We signed up to get the TSA PreCheck designation to make going through airport security faster. There were multiple places to choose from to go in to the interview portion of the process. I selected this Allen location to set up the appointment. We arrived about 10 minutes early for my 11:30 appointment and signed in at the desk set up for that purpose. We were immediately called back. We presented our passports, entered our phone number and email address on the screen, put thumbs and then the other 4 fingers for both hands on the screen when prompted. 7-8-2023 - This location offers the TSA pre check enrollment. Appointment sign up online. When we arrived there was one person working in the TSA area and he had zero personality, which by itself would be okay but he was also not forthcoming with the assistance and gave the vibe that we were an inconvenience to his day. It was basically figure out the tablet machine on your own. But we stumbled through and finished. We had our TSA approvals within 48 hours and it worked perfectly on our trip. read more

The young lady Jeneica who helped me with my TSA Pre-Check was very friendly and informative however, she was the only one available to handle all of the other customers waiting for their appointments. This led to there being a long wait and, while other impatient customers gave her a difficult time, she was professional in setting expectations on the process of helping each customer who had a prior appointment. I enjoy the service here but it would be nice to see one or two more associates to help during busier hours. read more

Went here for the first time for my TSA pre check and I did have an appointment as they do allow walk ins but appointments go first. I was greeted right away and was shown where to go for the check in process. I had an appointment at 9:20Am but got there early and was seen right away! They do lots of different things other then TSA pre check as well. The store was very clean and organized. I would definitely recommend this place for any shipping or TSA pre check needs. read more

I have been very happy with my service here! It is very close to the Allen PO, and so much faster! There is almost never a line when I come in, and it's so easy to work with the staff to get your stuff sent out. I have found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, and always trying to give you the best price on shipping they can. I avoid the Allen PO if I can now that I know I can come here for all my shipping needs. It's just east of the PO, heading back towards McDermott. Highly recommend. read more

Had used this place for shipping for over 3 years. Dealt with lots of incompetence over time. Supposed to be open at 8 am on week days. Employee who opens door arrives no earlier than 8:15. One day when employee was upset that she had to work, explained that now I have to pay for wrapping paper. An entire role goes for $15 on Amazon. They get discounted shipping and up charge for their service. I was explained wrapping paper was FREE by multiple employees. I will not return unless they find better help. read more

This is the worst shipping company that I have ever used! In particular they have an employee that works there named Katie, she is a very heavy set Individual with short black hair and glasses. I showed up three days ago and told her that I had a very important package that needed to go within Texas overnight, that it had to be there the next day! I told her that I wanted her to use FedEx ground service, because I knew that that would get it done, she informed me that she thought I should use USPS priority service which would also for sure get it there the next day! She wanted to save me a couple dollars, who knows what contest she was trying to win behind the scenes or if she has a crush on some idiot that works at the post office, I guess we'll never know, I should have never ever trusted her,but the bottom line is that it's four days later and the package is still not delivered. I have called back every day to this establishment to speak to a different person, not one time has a supervisor or manager tried to return my call. Here are the lessons learned here, DO NOT use this place to ship your packages, if you do, DO NOT listen to Katie that I have described above, as she is not knowledgeable and DOES NOT do her job well!, and three never ever ever use USPS, not only should this place NOT even help facilitate that service, don't offer it at all, USPS is the worst organization ever run and full of nothing but let down!!! read more

I am very pleased with Optimal Ship Center. I have had no issues to speak of and when I needed to send some very important packages one being to Israel and another to Italy I had no problem shipping them out using next day service. My clients were happy and I have since made them my Companys drop shipper. I don't believe one bad experience should prevent you from using them. read more

This is hands down my favorite shipping place. They provide a variety of shipping options and carriers. Not only are they amazingly helpful with domestic shipments optimal is a DHL authorized shipping center and helps with international shipping as well. If you have a package to ship in the states or over seas this is the place to go! I don't even waste my time trying to go to the post office. At optimal there is rarely a line and the staff is great. I have had great experiences with each of the staff and each person is always willing to help however they can. However I have especially had great experiences with Alex. She is one of the longest working employees, always goes above and beyond, and is very knowledgeable with suggesting the best shipping options. Her bright smile, positive attitude and willingness to solve any issue or make shipping smoother for me is like no other. I could go on and on about how great this place is!
