My boyfriend and i run an online store where we sell lots of collectibles, skateboards, clothing etc. I'm constantly have to ship out different items and Postal Connection has been SO amazing with helping me ship everything with NO problems. One time I had to ship out a wresting mat which seemed impossible for me to find a box for and the Postal Connection clerk at the Indio location helped me find the perfect box no problem. AMAZING customer service from that young man along with everyone at the La Quinta Cove location. I know they have had some new hires which have been super sweet along with the Owner who gave me such good customer service i continue to come back to that store. Was having a problem with my scanner at home needed to get documents scanned. Service was amazing and fast.

Unfortunately, I got no service. I sent two emails inquiring about their Services, costs and just so I could set up a personal mailbox or private mailbox for my business with no reply. One voicemail and no response. I ended up going with another company and using them. I would've loved to have used this company being so close but I guess that's not in the cards. Yelp asked me what they could improve I would say response times. Or responses is altogether considering I never got either. My emails now a month old with no response and my phone call which was two weeks old no response. Maybe they're just too busy and or have all the customers they want or need. I'm not sure. Been coming here for years and it's always a rip off, but today was the most egregious. I told Crystal (Krystal?) I didn't need to print anything today-- just scan a document to my email. She said sure and we went to the printer, put my papers in there, I typed in my email address, and she hit send. Done. I asked if she needed to charge me for the service-- they usually don't charge the fee times I have just needed to scan something-- and she said yes. $13!!!!????? THIRTEEN. DOLLARS. She wanted $13 to scan a document to my email address. I explained I would not be paying that ridiculous fee, and she should have quoted that price up front if she wanted to charge that much. She stated I can't return to their store again to scan documents. I let her know I will never come back to her store for any reason. That is an insane price to charge for a 13 second service that used no supplies. A dollar, maybe? $13 is crazy and she was completely rude about it, to boot. Customer service here is often terrible and they overcharge for everything. Drive the few extra minutes to get to one of the many alternatives to this place and save yourself a headache. read more

I had a package and had attempted to print label at home but it didn't work. The post office would not help and print and suggested postal connection. Lady was so friendly and helpful, such a pleasure. I wish I'd asked her name because all my stress melted. It took less than a minute and it was ready to go. There was no one in the store, so no wait but we need to keep them in business. read more

On Friday, I sent a 2 lb package, 8"x8"x8", from La Quinta to Belen, (Albuquerque area), NM. This business charged me $335 FedEx for overnight delivery which was actually delivered on Monday evening. They charged me for a box larger than used. When I called, Liz, the owner, said that was the customary charge for FedEx delivery. The total for delivery, box and tape charge was $348. I think it was excessive. I live in La Quinta and like to support local businesses, however, I won't be doing business with this store again. read more

The Washington Street location referred me to their 78580 Hwy 111 location next to Stater Bros. They couldn't fulfill my print job either BUT Christine was beyond a five star rating. She understood my request and referred me, rather took my phone and set the whole job up with a proper architectural printing place close by. Your one stop shop for regular US postal delivery FedEx you name it. they're open when the regular post office isn't open and very accommodating. I love that they will quote you every option available. Because they are so patient with us , this is the only place we go to now. You can even drop off your UPD packages here. They are very helpful and you can rent a U-Haul here as well. read more

A warning to all about this business especially the elderly (half of their business). California has issued a statewide order making it law to wear a mask due to Covid 19. This establishment is breaking the law and putting people in danger. Both workers had no masks on the few times ive been in. They're not taking this serious. read more

This place is awesome. Mary has helped me a couple times now in past visits. She's professional and very friendly. I needed about 19 documents printed and came here. Thank god for our neighborhood "Postal Connection" (near the Pizza Hut in LQ Village Shopping Center), because they are always helpful and convenient......and just today saved me over a $100+ in shipping costs on a single package. I love our friends at USPS station in LQ Cove but I am not sure they would have the time (with line of customers rolling their eyes) to reconfigure a package, rate/offer a lot of options, and personally repack and tape an oversized pain-in-the-ass package with a good attitude----all things done expertly by Gina today. I should mention when we pulled up to park. we saw Gina working on wrapping an entirely full pallet of goods for a customer who hired her to handle it all. Postal Connection offers a ton of services (PO Box rental, shipping/freight cost experts, packing, a bit of retail shopping with various supplies, gift items, and even things like copying keys and laminating...oh, and selling See's Candy for school fundraiser). Gina and the Postal Connection team excel at coming up with shipping options/rate comparisons from the major carriers USPS,UPS, FedEx so you choose best carrier at lowest rate. They also can help check off many to-do list of tasks with a smile and a good attitude. It's good to know they are there. read more

I sent a package via UPS on March 11, 2021 due to arrive Tuesday, March 16, 2021. I tried tracking it and it never showed anything more than a label had been generated. On Tuesday March 16th I went into Postal Connection to inquire. The girl had no information and since she did not generate the label advised me to see if it was delivered later in the day and get back tomorrow when the girl who generated the label was in. In the meantime I called UPS and they told me it was a problem with Postal Connection. I went in the next day and the girl said she would look into it, file a claim and get back to me by the end of the day. She never did. Today, March 18th I called and the girl who answered said she had no information and the girl who generated the label would be back Monday. I called UPS, and they said they would help me but needed a Pickup Reference Number from Postal Connection. Postal Connection refused to give me the number and said they would be filing a claim. These are DNA swabs which need to be at the lab. I have no idea when or if this will be handled. I don't know what to do. If I order new swabs and the originals get there I will be out hundreds of dollars and the original swabs may already be compromised. I would not trust them with anything. I also returned a cell phone to QVC on March 8th again through Postal Connection. It is now March 18th. QVC said a label had been generated but still no phone. They said to give it a few more days which I will but I am still leary of this service from this particular Postal Connection. I had been there several months ago and wasn't happy with the attitude of the person there when I was having copies made but gave it another chance. I feel if a business doesn't value me as a customer I will certainly not be there to give them my business and when they purposely won't be helpful I will write a review. read more

Several months ago, I asked the people at La Quinta Postal Connection to print some documents from an e-mail, since my own printer is broken. They printed the documents in color, even though I had specifically asked for black and white, but at the time I let it go because the overall price was still reasonable. The total price at the time was less than a dollar. Today, I needed to have another e-mail printed so again I turned to La Quinta Postal Connection, thinking the price would be reasonable. But this time, instead of just printing the e-mail as it was - which would have been perfectly fine, that's all I wanted - the girl instead clicked a link in the e-mail WITHOUT BOTHERING TO TELL ME that the simple act of clicking the link would entitle them to charge me over $3.00 for one measly black and white copy. Which is exactly what they did. According to her, because she clicked on the link that meant they got to charge me a whole bunch extra for "using" their computer - even though it took her all of 30 seconds. I had no choice but to pay. I am disabled and unemployed and unfortunately $3.00 is a significant amount of money to me. I NEVER would have agreed to let her click on the link instead of just printing the e-mail as it was if she had told me how much extra they were going to charge. And I will never do business with them again. read more

I ordered a pair of shoes and had them delivered to the Postal Connection. They called when they arrrived and we picked them up. They were a bit too small so I was emailed a return certificate from the seller. I took the shoes back to the Postal Connection, the gal there was so helpful. She was able to print my return label and she taped the box up! SHe was super helpful and very friendly. Will definitely continue to use their services! read more

Buyer beware! The shipping rates for UPS are outlandish. Will never use them again. Compare prices before using this store.
