I just moved in the neighborhood. They call me a few days later to say pick up the key. The key didn't work so I took it back to them. Now it's only one person that does keys and she didn't do that one, so that one magically appeared out of nowhere and opened box 8 instead of my box. I could see someone else's mail. Truly a joke, when I guess she returned from vacation, it made sense to make this not a priority and do 2 weeks of catching up and if I wouldn't have called today, no telling when I would get the key. They say Friday but I won't hold my breath. Now I have to go drive and be inconvenienced and pick up my mail, because of the incompetence going on.. then they want to try and justify their mistake by telling me what they see in a log. Look lady, I only picked up a key you guys called and told me was ready, brought it back when it opened my neighbors box instead of mine in front of a USPS supervisor. He could have fixed the issue but wanted you guys held responsible for your own mistake. Now you're on the phone telling me the one person who does the keys don't have it logged and never been to this address. Which is neither here nor there to a customer. I don't know what you guys processes are like. It's definitely one thing, flawed!!! And it's more than one person making keys if she doesn't have a recollection of it. Maybe that should be the hot item on your list, smh!!

Might be one of the few in the area open on Sat. There were 3 booths with a line of about 8 of us. Another area open had a line of 3 people. I moved pretty quickly. Here is what impressed me enough to write a review- there was another person helping with package pick up. When he finished, he came out behind the door and asked the cashiers if they needed help or change. When they said no, he turned to the next folks in line and asked them if they were ready to go - had everything filled out - had any questions? The cool thing is that he determined that the woman behind me could save $$ just by changing her package - and it would still get there exactly when she wanted. He helped her, then moved her to a cashier to make up for losing her place in line. I actually put off this trip because I knew I had to use a window (the service I needed is not offered online) and didn't have the time to go through a long wait. I'm hopeful that my future experiences will be like this though. Don't remember the "supervisor's" name that was helping, but shout out to my guy at the window - "Lee".

This location is not a regular post office. They do not provide regular mail services, like…read moreshipping, selling stamps, etc. It is a warehouse of sorts, used to sort packages. Residents are occasionally directed here to pick up packages. In my situation, my package was too long to fit inside the USPS mail truck, so I had to pick it up at this place. It's just west of the Walgreens store (at Coit/Rolater). If you're heading west on Rolater, go past Walgreens and you'll see the USPS sign. I took this route on Saturday, turned into their lot and found myself staring at locked gates. I finagled my way back through the parking lot towards Walgreens and looked for another entrance. I was able to find my way in that way. I don't know if that's because it was a Saturday or if those gates are always locked, but be aware of that. Yes, it was the main entrance off Rolater that was locked. To reach the back (or side entrance), you can enter off Coit, or just work your way around the parking lot. There were signs that indicated where customers needed to go, where to park, what door to enter through, etc. I'm thankful because I would have doubted myself. Like I said, it's a warehouse of sorts. To open the entry door, I had to pull the chain that was attached to it. Once inside, there was a big green button on the counter that said "ring for service." Once I rang it, it took at least five minutes for someone to come. I almost rang it again, but didn't want to annoy anyone since I lost my little orange notification card that they left in my mailbox. The gentleman that came out was very nice. He took my license and headed back to locate my package. I was in and out quickly. The hours on the website are wrong. The card I received in my mailbox, AND the hours posted on their door said: M-F: 7:30AM-4PM Sat: 7:30-12PM

Larry was very helpful when he noticed I grabbed the wrong envelope and let me correct that, then quickly get back with him after I did that (no line wait). And a couple seconds later, I was heading out. This is not unusual for the service I've received over the years here. All Covid-19 protocols are being enforced.

So when I finally got to receive a stamp to mail off, she stared feeling the card up and said "what you put in card!" And I told her, "there's a letter with a gift card in it." She then goes on to say "no, no, it feel funny! Me have to run through machine, so I charge you extra!" I told her that she could run it through the machine but I didn't have time to argue with her about her trying to over charge me for sending a simple letter with a gift card in it. (Which I have done many times without a problem until I came to this place) but there was no way I was paying to have it scanned when I've done this multiple times. I just simply rejected her demands and bought a book of stamps, then put it on the card myself, and placed in the drop box outside. Would never recommend going to this place. Forgot to update this and hoping the Asian lady is reading this; I was right and the birthday card was mailed and received. Someone needs to re-train her.
