First time driving to Northwest part of Windsor, looking for a local breakfast place that May serve good pancake. We found this restaurant, occupying 2 doors on one of the plaza. As you enter, its a totally different looks. You may be entering fronting their kitchen, but as you walk to your right, will lead you to the restaurant proper with a uniquely decorated with 2 humongous awesome mirror. Food: was great. We ordered the 'bit of everything' with sides of extra ham, and toasted bread. Of course, ordered coffee too, and ending up getting a refill. Service: was great, as the place has an open concept that simply raising your hand they will easily see and come to you for anything of your request. Ambiance: love the motif, and breakfast setting... open concept! Cost: average cost, and May spend approx $30 for 2, leaving the place sufficiently full. Overall summary : enjoyed our breakfast and will surely comeback on future visit to Windsors northwest area again. read more

This is in regards to the goderich ontario location. Tips are not taxed on customers bill but they are charging the tax on the servers tips then a tip out percentage goes to other employees that don't get tips. They are not right, that's a big no no, so please if you can pay cash to your server if you choose to tip. read more

Loved how this restuarant was set up, well put together and roomy. The server was super friendly, take not servers back in the states. Food ALWAYS tastes better in Canada. My Grandson invited me to his favourite restaurant, Stacks. He went there for his 10th birthday last week, and gave it 5 stars! He told me the servers were so nice and the bacon was crispy, he also loves the French toast. I will also give it 5 stars because my eggs benny were the very best! The eggs were so good that his sister stole one of mine. Service was kind and fast and it was so sweet of everyone to stop and say hello to this young critic. Cute restaurant tucked in the corner of a new Plaza beside the World Gym. Nice black and white decor with a beautiful painting of the ambassador bridge, a landmark in Windsor. Waited 10 minutes for a table as they had 2 parties in front of us. (They don't take reservations.) There's a small patio outside but it was a bit too chilly to sit out there for long. My friend ordered the special stacked burger and it was like nothing I've ever seen before. Potato pancakes (as the bun) holding together peameal bacon, lettuce, cheese and another layer of potato pancake before the beef patty. On top of it all was a sunny side up egg with barbeque sauce drizzled around it. It was difficult to eat and had to be deconstructed but was delicious with great flavour. I had the smoked salmon Benny that came with 2 potato pancakes on the side. The hollandaise sauce was delicious and creamy and the eggs were done to perfection with the enough yolk to run and soak up the English muffin and coat the salmon. The salmon wasn't as good as some others I have tried but all in all the portions was perfect and with excellent service. We were in a rush, so we walked up to the counter to pay. This morning, I came here with my mom and some of her retired friends for brunch on a mid Monday morning. I've seen this place driving down Lauzon road plenty of times when I have come home to visit family and friends, and this morning we had finally went. This quaint, tiny restaurant is located off of Lauzon and Tecumseh road, next to the tanning salon. We walked in, and of course it was packed and from the reviews I've read it's always packed. We walked in and waited for about 5 minutes until we were seated by the waiter who looked a lot like Ricky Gervais, the actor. He was funny, personable and wasn't afraid to joke around with us. He took our drink orders, then came back in about 5-10 minutes for our food order. Again, this place seems to be always busy, so the wait times are a bit longer than expected. I ordered the short stack cinnamon swirl pancakes, and my mom ordered the classic short stack pancakes with a side of peameal bacon. While we waited for our meals, we chatted up, as retired ladies do (I'm not retired, I was just in town today). When our meals came out, they were beautiful, hot, delicious and tasty. Mine tasted exactly like cinnamon buns with a tasty cream cheese icing on top with a dollop of whipped cream. The flavour of the pancakes were perfect and cooked to perfection. The prices are decent, and the place is fairly loud, and always packed. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the pancakes. The best thing when you come to this place, is to bring your appetite, and come early because it gets busy quickly; otherwise you'd be waiting a bit to sit down in their small cafe. I love coming to new places that open in my hometown, and this place is definitely worth the trip out for breakfast, brunch and/or lunch! read more

I've visited this cute little place a few times now and it's one of my new favourite breakfast/brunch spots in Windsor. Their pancakes are incredible and when they jack them up with sweet/savoury/creative toppings, they only get better! The coffee is delicious and the service is always pleasant. The mini stacks (6 tiny pancakes) are perfect for sharing or adding on to a meal, the short stack is PLENTY of food with four big pancakes and the big stack is just huge. Do yourself a favour and get out here to try it for yourself but don't forget to bring your appetite. It's so worth the drive! read more

Ate here several months ago but forgot to write a review. I had been wanting to try this place for some time and came here for breakfast one morning. It's pretty small inside so we did have to wait but it wasn't terribly long. I got the fruit topped pancakes in the mini size. It was delicious and just the right amount of food plus got a side of eggs. It does seem a little pricey for pancakes but they do put elaborate toppings on them. We did really love our pancakes. The bridge decor on the wall is also a cool feature. If you haven't tried this place I'd add them to your list. read more

To start, I was really excited about coming here after reading the other reviews. I knew what to expect trying to eat breakfast on a Saturday so I went early enough expecting a bit of a wait (9:30) but this place is small and the execution isn't the greatest. Pretty sure the dining area was bigger than the dining area. You walk in basically where you're inches away from people already sitting eating. It's awkward on a busy Saturday morning. We were sat 2 tables from the front door so not only were we freezing from the door constantly opening, it felt like people waiting were practically breathing on you waiting for their own table. I tried the potato pancakes that came with my salmon benny first and it wasn't cold but it was cool. I didn't like that. They give you a nice amount of salmon on the benny. Pancakes were really great. I tried the cinnamon swirl and my friend had peanut butter and chocolate I believe. The service and price were both great. But unfortunately, the execution of the restaurant set up trumps the great tasting food and I wouldn't be a frequent customer here. read more

The food was wonderful great place go breakfast. The prices were very good. The service was very friendly.

Food was okay but price a little high, but that was kind of ok but the problem was the terrible service. I had to wait over 10 minutes to get a coffee after I was seated and greeted. Then I sat over 30 minutes to get my food we ordered all the while waiting another 10 minutes to get a coffee refill after our cups were empty. This is probably the worst service I've ever received.
