The crew did an awesome job for a very fair price. They trimmed and laced 3 eucalyptus trees. Once again, Tyler and his team did an amazing job for us! I called Tyler on a Friday and he came that day to do a quote. He is the nicest, easiest going person and definitely knows his business! We had several items that needed to be done. They trimmed 4 fan palms in front and several huge oaks and had to remove one that was leaning over our back fence. After they did this, huge boulders are now visible and make for a beautiful backdrop that we didn't realize was there due to the large oaks! They also trimmed back an oak above our shed and removed a tree by our patio which was a sappy nuisance and ground the stump. I was hesitant to take it out, but Tyler showed me pics after they removed it that the inside had some disease and was completely rotting out so it could've fallen at any time and possibly damaged our house! They also trimmed some high hedges along our side fence we wanted evened out. Besides this, after they arrived I asked if they could grind out 9 (!) more stumps and he had no problem adding that in since they had the grinder here and cut us a great deal to add those in. Most people probably would not like this surprise of a lot of extra work, but Tyler was happy to help as always! Tyler and his team are on time, hard working and so efficient. He brought two teams and they knocked out all this work in approx 7 hours. Besides that, they also always do an amazing job of cleaning up when they're done and will leave you wood or mulch or whatever you want from the job. Otherwise, they clean it all up and haul it away, so you're left with a clean property and beautifully trimmed trees! I can't recommend Tyler and his crew enough and this is one item I'll never have to deal with getting several quotes for jobs again. Tyler and team did a good job removing a big branch that came down after a storm. They shredded all the loose branches and cut the big pieces into fireplace logs. Due to bees I had to make arrangements ahead of time to have them removed. Tyler had to come back later to cut the broken branch flush to get it a nice finish look. read more

We hired the Treekeeper to trim multiple trees on our property and to remove two dead/dying trees. We were really impressed with how hard their team worked from the get-go. They were fast, meticulous, and skilled in terms of knowing which branches to cut and how to shape our trees. We have a cluster of Canary Palms that we were really concerned about in terms of the risk of fusarium/date palm wilt. Tyler assured us they'd be using new chains on these trees and that they sterilize prior to cutting. They did a great job in a short time. We received around 5 quotes prior to selecting the Treekeeper. Treekeeper's prices were reasonable, Tyler was extremely knowledgeable, with many people recommending them locally (Poway), so that is why we selected them and I feel good about the choice. The scope of work was pretty significant. Thin/Shape - (1) Bushy Yates Eucalyptus tree on hillside. Remove (1) small Liquidambar to stump, and remove (1) small Eucalyptus to stump on hillside by gate, Trim out deadwood from Liquidambar tree, Reduce and trim back side of Bushy Yates Eucalyptus tree (close to house), Thin/shape (2) Carrotwood trees, Trim (1) large Ironbark Eucalyptus tree, Remove (3) small Eucalyptus trees to stump on hillside, Remove (2) Sycamore trees and stump grind, Trim/remove all dead rows of each of the Canary Island Date Palm trees (new blade or fully sterilized blades only), Trim (1) tall Mexican Palm tree. They got this all done in less than a full day. Fast and effective. I would hire them again. Lastly, they did a fantastic job cleaning up. Our yard looked so much better. read more

Thanks to the crew from Treekeeper that removed our dead Aleppo pine. We tried to nurse this wonderful majestic pine to health but alias it was time to move on. Their worked spanned our neighbor's high fence but they carefully worked for hours dismantling this giant into manageable pieces. No missteps, damage to other landscape, the fence and best of all no injuries during this big job. We have used Treekeeper for years for all of our landscape trimming and removals. As usual, the guys did a terrific job trimming and lacing out various types of trees on the property. The palm trees were perfectly trimmed with the lower fronds removed as they turn yellow and hang down when they are due for a pruning. Our Sycamore tree was laced out and the "sucker branches" removed. We also have Jacaranda trees and they too look great after a good thinning out. The job always takes the better part of a day but after they finished, everything was perfectly cleaned and swept up. The first work they completed for me was trimming 3 eucalyptus and a large pine in February. They took great care on all the work, from set-up to clean-up. Debbie followed-up to make sure the work was completed to my satisfaction. The eucalyptus have filled in beautifully and the pine looks great. They were the first company I called when I realized I had a dead tree near the house that needed to be removed. My experience this time was as positive as my first. My next door neighbors used the Treekeeper's for some trees that they needed trimming. On the day if rhe trimming, the trucks and wood chipper came down my driveway, instead of the intended neighbors driveway since the tree that was to be trimmed was closer to my property line. I was ok with that as long as they cleaned up after themselves (they did), they were in and out in 20 minutes. My kid and I enjoyed watching the wood chipper going! The truck and chipper made it back up the driveway safely (we live below street level, hard to see coming out of the driveway). What I didn't like, was that there were significant grease stains on my driveway that came from the truck or wood chipper, that didn't show due to the shadowing of other trees at the time of day. I didn't see the stains until I was leaving and pulling up the driveway a couple of hours later :( I called and left a message with The Treekeeper's and let them know what happened and I was also able to send them pictures of the stains. They got back to me, first thing the next morning to let me know they were very sorry and would get a crew member to come out and clean the stains. Renee came out the next morning to take care of the stains. She was quick and efficient. Taylor, from the office, called shortly later to verify that Renee did come out and if everything was ok. Stuff happens, I wasn't upset, only if they wouldn't have came out to take care of it. They did a great job! read more

They trimmed our tall palms and cut down a very large eucalyptus tree. They were on time. Cost was reasonable. Workers were very knowledgeable and courteous. The job was quoted without hauling the dead tree away so we expected a big mess. We were surprised when they were able to mulch the majority of the tree and raked up the small branches!
