Excellent experience here. It's my first time at this location, as the Third Avenue one, is much closer, but they are way more efficient here. The woman at the counter and gentleman in the back went above and beyond to assist me. I had a problem with the company I was returning an item to, which first sent me an incorrect label, then sent no label, but updated the address on their end. After getting them to send me a new label, they were very patient and helpful. I mentioned to that she alone worked faster than 2 or 3 employees at the UPS Store on Third Avenue. I would give them 5 stars based on today's visit. Had a poor experience at the UPS store on Third Avenue and 93 Street. When I went to that location the women working was HORRIBLE!!! I asked the women to enter the number manually and she replied " I don't know how to do that. She said she could print a new label although there would be a charge to print it. Am I crazy? Why would I pay for something that is there fault? If their scanner can't read a label that I've printed on my own in the past? The package was costing over $20 to ship. Based on principle I drove over in the snow and ice to this store said nothing about the other incident. The label could not scan and they simply entered it manually. No fuss, no problems!! The manager or owner is here most of the times to take care of any problem. I will be coming here from now on. read more

I came here on a random weekday looking to return a huge order of Amazon items via UPS dropoff (with a label). I was a bit annoyed that they opened a little later than the posted time, but the friendliness of the staff really made up for it. I had maybe 2 dozen items with specific individual bar codes that needed to be scanned. The staff was patient while I looked for dug through my giant tote bags for each individual item to pair with each individual bar code. I don't like being the customer that gives the employees a lot of work at the beginning or end of their shift. However, the employees here all worked with a welcoming smile and made no complaints or hints that my giant return order would be a problem. Go early-ish for bigger orders. I say early-ish because they didn't open at 8 on the dot like they probably would in Manhattan, but oh well. I feel the Manhattan UPS might be a bit more uptight and impatient with having to do their own jobs. read more

I've passed by this corner so many times that I'm not sure how I never realized there was a UPS Store right here until now. I needed to return something, and the service was so quick that I was in and out in a couple of minutes. The guy working there was so efficient that he took care of my entire task while continuing to work on another customer's order. Just a huge compliment to the lady who works here, as she is so nice and hard working. I had to wait for the notary as he stepped out for lunch (and he was very professional too) and I mentioned my back wasn't so great and she brought me out a chair immediately. I mean, that was so kind AND while waiting, she took care of a stream of customers, many of whom she spoke with in, get this, English ... Arabic AND Spanish. Are you kidding me? What a gem! You can't put store hours on the window from 10-4 and then not be open until 10:30. Store hours were made for a reason.

This place needs to close or be shut down. Had to fax 8 pages to Social Security yesterday and it took the rude and cranky older man...he might be the owner......... 40 minutes ........to finish it. He kept saying that page 1 would't go through and he just left and took care of other customers. This was a Monday morning and he was all alone..... Finally he came back and kept complaining about page 1 but it did go through. Hire some patient people with good customer service skills! I won't be returning...... I submitted a document online to be printed at this location. I show up and am told it would be a hassle for them to pull up my order, and am told I need to go home, directly email them the document in order to have it printed, and then come back. Not sure if this is the fault of the greater UPS system or the store, but I wouldn't recommend using them to print anything. In addition, packages we have dropped off at this location have ended up being reported missing by Amazon. Amazon tried to charge us for not returning the packages, but we eventually confirmed we did drop them off at this location with pre paid labels, and that we were not at fault. read more

Been a customer at this location for years. The staff is friendly, especially the lovely ladt who works on Sundays recently (i suck with names). I chose this specific spot because it's open on the weekends. They do close in Sunday during the summer - well deserved breaks. I use this service because i love in a building without a doorman and I don't trust packages being left in the lobby. read more

I always get my documents notarized here. I think I only feel this way, but you have to take time to understand the notary guy. He is not friendly, but not mean either. It seems like every time I go there I'm on a mission and he has many levels. He handles things like a boss and it's always successful and quick. Definitely my favourite UPS store. read more

The old guy at the counter is EXTREMELY rude and charges an extra $2 for accepting USPS packages. So last week I ordered 4 pairs of VS yoga leggings. I ordered them in large...even though I have lost some weight, I thought I'd still be able to fit a large...turns out I'm not as big as I think...LOL I was going to keep them because I didn't want to go through the trouble of looking for a UPS store to return it...I thought these stores were rare and hard to find...I POYNT the business and it turns out, there's one sorta near where I live. Seeing the location I thought it was going to be small or a store within a store. The store was easy to find. It's right on the corner of 83rd Street and 5th Ave... The guy that helped me with my return package was very helpful...I saw that they closed at 6:30 and I got there 5 mins before they closed and I did not feel rushed at all... My printer decided to hate me at a really inconvenient time so I went to the closest ups store I could find and that was a huge MISTAKE!! Seriously?? 45 minutes for their crippling slow ancient computer to get it together and let me print something out?? Oh please. Would it really kill you to do maintenance on your only computer?! Not to mention while I was sitting there waiting both of the employees in the store at the time were rude to almost every customer that came. Go somewhere else. read more

I needed to ship back my textbooks and this was the nearest ups around my place. I was speaking nicely but this old man decides to give me an attitude like excuse you. Also, I wanted to find out if my package was going to be postmarked today and the man told me no because it's Sunday and we don't ship on Sunday. Okay, that I understand but can you lose the attitude? I am a customer and if that's how you treat your customers, this place definitely needs to be closed down. I felt the time my package took to arrive from NYC was very impressive - just under a week from the USA to South Africa. The only reason I haven't given UPS a five-star rating is due to the fact that two days before the package arrived, the updates said it would be "delivered today". So, the fact that the update was inaccurate was the only downside. Otherwise, great service. read more

He doesn't care about the customers at all and he nickel and dimes you for everything, even a foot long piece of tape.
