I sent a package from this store as I always do but this time my package took twice the delivery time. I felt like it was unfair to me that I paid so much for a delivery and the package arrived five days late. I spoke to the store and they were unhelpful in any way. I asked for a refund and they said they could not offer me a refund. I have been using this store for three years and as a customer I feel as if the store could have handled things better. I asked for the manager's support and the manager wouldn't even get on the phone with me, instead they put the responsibility on their employee. read more

I just wanted to make note of the bright spot in my dealings with Macy's. I missed his first attempt today to pick up the package I was returning, and he followed through when he said he would come back after his deliveries and pick it up, as I saw him delivering another package across the street. He stated he felt bad about the condition of the box, but had no choice but to deliver it. I understand, because he would need a label for the return. I was just in my feelings when I saw that disaster on my porch! So, thanks again to UPS for prompt service after the order for return was placed correctly. Don't bother coming here early in the morning. It's always something up with their system not working.

I've been using this UPS location for over 15 years. With the new ownership (possibly a couple of times over the past few years) this business has severely suffered. What was an easy drop off for packages going to OK has now become delayed delivery, over and over. The place was cluttered with so many boxes - it was like a zoo. There weren't many customers in and lots of staff but nothing appeared to be getting done with the masses of boxes, opened and unopened. I was assured by the staff person (who seemed to be in charge that day) that my package would go out that evening - it did not. This has happened several times in 2023. I will never go back. I will use the McDermott / Custer Rd location. Not reliable services. I should have take a photo to attach of the clutter. I should have gone to another location a mile away. read more

i just had a bad experience. I wish the employees were more helpful and supportive. I was trying to return an Amazon product for the first time and left the store more confusend than when I entered. They were not helpful. they seemed overwhelmed and frustrated. I guess I will go to another store in hopes of getting the information I need to successfully complete this return. read more

One of their employees stole my package and I will be filing a police report. Employee won't give me his manager contact info. I went to drop off a per-printed label package for a return item which weighs 22 lbs. The box was sealed with tape, I get the drop off receipt and leave. Few days later, the package tracking shows still never left the store, called UPS customer service, they tracked it for a week and sure enough, the UPS driver never picked it up from their store and taken it to hub. When I contact the store by phone, the employee is rude, says the drop off is a courtesy and the store is not responsible... everything is picked up by UPS drivers the day off. I asked to speak to the manager or a time of phone number to reach him/her, he won't do provide the info. read more

I recently went here to ship an Amazon return as well as get a document notarized. There could be a line after usual work hours (5 PM-6 PM) but the staff here makes sure things go by quickly. I was pretty impressed with the notary service, which was super easy and quick! Only $6 to get a document notarized, and they have always someone who is available to do the service. Overall, I'm glad to have had good experiences here, as they were quick and easy. read more

The map location for this store is incorrect; it's not on Alma, it's at Watters and McDermott in the Tom Thumb shopping center. This is a small location that provides full UPS services. They can pack your shipment for you, or accept packages that you've done yourself. A small supply of (somewhat pricy) packaging materials are available, but with Staples right down the way in the same shopping center, I'd do it that way. Parking can be a little tough due to the high concentration of shops here and traffic within the shopping center is a little hectic; watch carefully when backing out of your space. read more

Went in to drop off an Amazon return which I have done countless times before at other UPS stores. Upon arriving, I placed my box on the counter with the pre-printed label inside the box (which I have done at countless other UPS stores without issue) only to have the young man behind the counter rudely tell me I needed to make sure next time that the box is closed before dropping it off. I told him kindly that at my UPS has never required me to do so to which he responded rudely again bemoaning how many packages a day they get dropped off. I nodded politely and walked out, aghast at such unnecessary rudeness. I will not be returning to this UPS in the future for any form of business since, as a consumer, I do not appreciate being treated like what I am doing is inconvenient to you when it is your job. If you don't like closing boxes and dealing with packages, then UPS probably isn't for you. read more

I asked a receipt of my Amazon shipment. I shipped three and got a receipt for two. I want the last one. The store manager came and told me to take a picture of label by saying she cannot print it. She said she doesn't understand why I want to have print copies although I would get an email. The shipments are for my company. I need proofs of shipment for documentation. I don't understand what stupid system cannot reprint a receipt and how she asked a customer to do their job. Very annoying attitude stays bad tastes in my mouth. read more

Three stars. What I like is that when I go in, there's usually never a line up. I had to go in today to get some paperwork notarized, which costs $6 per item (2 pieces of paper for $12 - ouch). Their staff is friendly. But given that the Allen Post office is not that far away by car, I think I'm more likely to go there for my regular postage needs, since it is quite a bit more expensive at the UPS Store. I use them when I'm in a pinch. read more

This location always has the grumpiest employees. This time they told me I can no longer have them tape my Amazon return boxes. Pretty sure that's part of their job. Don't go here. Wanted to send some regular mail. Danny Charged me 80 cents per letter and didn't even ask me If I wanted first class mail, which I didn't, but that's what he charged me. I am perfectly fine with regular mail at what I found out was only 49 cents per letter after swiping my card. They are just trying to make extra money and I don't appreciate that. Will never come back. I ended up spending $7.20 just to mail 9 letters. So ridiculous!!! read more

This store has employees and managers who give wrong information out. I took a package to this location. I had a return shipping label for some equipment I received broken from UPS. Since the value was over $1000 they told me they could not accept the package and to take it back and call for a pickup. UPS Customer service now tells me they are not UPS and UPS is not responsible for problems at this particular UPS store location. I dissagree. They have UPS on their door and on their signage and shirts. They represent themselves as UPS but UPS does not consider them UPS. When I called UPS Customer service, I spoke with many employees: Gian #IASC, then her supervisor Lisa, then her supervisor Monica then hers Mary Ella, then finally the UPS Customer Service Manager Derrick. Not one of these employees stood by the UPS name and took care of me the Customer. They just want to pass the buck. Meanwhile I still have a 50 pound box with broken equipment UPS delivered and UPS wont pick it up from me unless I pay an additional $10.32. Now they say I have to load it back up in my car and drive it to yet another UPS store. Forget it. I will never, ever, ever use UPS again. I would rather take the box to FedEx and pay the shipping myself rather than deal with another worthless UPS employee. Not one of the supervisors or the manager would get this problem handled and save their reputation. They would rather leave a customer upset than eat the $10.32 pickup fee when their own UPS store told me that was what I had to do. Worthless!!! I am all FedEx from now on!! read more

This is the BEST UPS store around. The staff make the store. Daniel is the best manager ever. Laurie is the best supervisor. I think UPS as a business is horrible. Don't ever call UPS to track or find a lost package because you will get NOTHING. The employees at this store though go way out of their way to take care of you. I even showed up 20 minutes before closing AND had the address wrong which made the guy working have to reprint my label. He was super helpful and polite. I had to send my ATT Uverse equipment back to ATT via the process which included a stop at the UPS Store with a preprinted return auth form. The staff knew exactly what to do with the equipment and paperwork and I was in and out of the store in 5 minutes. Thank you!!! read more

I have been a box holder here for the last 12yrs and will never go anywhere else. There have been many times where I have needed something that required one of their employees to go above and beyond and they have always came through. The staff is amazing from Danny(loves his Vans) and Ali that is always in toon to what is happening with my Knicks and the boss Peter which is always so polite, charming, nice and willing to do whatever to help out where he can. This place is hands down better than the post office, which wont even pick up there phone. I call up to the UPS store here with all sorts of crazy request and have never been told no. They have always came through and always do whatever they can to help out. Everyone should get a box here or at the very least use there services. They ROCK! Thanks PETER and TEAM! read more

Not a good place. These people do not want your business. They limit anyone to 5 boxes a day that you can drop off. They are worse than the US Postal Service when it comes to not wanting business. These were not even very big boxes. They claim they do not have room to store anymore than 5 boxes. Why call yourself a UPS shipping store if you do not want to ship stuff. read more

Good guys working in this store. Always helpful with my shipping needs. I bring in 3-5 boxes to ship to a recycling company every 10 days. There are never any issues and I'm able to bring in my boxes and know that they will make it to their destination. I'll continue doing business here! read more

I'm giving this place 1 star because previously I've never had an issue. Today I called to inquire about having some labels Amazon had emailed me printed to go on the packages I was bringing up. The guy I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and assured me that they could print the labels, no problem. I lugged the huge package I had to my car then into this store. Upon arriving I went up to the counter, said hello then told the gentleman he must have been the one I spoke to on the phone about the label. Immediately an old Indian man came up behind him and told him to be sure to charge me. I told him no one had mentioned to me that I would be charged for the label. He literally shrugged his shoulders then said, "is it supposed to be $3, I think it's $5". The young kid helping me assured him it was $3. The old man then proceeded to stand in different places behind the counter staring at me and the employee. When I asked for the contact information for the owner he told me to ask someone else. I have never been treated with such disrespect by a business owner. There is a UPS Store 2 miles from this one at The Village of Allen on Stacy. Worst experience at this store! I got a shipping label and a return shipment . The package was sent but the return label was lost. UPS customer service said the store should be able to void the shipment, and get a new label or get the amount refunded. The store manager Peter was very rude and cold when he refused to get me a new label or void the payment. I told him to consult with UPS Customer service but he said he doesn't have to because it is his store policy and not UPS's to not to refund the money/ reprint a new label for their customer. Well I went to them because I thought they were UPS. Apparently they are not. I am at a loss for the bad luck of using this UPS store (Store # 3739) at 906 W. McDermott Dr., Ste116, Allen, TX 75013. I actually went here about 1 month ago to scan some documents to my husband's email. My husband travels a lot for his job. He needed some documents scanned to his email, and then he needed those documents mailed to him in Malaysia. I scanned the documents, and then I dropped them in the envelope to mail them. I was walking out to the car with my two little kids, and my husband calls to tell me he still has not received the scans. I tell him to keep checking. I eventually got the kids out of the car to go back to the store. I told them I need to rescan the documents, and I asked for confirmation that the scans had went through the first time. It turns out the scans had in fact not went through the first time they were sent. In order to rescan the copies I had to get the package back from them. Thank God they had not sent it yet. I had two employees trying to help me send the documents to my husband's email. Nothing was working. Twenty minutes later they just told me sorry go some where else. They were nice, and helpful. However, it was a drag taking my two little children to yet another store to get this task done. I got a refund for paying for the scanning, and for the postage to mail these documents. I could not mail the documents because my husband needed them scanned first. I went to another UPS store in Fairview. They got it done. I won't ever go back to this one. read more

Horrible, horrible customer service. I went in to drop off pre-paid letters and there was a line. So I waited until there was a lull in conversation and spoke up and politely asked if I could just leave the letters I had because they were already labeled. I was told he would take care of paying customers first and might would get my shipment out. I didn't want to cause a scene and left the store. After thinking about it a few minutes I called back to talk to him and I told him I was a paying customer and that my company spends thousands upon thousands of dollars each year on UPS because we are a global fortune 100 company. He replied and told me I was not paying that store directly and that I was paying UPS therefore I am not a paying customer. I called to speak to a manager and left a message the next day and no one returned my call. I then had to ship something else for my company and went back to the store (forgetting about the incident a few weeks before). Since I was there I asked for the manager. Of course the manager was the same jerk I had dealt with before. I asked if there was a manager above him and he told me no and that he will say again their policy is to take care of paying customers and I was not one. I told him that because of his attitude I'll never be a paying customer and he should think of the potential before sending a message like that. He told me I was rude because I interrupted a customer to ask if I could leave my items. I explained that I did not interrupt, I actually waited until he was finished talking before I spoke up. He told me it was extremely rude, I then asked him if there was ever a time he had excused himself and asked a quick question. His response was "we're not talking about me, we're talking about you". I told him he was being rude and being a jerk to me. He then said again I was rude that day. I began walking out the door and he yelled at me and told me to never come back. He acts like that is the ONLY UPS in Allen, TX. There is one the exact same distance from my house if I just simply make a right instead of a left. So there I shall go from here on out. Thought I'd share how rude and horrible he was to me. His name was Peter. I hope that this sends a message loud and clear that there are other stores out there and I highly, highly recommend you not go to this one especially if you're dropping something off. read more
