I urgently needed to FedEx a passport to a friend in Hawaii. I was quoted a price of $157 for two day delivery. (I was expecting perhaps $40.) I probed about options, but that was all that met my needs. I thought it worthwhile to go to the FedEx store a few miles away...$10.95 for the same service! I returned to this Postal Connection. They were totally unapologetic and basically said "We charge as much as we can...the custonmer can decide". (Be careful of their notary charges as well.) It's the principle of the thing! Love the service when we signed up. Prepared for closures outside of post office closures. It's the day before Christmas Eve and found out they closed at one. Would totally get it if it was Christmas Eve but it wasn't. Mail days before a holiday are a big deal and to close two days before is not okay. Especially when I'm paying for service. I love this little gem in Indian Wells. I is a tiny store, but they carry some of the best stuffed animals you will ever find. They also have lots of really wonderful children's books geared for the very young. This store also has some cute toys for the young set from the horse collection to travel puzzles and much more. And don't forget they also have an enormous collection of greeting cards many which are one of a kind not seen in other stores. You can also rent postal boxes and send out packages whether it be UPS, ISPS, FED EX, etc. read more

I used this business because it's close to my house. I paid for overnight delivery and asked numerous times would the package be delivered next day. I was told, yes. They tried to sell me delivery by 12 noon but I didn't need the time of the delivery to be early, just needed to get there by next day. The package was not delivered next day at all!!! When I called to follow up I was told by Sam that they don't guarantee next day with ground delivery. What?!?! I paid for next day delivery. This is ridiculous. I will Never use this business for shipping again read more

I had my family in Palm Desert drop off a folding bike to be shipped to me here in Minneapolis. They dropped it off at Postal Connection. Tim at PC did a fantastic job of packing the bike to make sure that the fragile parts were well protected. Bike came in pristine shape after FedEx Ground. Great job. read more

Got a box here when I bought a house in Palm Desert over three years ago. There were some problems in the area with mailbox thievery. I had a package taken from my mailbox shortly after we bought the place. My real estate agent suggested Postal Connection so I rented a box & plan to keep it for a long time. Service here is great; we get a lot of packages from Amazon and other websites. This is the best way to keep them safe. Tim & Sam are terrific and always willing to help if we have a lot of stuff to carry back to the car. They are also really good with returns & shipping of all sorts. I have a mailbox here for about three years now. They provide the best service. I am handicapped and do most of my shopping online, so I get many packages. They always help put them in my car when needed. And friendly about it too. I offered to pay extra for my box, but they refused to let me. I am truly appreciative of the consideration they extend to me and highly recommend them. read more
