Worst customer service matched with a very rude manager. She hung up on me while I was on hold for several minutes then calls me and pretends its my fault that I didn't want to speak to her about a time sensitive package that needed to be released. I come back the next day and she's even more rude in person and has decided to give my time sensitive package that was supposed to be released yesterday to a truck driver then she tells me she doesn't care. Stay away there are better places to mail out your packages!!! read more

Yea, the traffic out here sucks, but if you're from here, you're used to it. I arrived 10 minutes before they closed. There was someone in line in front of me, the guy at the counter greeted me and told me he would be right with me. When it was my turn, he was very friendly and the drop-off was quick and painless. He told me to have a good weekend and I was off. No issues with customer service for me. I was greeted, helped, and thanked for my visit. read more

I have been here many times before and gotten good service. The last time I went a robotic young man helped me. The other employee was out front helping customers when I asked them to package my package in front of me since they have sent my gifts to the wrong person. The other person went to the back and he proceeded to help person after person instead of completing the task. He told me that I needed to wait so he could help other customers. I did not know that the other person would leave the floor and think that whatever they were doing in the back was more important than getting me on my way. If she had not left the floor after he told me that, they could have helped the customers and gotten me on my way. I was not a priority to them at all. Very unfortunate since I literally drive from mckinney to go to this location. Manager-per your comment below- look at the camera. He so could have finished me up in about 15 seconds. He was trying to make a point by helping the other customers. I don't care if the other person was going to the restroom. That was not the point of my review. The point was that the person helping me was trying to make a point because he had told me they would help customers come in. I agreed because there were two people working. I waited an extremely long time. It was unnecessary and ridiculous and made me feel Not valued as a customer. Your response made me feel no more valued. read more

Been in this specific location so many times and i have never had a bad experience. They have always made me a priority and all of guys working the counters were very professional. I work in the customer service industry and I know well trained people when I see them. I recently moved further from this location for work but i will continually come to this location due to the warmth an excellence of both the crew an the young woman i believe was the manager! read more

I've opened a personal mailbox at this store, so I am there pretty often, and I can say all the staff are incredibly friendly. Service is always fast, I've never had to spend more than a couple minutes inside. The store is open until 7pm so I can actually make it there after work, unlike the post office. I plan to use them for all my shipping needs. read more

Considering that I used to like this store especially for the convenience of its location, I am hugely disappointed in what transpired today. - a package we sent at the end of June seems to be lost - no update anywhere - sent from this store - when my wife called trying to locate, Melissa at the store and Rick the franchise owner both demonstrated the lowest level of customer service I've ever seen. I listened as both declined ownership of the situation, were short and quite honestly condescending. My takeaway is that they operate on a take it or leave it motto and don't care one way or the other about good customer service. Obviously the employees are a reflection of their leadership. 7/21 update - based on owners response, clear lack of ownership of the situation continues to be an ongoing theme. At the core of this whole issue that your business is run with very poor customer service. I continue to maintain my initial review. Not a place to do business with. read more

Beware! They will hold your package hostage! I had a delivery that required a signature (unbeknownst to me at the time of ordering). The "I missed you" slip was left on the front door with a tracking number. I went onto the ups website and this store is listed as a UPS access point where the package can be rerouted for pickup during store hours. Another option is CVS near me. There was no information on the reroute address page about any charge for holding my package. (CVS does this as a complete courtesy). In addition, I had already paid a membership fee to the retailer for free express 2 day delivery. The store did not send a courtesy email or text to me to notify me that my packages were at their location. I had to go onto the UPS Website to track and locate them. The employee had my 2 very small envelopes (8x10 inch plastic shipping envelopes) wrapped in a single parcel and demanded 10$ for each (despite the fact that they were delivered at the same time and rubber banded together). He asked if I was "aware" of the charge (which of course I wasn't). I find this to be a bit of a scam given that I was not even notified that my packages had arrived there. I demanded to speak to management and the employee stated that he WOULD NOT "BOTHER" his manager on the manager's day off and that the store owners were "out of town". He then stated that he WOULD BE HAPPY to simply send my packages back to the retailer. I will NOT use this location again. I suggest for packages/shipping delivery options that you select an alternate option than the ALLEN UPS store because they do not make these bogus charges known to the consumer. When you get those attempted delivery notifications from UPS, please do yourself a favor and use a neighbor or your work address rather than any UPS store. FYI, they had my package for less than 1 day (delivered 2/20 and picked up 2/21 at noon). I also feel that their customer service is strongly lacking. A customer with a complaint should ALWAYS be able to speak with a manager!! read more

I believe this location has been open for a month or two. It is super close to where I work. I have been more than pleased with the employees and the owner of this location. I have had my fair share of poor experiences with different postal services. Rick and his staff are far from poor! They have always helped out and with a smile. I almost always bring in international packages. They are very detailed with the process. They also run the tracking numbers every morning of boxes shipped from their location. If something comes up that is a concern they contact you. The first time they told me they checked the tracking numbers I brushed it off. Didn't think much of it. I had a box going to Canada that had the first attempted delivery and no one was home. Someone at the UPS Store called me and told me to make sure my customer knew that after three attempts it would get sent back. I thought it was so thoughtful that they actually care enough to call! I will do all of my UPS business at this location only from now on! Stellar! A+ to the whole staff! read more

I come here all the time and today will be the last time I ever step into this store! This guy Danny was extremely Rude and difficult! I walked in told him I had a few amazon returns and needed to 3 day ship a box. He immediately tells me well I'm only scanning one bar code and I told him I have 3 bars codes and 2 different bags/boxes. He tells me well I am only scanning one code again not listening. I had to explain to him there are 2 different bags here not just one so how will you only scan one bar code and further more Every other time I come into this store they have scanned multiple bar codes and put it into the same box without an issue bc there was plenty of room. He proceeds to tell me well he is following the policy and he won't do it. So I ask him well what are you suggesting I do you keep telling me what I can't do and what you won't do but you aren't giving me any options. He told me to select a bag or box from the shelf and I asked him to grab one he told me no he will not grab it I have to grab it. So then I asked him to tape the packages that were ready as I got additional bar codes from amazon and he refused. He placed my items on the floor and told me he will do it later. I told him by the way he was a acting I didn't trust him to tape them with me not watching so I would like him to tape them now and he refused. I then asked if I could tape it and he said sure I asked him for tape and he told me it was policy that I couldn't hold the tape dispenser that he would tape it. So you refused to tape it when I asked you to then when I asked you to tape it you told me it's against policy and you would tape it and proceeded to tape it when that is the very thing I just asked you to do. why could you not do it when I asked you to the first time. I don't know what this guys problem was but he clearly had an ego issue or some chip on his shoulder! I will be finding out who the store manager is to ensure they are aware of the very poor customer service there worker displayed! read more

Came to this location for the first time last week and was blown away by the kind staff and their knowledge of the products and services. I dealt with an associate named Melissa and she was able to answer all of my questions swiftly and really gave me a sense that she knew her printing. She was professional and courteous. Wish there was a no star rating on this because this UPS store #6215 in Allen, TX would get that. Mailed an international package on 6/29 to an arrival date of 7/5. The UPS site showed no updates on their tracking system other than label created on 6/30. Called the store on 7/8 after the recipient went to his UPS location only to be told that the package never left the U.S. The phone was answer by Melissa who after I explained the situation very flatly said the country I was shipping to has a tendency to steal packages or the UPS driver just never scanned in the document -- every excuse other than saying sorry your package has not made it and let's see what we can do to solve the issue. She promptly referred me to call UPS corporate. I called the number to speak with a much nicer customer service rep in international named Maria who explained that the package does not show to have ever been received by UPS from the store and that the store would need to initiate an investigation for me. I put the store on the call as 3 way to just get all this resolved. Got the same Melissa who once more flatly, with no helpful tone or ownership said she can't do anything and would have the owner call us on Monday! Seriously? It is 10 am on a Friday and it would be till Monday before we are contacted? Remember, Maria from UPS corporate is still on the line and informs me that any one at a UPS store location can initiate an investigation not just the franchise owner. Melissa at the store chimes in that she cannot do that or rather will not do that. Her tone in addressing me, the lack of ownership in the situation and just the condescending way she addressed everything just floored me. Even the corporate UPS lady, Maria noticed the tone and told me to call the store customer service number as that type of service was not acceptable. So the store owner, Rick and then all the pieces came together because he was definitely the exam Melissa follows in dealing with customers. He tells me that he thought she handled the situation great and by the way, that he was standing there the whole time while she spoke with me! Really? You see and hear that there is a customer issue that needs to be escalated and you just opt to stand next to your rude rep and not interject knowing fully well that she is choosing not to take ownership of the situation??? People need to realize that when you make the choice to work in a customer facing situation, then you need to have a matching demeanor to deal with people and obviously, this store owner and employee, Rick and Melissa have none of that. You are rude, condescending, and do not take ownership of situations. You handle things very poorly and could benefit greatly from some coaching on dealing with people or go find jobs in other field where you do not deal with people. At the end of the day, my package is nowhere and it'll take 10 days to 6 months to resolve the issue!!! Wow - if you need a model foe how not to do things, then this store is it. UPS is probably a really good company however, this store has guaranteed that I will never do business with UPS. AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!!! read more
