Dropped a package off 5 days ago and it has not even scanned... the worker is friendly but he said he would drop it off the next day.

'Open' but doors locked and sign on door that they will be back...no time given. Just drove 10 min here and this is CRAP!! I called the phone number in the 'we will be back' sign and rang twice then went to voicemail. Terrible. read more

I've had mixed experiences. The employees are incredibly friendly and as a business they have a lot to offer. Lots of cute trinkets and various mailing solutions are available within. With that said, I sent two certified letters from this location and never received the return receipt. One employee was equally confused, but the owner denied a refund and promised they'd show up eventually. It's been over a year and they never turned up. I also shipped a box of perfumes (cost $35 to ship) and it sat around for about a week before actually going on its way to the final destination. Much like my missing return receipts, all the employees could do was shrug and say they have no idea what happened. My last encounter with this business involved scanning a form that I needed to email. I was charged $1 PER SIDE of the form just to scan. $5 for a one minute scan. They could have easily just done it for free and earned a customer for life, but they seem quite money hungry. Which brings me to my last point, all the mailing services provided here are grossly overpriced compared to just going to the post office. And while it is conveniently located in a drop-off dead zone, the actual post office isn't that far away. You're much much better off just driving the extra time to the real post office. You'll get cheaper rates, your return receipts will actually return, and your package will get on its way faster. This place does have interesting trinkets to browse and the employees are extremely friendly. However, the actual core of their business--shipping and mailing--is fairly overpriced and inefficient compared to a standalone post office. read more

I was visiting the area and had to ship a bunch of things back home. A local friend recommended these guys and I'm glad they did! Quick service. The guy packaged everything carefully and, most importantly, all of my items showed up back home in perfect shape. Fair price, pleasant people. What's not to like!? read more

This place comes up when you Google USPS offices, but according to the lady working there, there are independent and can charge exorbitant prices for postage stamps and mailing packages. Never again will I visit this location I don't understand why they are listed as a USPS office if they're not owned by the US government. This is totally misleading and possibly fraudulent in my opinion. read more

Never thoughtI'd be leaving a review for a post office! I went in during lunch time on a rainy friday and I was welcomed by the owner(i think) who was super nice and friendly. The atmosphere of the place is very nice too. And to those who complainabout the price, of course its more expensive than if you actually go to USPS. But its the same if you go to any other post office other than usps to send something via usps. Overall was a good experience!! read more

Soooo friendly. I felt so welcomed here. Dino and the other women (I forgot her name, but she makes my day!) are always helpful and I'm so sad that I found this place right before I plan on moving. I'm moving to Europe and much of my postal needs were satisfied here. Their business also sells nice souvenirs and gifts, which I didn't consider that I needed some myself. If you need anything, you'll always get the best responses from them. Even though I didn't ask, they always try finding and fixing a better postal price for you. I've received numerous tips and advice from them, which I still truly appreciate today. You'll never have to feel underwhelmed or anxious going to another postal office - you'll just feel at home here. read more

The best customer service! I had been searching for post offices close to home when I discovered Canyon Creek Postal and given the great reviews, I decided to give it a try. It was the best decision ever. I had just started selling some of my kids used clothes online and was struggling with the shipping costs. Dino took the time to share his knowledge and give me the advice that I could never find online, so that I could finally get me shipping costs right. He is always very generous with his time and knowledge. I was pleased to find this little gem nearby as I needed to ship something to my wife in NYC urgently. Now, I just moved to Dallas from NYC and anytime I ever had to ship something in the city it was a nightmare and the post offices were a cluster. I walked into this place and a friendly gentleman greeted me right away. He helped me select what I needed to ship a slightly large envelope, and I was in and out in about 2 minutes. I will definitely come back here any time I need shipping things taken care of! read more

Double the price of just going to a U.S. Post Office. Unfortunately, I learned that the hard way today. Long story short, I needed my passport renewal paperwork overnighted so I can go on my own bachelorette in Mexico by November 3rd (I'm real good at procrastinating) so I was willing to pay whatever it took to get my paperwork there and back in time. I begrudgingly shelled out $41.50 for overnight delivery from Texas to New Hampshire. That didn't sit right with me, so when I got to work after going to the post office I checked USPS.com and saw that it should have only costed me $22.95! I was so upset that I left work and went back up to Canyon Creek Postal to ask about this and the same lady told me they charge more because they're a private post office. I understand being a private business, but twice as much?? I will not be going back, and by the looks of that place, it seems like a lot of other people had the same experience and sentiment that I did. read more

I walked in with a package and the rude lady/ owner rudely asked me what I have. I told her I just needed to drop off a package. She then told me that they charge a $2 drop off fee because they are not owned by the government. Then she asked me what kind of package I was dropping off (as if she was going to waive the fee). I told her that I bought the postage already from my local post office using their kiosk to weight it and print the stamp. However, this was after hours and they were already closed so they did not have the packing tape out for the priority mail. So I decided to take it home to tape it. She then asked me what was wrong with the post office? I told her that there was nothing wrong with the post office, they were just closed. Then she asked me how I got the stamp if they were closed? Hello lady, do you live under a rock? How are you not aware of the kiosks at the post office? You kind of work with the post office! I tried to explain it to her but she just wasn't listening. The lady in front of me stepped to the side and was even shocked with this lady/ owners remarks. Oh and the customer in front of me was there trying to buy Christmas stamps but the rude employee told her that they didn't have any. So then she said I'll take whatever you've got. And she responded with "well we don't have any". And the customer asked "you don't have any stamps at all"? Then the non-listening ride employee/owner stated that she had stamps but just regular stamps... Not Christmas. Didn't we already established this? I'm telling you, she's a complete idiot. Needless to say, I walked out with my package. I'll take it to the real post office. This lady was completely stupid and rude. Really though? You're charging me two dollars to drop off a package when I already paid $9 for the postage. Come on, let's get serious. As a small business owner in the Dallas area, I have used many of these "Mailboxes, Etc." type businesses over the last 15 years. Many have changed ownership (including this one) and many have closed their doors for good. I have been doing business the Canyon Creek Postal through 3 owners now, including the current one. None of them however, have shown the excellence in customer service and integrity that I have experienced with the current ownership at Canyon Creek Postal. I challenge anyone reading this to find a shipping and mailbox location with ownership that truly cares about their customers and their business more than Canyon Creek Postal.
