    The UPS Store 3065 - Requested business cards on May 9th and on May 10th I sent the back of the card with the logos for the UPS Store Suite to work with. I hear nothing for days, I keep calling about my business cards because days go by and I hear nothing from the UPS Store Suite 3 in Cathedral City. I finally get an email after I kept inquiring over the phone. So finally, they send me the proposed business card and they asked for approval of the card that they sent me, however, the font was wrong and had no logos or the small print. They now finally they have it correct but no back of the card was sent to me for my approval. I inquire but they kept telling me the back of the card was not requested on the original order. I asked a second time do please go ahead and do the back as well since I sent the logos the next day. They kept saying is was not part of the original order. For the third time, I said can you guy's do it? I called multiple times today and no answer. I drove to the store, I asked to speak to the manager or whoever was in charge, the employee states the owner is here. I speak to her, the "owner" and I explain how patient I have been in waiting for my business cards... and I kept getting getting emails saying the back of the card was not requested! Are you serious!! I asked the owner if she could move forward from being petty and do the back of the business card. I said if you can not make my business card then I will take my business somewhere else who can. She said to take my business somewhere and that she was sorry but that she could not. If she could not do the back of my business card then why waste my time (16 days later) to tell me she could not perform. I should have known better in 2019, they messed up my decal (magnet) from the side of my door misspelling the name of the city of Coachella to "Cochella". I will NEVER give Store #3065 Suite 3 in Cathedral City UPS Store my business again. My experience was and is horrible. Realtor friends never come here because they have poor customer service and they do not acknowledge some emails. EXTREMELY disappointing having to waste my time with unprofessional owners and employees here. The owner should be ashamed of running the store. Honesty is the best policy if you can not perform requests for your clients. ZERO STARS!!

    Avoid this UPS store at all costs! Especially for notary work. Needed one notary, no other…read morecustomers in store, was told to sit while I waited for him. With no urgency, came over and asked for ID which was already on table along with document notary section. Asked me what the document was, I turned to first page, for him, so he could read it and he told me to read it to him. Perplexed I said "you can read, can't you?".....being that I too have been a notary for over 24 years and never once have I ever required a signer to tell me the name of the document! As far as I know, that's not a requirement to notarize. He didn't like my comment and said he would not do the notary for me. All I know is that he must be on a power trip or something and that my opinion of UPS stores in general has been solidified by disappointment. I am acutely aware of the notary requirements in the state of california. I don't need you, to try and "school" me on the do's and dont's and apparently it is crystal clear why your employee is as they are because they must have learned from you. Courtesy and communication are key in doing a notary of which your employee had none. Mask my review with regurgitated notary handbook verbiage all you want. It doesn't make your store or its employees any better than I originally stated.

    I haven't spent much time at a staples. The occasional pop in for something here and there. More…read morelikely once or twice a year or even a few years. I needed to pick up some filing folders. Well, I didn't know if it's a thing now or it's just this location but they had party city inside it. It's a small little section with mainly balloons and some party supplies. It's somewhat a good concept...lol... Work supplies and party supplies all together. The store itself is decent in size. Massive parking lot with the strip mall. But the whole layout of the place is a bit different. They have pretty much everything we needed and then some. It's like one isle I'll pick up some pens and paper, the next is a printer and then there's cleaning supplies and laundry detergent. A mosh posh of everything. Another one stop shop. Then you have some things that looks like it's been there since the store opened. Old furniture that they're selling. And equipment that seen better days. Loads of the boxes were pretty dusty without even touching them. You could see it. Clearly when walking by. I mean, they have what I needed which is great. It's not a place I would come on the regular but it does work. Staff were all pretty friendly.

    I placed a pickup order online. The store responded promptly and had my item ready for pickup very…read morequickly. That part was great. I arrived at the store with three tasks to accomplish: 1) An Amazon return 2) Pickup my order 3) Recycle some ink cartridges When I arrived I looked for the UPS counter. On that counter was taped a message saying go to text services. When I got to tech services, there was no one at the counter and a line of five people waiting for services only one did Amazon returns. There was no one at that station. We all waited long enough that at least one person gave up and left. Finally, a person came over from the checkout area and started handling things as quickly as he could. When I reached the desk I told him that I had these three tasks to accomplish and he very efficiently handled all three. The reason for my less than wonderful review is not the fault of the clerk, who did his job as effectively as he possibly could, but of store management that understaffs their checkout and tech services area while people are standing around in the print services area. Bad management.
