The waitress Autumn was helpful and friendly and walked through the menu items as well as Halal options. The wrap was presented with fresh slices of oranges and mandolined slices of what must be the largest cucumbers in ontario. AND, even the potatoes, usually a meh throw-away item, were deliciously grilled and spiced with a seasoning salt that has just the right amount of paprika. My dining partner had a veggie omelet that I sampled and found good enough to take me one step closer to returning to vegetarianism. (We'll see) The ambience was comfortable and the place was spotless. The staff and service are top-notch, attentive and never disruptive. All were friendly and seemingly sincere. Unlike so many other places where the servers greet you with a bland scripted attempt at small talk and chattiness. Rita, Reina, and Roxanne make Brunch a warm, welcoming place. I wonder though, if having a 1st name beggining with "R" is a pre-requisite for employment. Whatever, this has quickly become a favorite. Attempted to charge me for a side of sausage when the kids meal comes with sausage. Was informed we had to leave (an hour and a half after being there) and waitress did not ask if we needed boxes, again I have to stress she did not check on us during consumption of our meal I had to go and ask for a box. Extreme anxiety filled experience. Definitely not an "old school diner" feel even though the decor and name says otherwise. Do better for others as we will not be back!
