My experience with IdentiGO in PLANO was awful, they closed down without telling people who made appts. So came here, was helped by the nicest guys. They couldn't find my info for fingerprinting but he called them for me, schedule an appt so I can get my finger printing done. He had patience and didn't make me feel like an inconvenience. I did read some other post about people complaining about waiting but that's life. Suck it up. Would definitely come here to do business. read more

Nothing wrong with the store itself, not even the fact that it looks like a pop up shop. The man who owns the shop was friendly and seemingly harmless but apparently took my reciprocation of kindness too far. I had a scheduled meeting to get fingerprints taken with the IdentoGo portion of the shop and gave him my information to put on the computer to send to the state, all normal in my eyes. Later that night I had received a message from him, hitting on me and trying to state that I said he should "keep my number" and "we get together to hang out". I am in a serious relationship so my boyfriend and I have been absolutely livid about this ordeal, and are considering contacting authorities about the matter. I had a super unpleasant experience here yesterday. My mom sent me here to mail a book to someone. First of all, this places smells like old people and cigarette smell (I don't care for the old people smell but NO place should smell like cigs) I walk in and the ONLY person working here was helping another woman take boxes to her car. No biggy. I went to the back to find the envelopes I needed while I was waiting for him to get back inside. When I found what I was looking for, I patiently waited at the counter for him to return. As he was walking to the counter to help me, he sort of rolled his eyes at me (because you know, every millennial is a trouble maker) and sternly asked "how can I help you?" I was a bit shook with how stern he was for absolutely no reason, but I politely told him what I needed done. After I had written down the address my mom had given me to ship the book, he harshly said "NO"... tried it again... "SEATTLE? NOPE! THE SYSTEM SAYS THIS ISN!T A VALID ADDRESS!" I was so uncomfortable at this point. I told him I said "I don't know why it's saying that. I guess try a different way? Sometimes I can't read my Mom's cursive" I handed him the paper with the address and he just seemed to get more annoyed with me after everything I said. He then asked for a phone number for the guy the book was getting sent to. I didn't know because I don't know who this guy is, my mom does, and when I told him I didn't know, he got irritated with me and said "I HAVE to have a number! THE SYSTEM NEEDS a number!!" I gave him my mom's number for the guy and just proceeded on with the bulls**t because I was honestly getting annoyed and fed up with this mans disrespectful tone and attitude with me. I then told him the account we had in the system but when I asked for the name on the return package to be my mom's, he rolled his eyes and said "sure." When it came time to pick shipping options, he sternly asked me "how fast do you want this shipped?" I hesitantly said "Whatever the cheapest option is. My mom doesn't need it sent over night" He got really annoyed with me at that point (again, IM JUST TRYING TO DO THIS FOR MY MOM!!!) and said "WELL THE CHEAPEST WEVE GOT IS 4.43" At this point, I just wanted to get the hell out of there, I was so uncomfortable. I just said "that's fine I don't care. That shipping method for both envelopes is fine." When I was leaving, I picked up the package because I was honestly just going to take it to the Allen Postoffice. Before I got to the door, once again, he sternly asked "Where are you going with that?!" I was like "uhhh... I'm going...?" And he said "well put it over here." I thought he meant to set it on the ground with the bigger packages, so as I go to set it down, he goes "NO! OVER THERE IN THE BIN! The man picks it up in 10 minutes" I said sorry, quickly placed it in the bin, and left. NEVER EVER COME HERE!!! THE MAN IS SO DISRESPECTFUL TO YOUNG PEOPLE!!! He was even rude to my dad whenever he last went there!! If you want a PLEASANT and RESPECTFUL interaction with someone at a post office, go to the UPS store down the road by Jason's Deli. I made an appointment which I had difficulty getting there on time so I called before arriving. The female I spoke with was kind, informative and encouraging not to worry about time frame just to continue on my way there. I arrive and was greeted by a male who readily knew what I was there for. He was knowledgeable and quick to do his tasks. Made my visit simplified and I felt confident all information would be secured as he was explaining all the following steps that would take place and made sure all information was accurate before submitting. I live right next to eagle postal and they are so courteous and attentive! They are convenient as well. I've never had a bad experience with anything and best of all, they stay open later than regular post offices (even on saturdays!!!) that was my main thing when I found them. We recently got a PO box through them because our apartment complex started becoming shady with our packages that had to be left in the office. We couldnt trust them anymore so we went through eagle postal for the box. They were so nice and let us know how everything worked. The service there is wonderful, though I have never met the owners I don't think. They seem to be the rude people that everyone is talking about. The workers behind the counter have always answered my questions and I never feel like a burden when I go in there, like I do at other post offices. I'll continue to use eagle postal for as long as I live in Allen! Great store read more

The man who owns this place is beyond rude. There was a long line today and a guy came in and quickly and politely asked if he did address changes. He ignored him. The guy asked again and he said you can wait in line like everyone else. The guy and I exchanged puzzled glances like what's his problem. He then said yes we do and you need to wait. The guy left and said he would go to the post office instead. The man who owns the shop then complained about how rude he was prob for the next 5 min. When it was my turn he took my package and said next. I was sort of like okay... walked to my car and then felt like I shouldn't go back and get a receipt since he was clearly very disorganized and angry. Would my package even make it?! The owners are a bit rude. My items are always boxed and ready to ship so no work required of Eagle Postal. My primary complaint is that they nearly double the cost of shipping as compared to the USPS. I sent a package recently. Eagle charged me $25.22. Seemed high so I asked the owner if they add to the cost; he said "a little bit". I have no issue with them making a profit. When I got home I checked the USPS website. It would have cost $13.15 if I went to the post office. I will NEVER use Eagle again. Save your money and go to the post office. read more

This is a good alternative to the congested US Post Office. I am happy that they continue to have regular hours, including Saturdays! I stopped in to pick up stamps & while there, I also got some Birthday & Father's Day cards at the same time. I dropped off about a dozen stamped letters into the Outgoing US Mail slot at this postal center, because it is close to where I live. I saw through the slot that the letters were falling into a big rolling bin and not a secure location and that made me a little nervous. But I told myself I was just being silly and left. But it has now been 3 weeks and not a single letter has been delivered. I can understand maybe one or two letters getting lost. But the whole lot? That is suspicious. The people who own/run this place are seriously dysfunctional..rude, and unprofessional. One of the owners sits out front and smokes. The older man that works there is extremely rude and condescending. Some guy who is always in the back, NEVER offers to help and talks abusively to the older woman that I believe owns the place. I went in to ship a package for an ebay order. I had already purchased postage online through eBay. All I needed was a box and to have it packaged for me. The older gentleman was obviously not happy with his job, but I figured I could deal with him for a few minutes. That was until I told him I didnt need postage because I already had it. He told me my postage wasn't sufficient and I needed to pay 3x as much. I asked how he knew it wasn't sufficient because there was no $ amount printed on the postage label. Well he didnt like me questioning, so he sent me to the back of the line (5 people deep) and told me I had to wait now to get it packaged. I was in a hurry or I would have told him to shove it. Much to his dismay, the wait was only about 3 minutes. Then he says "oh, you again!" Then he proceeds to package my gift up complaining the entire time because I didn't wrap it properly beforehand. Another customer comes in while he is finishing up with me and he says, "oh good, a customer I like". Lol! Never again. Don't let this man try to ruffle your feathers. Just go elsewhere. I would give it 0 stars but I dont have the option. Overpriced and worse yet, extremely rude employee. By the way, my package was sent from the post office and was delivered just fine today. read more

It's like they are annoyed you came in. It's amazing to me that they are still open. I've stood at the counter for 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence. The funny thing is they weren't helping other customers, so I don't know what they were doing. I have been here about 100 times simply because it is close to my house. Im not sure how this place is still open. There are 3 people that work there and they are all miserable and seem to hate each other AND hate their jobs. They are all rude and make me feel like Im a hassle. Ive never seen them smile and the place smells horrible....like cigars and feet. I arrived at 5:51pm (sign says they close at 6) and needed to buy 2 stamps with cash....the lady made it known by her tone and her eyeroll that I was interrupting her closing procedures. I told her that it was obvious that she didn't need or want my business and I will not be back. She said that she values her customers....in 100+ visits Ive never felt valued. Ive spend $$$$ shipping to Norway and Italy and Afghanistan...not another penny will be spent here. I also get 2nd hand embarrassment by the way the jerky guy that is ALWAYS on the computer or his cell phone speaks to her. I found out yesterday that is her son. Shame on him and her for letting him speak to her the way he does. If you need a postal service, there are many many other options....just keep driving. read more

The Notary there filled in a form incorrectly (didn't even manage to print his name on the document) and we had to do it again, doubling the overnight shipping fees. Yes, I could have double checked but I am not familiar with the forms and expected him to do a good job. This is my mailing center of choice for the past three years even though the Allen Post Office is not bad (especially when compared to those in Dallas). The male owner is quirky but nice. I take in whatever I need to mail and he sets it all up for me, he will package it, tape it, label it, and ship it. The lady owner is nice too. They are rough around the edges but have a good heart and make me laugh the way they get along with each other and the old expressions they use, like "now we're cookin with gas!" Easy to make copies and find whatever else I need because they just do it all for me and dont ever make it seem like a burden. It's a laid back and casual environment. First time experience sending a package and we had a very rude elderly man who displayed unprofessional attitude towards us as customers. We requested a tracking number for our package but we were told we could not receive one until after our package was packed and we were told we had to call or go in an hour later then we would get our number. After an hour went by we went to get our tracking number and were told we had to wait for the packer to come in order for the items to be packaged. After his attitude we couldn't even trust that our package would be handled properly so we went back to the store and demanded we get our money back. The elderly man was with another customer so we talked to the lady at the store and she was very nice and handled everything professionally. Then when the lady asked the elderly man about where our package was he replied with "Its already packaged up and ready to go! You still want to cancel it?" in a very curt attitude. Then we told him yes and he tossed our package which had fragile items contained in it and ripped off our sticker and said "There ya go!" again in a very curt attitude. His coworker then said they want their money back on their card because she paid and he responded with "Holy crap." Then we didn't even receive a return receipt showing us our money was returned.
