First time here, it was delicious! Had the lunch specials and queso dip! Yummy The service was great too. We will definitely be back to try other dishes! Sorry we ate the queso before taking the pics.

This was a surprisingly great dining experience! I say surprisingly only because I didn't have much of an expectation and had chosen to dine at other restaurants instead of this one in the past. I will not make that mistake again! I came here for brunch with family and even though we came right before they stopped serving brunch, we were still able to order from the brunch menu and everything came out fantastic! I had the union breakfast which was tasty and filling. It also came with one pancake which at first I was hesitant if it would be sufficient, but their pancakes are big! Both our server and the manager came by to check on us multiple times which was helpful. The restaurant seems to be in a relatively newer shopping center in Katy and looks really nice, both inside and outdoors. They have a bar and also a private dinning room for events. I definitely recommend visiting and I myself will be back for brunch again and also to try their dinner menu!

My wife, her sister and my niece went her for Mother's Day. It took over 3.5 hours yesterday for them to get their food. I even made a reservation for them. I was out of town. Wow! I love this place but this was totally unacceptable. They noticed their food going to other tables. Not sure what happened - but the staff and kitchen was not prepared for Mother's Day.

Went to brunch with my aunt and sister. We arrived at 1030am on a Sunday. Plenty of seating. By 1130, they were a little busier but still lots of seating. It looked like they were setting up for an event in the back room. We ordered cafe lattes, orange juice. I had bananas foster French toast. It was delicious and I finished my plate. I added eggs and bacon on the side for some protein. My sister got the Cali Beni which she liked. It came with potatoes. She said the hollandaise sauce was citrusy and kinda threw her but stilll good. My aunt got the traditional Beni. She loved hers. It also came with potatoes. Neither finished the potatoes.

Union Kitchen is a good place for Personal pizza, burgers or a light plate with cocktails. They have an excellent cocktail menu and a happy hour to make the prices happier. There's almost always an acoustic band playing outside to add to the ambience and the nearby businesses offer alternative for dessert if you're of the mind

Wife and I visited today for lunch. The restaurant has great ascetics and our waitress was great. I would like to add, Our waitress was 5 star. I had the hamburger bowl with an over easy egg. The egg was cooked perfect however, I ordered the patty medium and received very cooked medium well. There was very little cheese and no bacon bits could be found. Overall the hamburger bowl was good but, not worth the price. My wife had the Katie-Mae's Pizza. The pizza was definitely 4 meat and had a great presentation. But once you grabbed a slice, it went down hill from there. The crust both on sides and bottom was like a soft wet piece of bread. My wife ate the toppings off most of the pizza and a select few slices were worth eating the whole slice.

Came in a Monday night to grab a nice meal and a glass of wine. I really enjoy how easy it is to get a table on the week nights and enjoy the selection of wine. Service was fantastic as it usually is. Definitely a place you go casual or dress up- either way you'll be great. My favorite meal there is the salmon with fresh veggies! It's always cooked how I request and the veggies never disappoint.

Went here for Mother's Day and have a great time. We had a reservation and was seated very quickly. I loved that our reservation was honored as most restaurants will still have you wait. The ambiance was really nice. Gave upscale vibes but on a really affordable price. Loved that. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure our needs were met. We also had a few other servers assist when needed. Loved that they tagged teamed the tables. Now The food review....... I had Garlic Shrimp Scampi....... Hated it. Lacked flavor. I had to add salt and pepper and even red pepper flakes to jazz it up... but it didn't help. I was just bland. The shrimp were juicy but the entire dish lacked flavor. But has potential to be a great dish. I will come back but maybe try something different next time.

My Husband and I came to visit here on Friday of "Spring Break 25" From Beginning to End it was Absolutely Amazing place is Beautiful. Our server came and checked on us every Few seconds Which made us more comfortable. Expressed the menu about things we should try which made us order more. Food was VERY GOOD AND Seasoned Very Well. Everything we asked for we Gotten. The Goat cheese with Bacon yam was our first ever trying something so unique and it was phenomenal like wow ! Food was SO FRESH! (We couldn't stop eating) My Husband and I were only disappointed at ourselves after we left was not trying a Dessert. However , Trust we will be back ! 10/10 Recommend! Music was Awesome ,We can't wait to see the live music our server expressed to us . We felt so comfortable Here it was truly a pleasure and we were able to truly enjoy ourselves together.

Fantastic evening out celebrating my Mom's leap year birthday!  Our server Joe picked up on us there to celebrate and was so sweet to my Mom!  Without us even having to ask, Joe handed us the happy hour menus so we could get in an order of appetizers before 6:30!  Everything ordered was so good!  Highly recommend the Bang Bang Shrimp and Spinach Dip.  To top it off, Joe brought out a sweet treat for my Mom with a candle and even did a little jig for her!  She was beyond thrilled!  Fantastic food, service and ambiance!  Can't beat that!

Pete's Colorado Omelet
Erini N.

Colorado omelette was amazin. Well seasoned and unique, and a huge portion. Really enjoyed it. The chicken and waffles was bland though, nothing remarkable and lacking in real flavors. The coffee was considerably cold over and over. The dog friendly patio made it a nice place for the day. Service was lovely

Incredible service and menu choices! My wife and I split the shrimp and lobster dinner - amazing flavor! We will go back soon again!

What a great dining experience! This was my first time here. I was heading into heavy rush-hour…read moretraffic, so I decided to avoid it and stop to have a good meal before heading home. This restaurant definitely aims to please. I was being very specific about what I wanted for my ribeye steak tonight; waitress Jessie was awesome and listened carefully to my requests. And then to make sure that I was absolutely happy, she brought Chef Kenneth to the table to discuss what I was looking for. Kenneth returned from the kitchen with three beautiful-looking ribeye steaks and we discussed which one would give me the best dining experience. He does some of the butchering himself so he knew exactly what I was looking for. I ended up being served the most fabulous Wagyu steak I've had in a very long time. Unlike the other steaks that can have a seasoning on them, the Wagyu is just salt and pepper and then is served with a beautiful compound butter slathered all over it. They make that butter in-house and it has wine and shallots and bone marrow and other wonderful stuff. Trust me, it's amazing! I ordered extra on the side and poured that all over the top of the steak. Delicious!! Sometimes little things count and it was served with grilled onion that was tasty. I could have had a side of mashed potatoes or asparagus, but I decided to treat myself and try the mac-n-cheese instead. Half of that food was my lunch the next day, so I left enough room for dessert, where my choice was the apple pie bread pudding with cinnamon roll ice cream. That was nice and moist and I enjoyed it. Overall, this was a really great dining experience and I'm so glad that bad traffic gave me the excuse to come here. Will definitely plan a return visit!!

I didn't recall anything bad about the place, and given the rave reviews since then, I thought it was time to return. Based on reviews, we showed up early on a Friday evening (~5 pm). Even at that time, it was mostly full, but we were able to snag seats at the bar, which is first come first serve. We ordered the "regular" grilled oysters (5/5), which were anything but regular, as they were topped with peanuts and a really great flavor. I'd get these again. Fair warning, these take 20 minutes to come out, which I didn't mind, but I did not realize that they would not bring us anything else until after the oysters since these are considered an app. I thought they'd just bring things out as they were ready. This meant, we did not get our crawfish until we were already sitting there for an hour. About halfway into the wait for the crawfish (after the oysters), the fried rice (1/5) showed up, and I have to say, it was underwhelming. It came out room temperature, which to me is cold, and I thought this was just how they do it. Except 15 minutes later, the seats next to us got their fried rice, and it came out piping hot. You could still see the steam coming off of it. Besides being cold, I didn't think the fried rice was that good in terms of flavor. I also generally prefer the short grain rice, and this was more of a long grain. Once the crawfish showed up, we were well past an hour, so we dove right into it. Both the garlic butter and combo mix were great flavor - some of the best I've had in Houston. However.... it made me remember why we did not return. About 20% of the crawfish were TINY. And by tiny, I mean they were smaller than my pinky finger. Maybe I'm a crawfish snob, but at this time of the season, there should not be that many tiny crawfish. Maybe a few small ones, but not tiny. Crawfish flavor = 5+/5, crawfish quality = 2/5, crawfish cook = 3/5. Then I made the mistake of ordering a cluster of snow crab. That took another 30+ min to come out, and it was again room temperature. The service at the bar was fine (4/5), but the kitchen service (1/5) is not something I want to experience again, especially not for the crawfish quality/size. Yes, the flavor was amazing, but I'm not fighting for a table for lukewarm food and 30 min wait time for each dish. The pricing was some of the lowest I've seen ($8.99/lb crawfish), but I'd rather pay $1 more at other places for the quality.

We visited Babin's Seafood House in Katy today as an alternative since Landry's Seafood House in Katy has closed, and unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the most disappointing experiences we've had. We arrived around 3 PM on a Friday expecting to take advantage of the lunch menu and happy hour, which is normally offered at that time. However, we were told by the hostess that neither was available. What was frustrating was not just the policy itself, but the lack of clear explanation -- it was only vaguely mentioned that it was due to a holiday, with no real effort to clarify or accommodate. Service throughout the meal was very poor. Our waters were never refilled, and our server was largely inattentive. It felt like we were being overlooked rather than taken care of. The biggest issue came with the food. We specifically ordered seafood dishes due to the Lent season-- specifically it being Good Friday, only to find sausage included in the seafood jambalaya. When we brought this up, the response from the server --" i'm absolutely sure there's no sausage in your dish" and made it seem like we were the problem, rather than addressing the mistake. Nonetheless, the was sausage in the dish and a manager did come by and offered to replace the dish, but even that felt reluctant -- more like an inconvenience than an attempt to make things right. To make matters worse, what was supposed to be a casual lunch turned into an $96 bill for a family of four, without the quality of service or experience to justify it. This was especially disappointing because we've been coming here as a family for years and have generally had good experiences. As a Landry's Select Club member for over 10 years, this was easily one of the worst experiences we've had at any Landry's restaurant. Unfortunately, based on this visit, we do not see ourselves returning to this location anytime soon.
