They actually derided an elderly couple (80+ years old) to their face, and then talked out loud in front of other customers trying to justify their position, "cant believe these people come in not knowing how the notary process doesnt work." They appeared to intentionally make the folks feel dumb and incompetent. It was a direct verbal attack and totally awkward for my group, and the others in the store. When helping me with notary work, Miguel was obnoxious and aggressive with another customer we were with. I had to tell him to calm down, and that we are all just trying to get documents notarized. The air of superiority from these two notaries was incredible, and their rude, aggressive approach to customer service has been documented several times on yelp in the past. It was a disgrace to UPS. To the business owner: please check your cameras to review their behavior and take corrective action to prevent others from having to go through that. Find someone to work there that treats all people with respect.

It required two signatures -- one each for me and my husband. Pros: we were able to schedule an appointment with the notary online. The shop was within walking distance of our daughter's, and was easy to find. We were greeted professionally when we arrived and throughout the transaction, and were seen immediately. Our documentation was carefully checked. Unfortunately, though, we can't say that our transaction was a good value. The UPS store back home charges $5 per signature, whereas this store charged $15 each or $30 total. (and, our local library does it for free). To be fair, it's possible that this is the going rate in California. The gentleman also didn't tell us in advance that the notarization requirements/seal look different in California than in Virginia -- so we're holding our breaths to see if the document will be accepted on the Virginia side.

"We don't have internet for customers, you need to go to the Starbucks across the lot". What? Ran to SB's where had to enter valid email (it detected my false email attempts to avoid spam), sent docs and ran back to Annex. Employee printed, then tried to Fax. it was busy again & again & again. I called the govt agency Inwas faxing to who said Fax was working fine on their end. Ran to UPS ScottsV where they sent it through first try and said it's not uncommon for print shops to still operate with outdated fax machines that are notoriously know to have issues. It about cost me my case. Can't express the helpfulness of the UPS staff vs the lacksidasical, non-caring attitude of Annex's staff.

Before I got there who knows but was there for a solid 15-20 while she was figuring stuff out. The notary was doing documents with a couple which also took a while. There was a third employee who came out, saw the line and told customers to use the kiosk for packages and drop off and then left to the back of the store. All of us required a transaction that required a person. So we just waited. Huge props to the employee who dealt with the difficult client- his patience and customer service was stellar. The employee or manager who left a line out the door while her coworkers were clearly busy and not able to assist the line not cool. Not my first choice of UPS but in a pinch will try this location again.
