. If you rent a box, you can call and check to see if you have mail first instead of making the trip. This store also has a very convenient recycling container of the secure shredding variety right next to the boxes so you can safely do away with your junk mail. There have been a few packages I've shipped out that have had suspiciously high price markups but I have usually turned a blind eye. Yesterday I was looking to send out a USPS First Class flat pack that I knew required 2.24 in postage..... The store told me it was going to be THIRTY FIVE FREAKIN DOLLARS. They charge $.50 for a single piece of tape. This is a store policy. I think this is a bit absurd. He asked me if I wanted to know the reason behind it. I said "no". He proceeded to let me know anyway. It is due to the economy and that they get asked for that piece of tape 50 times a day. Guess what? So does every other store that doesn't charge for tape. Also... $.50 for a 12-inch piece of tape? I did a quick check, I can get a 21-yard roll of tape for $6. Doing some math... 21 yards = 756 inches = 63 12inch strips. Their profit for the roll of tape? Probably around $30. So yea, that totally seems like you are just offsetting the cost of the tape, due to the economy. You aren't nickel and diming people. Nope, not at all. read more

From start Rich was very prompt to respond emails and proved competitive shipping quote. They picked up my items, packed and shipped it exactly as we spoke with no delays. Packing was done really well, they used lots of bubble wrap and beans for fragile items we were shipping. Everything came in perfect shape. As soon as I walked in the lady behind the counter stated that I should leave the package over on the counter and take a picture of the tracking number because she was busy.
