First time visiting Canada, and first time eating at a restaurant here and it was amazing! We came here for some late breakfast food and we were immediately greeted with a waitress with a massive smile on her face that seated us quickly. The waiters once we sat down were very attentive and super friendly and got out our food and drinks in less than 15 minutes for a group of 4. I got the Belgian waffle with some bacon and both were delicious and I would highly recommend. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This whole place in general is pretty fancy and is extremely clean and clearly well maintained.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I cannot recommend this place enough!

We sat at the bar as we didn't want to wait 20 min for a table for 2, which isn't bad for about 10:30am. Our server at the bar. Jonathan was great. Greeted us immediately with drinks and was attentive throughout our stay. They have standard brunch items and some unique ones. We shared the Dirty Bird, the hot honey Benny and a side of small stack pancakes with the biscoff tiramisu topping. Everything was delicious. As folks visiting from Toronto, we did not expect this caliber of brunch in Windsor.

This was really good! I stopped in with a friend for a quick brunch and was happy we did. We went on a Sunday around 1pm and had to wait about 10 minutes before being seated. Our waitress was kind. Not over the top, but quick, polite and efficient -- can't ask for much more. I enjoyed the Breakfast Pierogi which I will be thinking about for a long time. They were perfectly cooked, fire hot when served and I enjoyed the eggs and onions on top. If you stop by, I think you'd enjoy! Only downfall? They don't do reservations or call ahead seating.

I'll take one of everything please! Their menu is vast and delicious. It has your standard brunch treats, and then some fun and interesting combos as well. Everything was absolutely amazing. We were in Windsor and my husband wanted a Bloody Caesar so I had used help to find a brunch spot with cocktails and found this spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the decor, sleek, modern, but still comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Loved the food, there were so many good options so it was hard to choose but I love baklava so I had to try the baklava french toast and it didn't disappoint. Loved the fresh fruit with the pistachios. It was sweet without being too sweet, very balanced in flavor. My husband loved his lox bagel, a great ratio of ingredients. Had some bacon which was cooked nicely. Service was good overall, specially for how busy they were.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It was so loud I couldn't hear myself talk.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is extremely cramped in restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance isn't nice at all.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was sitting so close to the person next to me that I could hear there entire conversation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Coffee was horrible and bland. It took 45mins to get my food. I had an 3 meat omelette which was salty!! Hash browns were undercooked and bread was stale. Only good thing was the hot chocolate!

I walked by this place in December when the weather was a bit cold, and there was a line outside the door. I'd seen it recommended, so I promised myself I'd return some day. Fast forward to Spring, and there was a line up inside. (They don't take reservations except on Easter Sunday and Mother's Day.) The sadness of solo dining is no companion to talk with during the meal. The joy of solo dining is that I snagged a single seat at the bar almost immediately. I was greeted quickly and cheerfully, and I put an order in for a Red Eye and perused the menu. The Eggs Benedict with salmon caught my eye (they had a much better name for it on the menu, which I forget), and I got a side order of fruit. The coffee was hot and delicious. I took the opportunity to look around the space. Bright and modern, but with some photos of Windsor's past on the walls. Some places have a nice energy to them, and this is one of them. Normally I don't eat dessert, but I had such a glow on from the meal and the experience that I got a salted caramel offering. It was so good, not too sweet, not too salty, a perfect balance Food service was quick and the eggs were poached perfectly, the smoked salmon was clean tasting and delicious, and the addition of fried capers was a nice crunchy texture. The fruit cup was fresh and a nice variety of berries and fruit chunks. Excellent service, a large pleasant atmosphere, and a good place to begin or end an exploration of Walkerville. This will be a must visit the next time I go to Windsor, no matter how long I have to wait for a table

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Arrived a little after 9am and while the restaurant was already full, there was space at the bar for my husband and me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were in Windsor for the weekend and The Twisted Apron was highly recommended and deservedly so. The food was outstanding, coffee was excellent and the service (shoutout to Kim) was so attentive.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Wonderful atmosphere and great service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It gets busy by we were able to get there before the crowd and sat at the bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Delicious Spanish coffee and breakfast pierogies! Where have breakfast pierogies been all my life? Accessibility wise really fantastic. Separate handicapped bathroom with push button for door open and inside for door lock. Spacious and great vertical mad horizontal bars. Really amazing was the emergency call button near the toilet, jic! Overall, highly recommend.

Wow!!! Food was EXCELLENT!!!! So delicious and fresh. The service was decent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had a lot of dogs that day so made the ambiance subpar. They were barking and what not.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But sure didn't detract from the taste of our food. Food came fast and was on point.

First, the restaurant is up two flights of steps and there is no elevator. I injured my knee and walked up the stairs. Second, when I was seated and shown the menu, I was shocked at the very limited options. They only offer white- meat chicken, no rice or plain sides. I was going to try the greens but the server said they put vinegar on them which I don't care for. The Brussels sprouts with corn is a hard pass. I had no other choice but ordered something that I would never put together as a meal: fried catfish, sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts with corn. The fish was fried hard and needed seasoning and the sprouts were forgettable. They brought out hot sauce on the side assuming all people want hot/ spicy food. I wanted tartar sauce and they didn't have a traditional sauce- they had a " Cajun- style sauce." My friend had a crab cake for $25. When I called about parking, the hostess mentioned the cash lot behind the restaurant and.a parking structure across the street. She didn't mention that it was extremely expensive, I paid $24.49 for 1 hour and 6 minutes in the structure. Oh, I almost forgot that they added a 20% gratuity automatically for a party of 2! So, overall, my catfish dinner, 1 crab cake appetizer, and $2 up charge for the Brussels brought my bill to $74. Plus, the $24.49 for parking was a $100 night with no liquor only to have to leave and go eat elsewhere as what I wasted money on left me hungry and unsatisfied for sure.

The chicken still had a nice crisp to it, which is always a gamble with fried food. The flavor absolutely delivered: perfectly seasoned with that signature spicy kick that builds without overwhelming. Juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside--exactly what you hope for. The sides held their own too. The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting. If I had one note, it would be that the spice level might catch you off guard if you're not expecting it. First, the packaging threw me off.. they don't even put the food in a proper container. The chicken was just tossed into a bag on a piece of parchment paper with a slice of hard white bread. It didn't feel sanitary or appealing at all. The chicken itself tasted old, dry, and chewy with barely any flavor. It also didn't look appetizing, which was already a red flag before I even started eating. I kept hoping it would get better, but it didn't. The mac and cheese looked promising when I opened it, but it was very bland and lacked flavor completely. To make things worse, I paid extra (75 cents) for ranch and never even received it. Overall, this experience was a huge disappointment. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but this was honestly a 0/10 for me.

From the second you walk in, it's obvious this place isn't just another bar -- it's a neighborhood hangout with serious personality. The rustic-brick interior and laid-back energy set the tone perfectly for a night out with friends or a chill stop before hitting other downtown spots. The menu is packed with attention-grabbing comfort bar food that goes way beyond typical pub grub -- think flavorful sandwiches, crispy fries, and dishes that pair insanely well with a cold drink. One of the best parts? Wednesday night trivia. It's the kind of event that turns a midweek night into a destination night. Trivia kicks off in the evening and runs until the fun's done, complete with drink specials (like discounted pitchers and fun cocktails) and a crowd that's all about playing hard and laughing harder. Two points that knocked down the score bar service was tooooo slow. I was going to have a second beer and by the time waitress came to apologize about long delay and frustration with bar service, I told her to cancel it. Second, the waitress had to be reminded to bring drink refills after we asked for them. She apologized and got them right away. But, it added to our frustration of delays.
