I have a special tree situation in my courtyard ... I had a very detailed (creative) request that other companies in the past were unable to provide. This may sound ridiculous but I wanted shaping similar to a precision haircut. More of strategic placement for privacy along with planning for future growth. This is above my courtyard and really has an umbrella effect when properly cared. Previous disaster when just chopped up and needs to start over!!! We had a 50 foot Lemon-scented Gum Tree (Corymbia citriodora) - otherwise known as a "big ol'e Eucalyptus" that hadn't been trimmed in about 3 decades. A large branch had fallen down and got caught in some more branches. Had it fallen completely down, it could have easily killed someone. Well, I went on the NextDoor app and made some inquiries about giving it a nice haircut, and was referred to CM PT&LM. Fortunately, the owner Chuck happened to be not far from our area at the time, and made a trip to our place within a couple of hours. He patiently took time to explain to us the nature of these trees, and made his recommendations confidently and fairly. We decided it was well worth it, and by 11am the next day his 3 men were here hard at work. Seeing that one worker up there with really tall tree-trimming bucket truck reminded me of the photo of Gene Simmons on the gatefold of the KISS ALIVE II album! The three of them were done in record time-and this included chipping everything they had cut down. When they left, the yard looked all nice and clean and neat-you almost wouldn't have known they were here. And the tree looked so handsome that we were almost ready to give it a necktie for a job interview the next day. Look no where else! CM Precision Tree and Landscaping are the best. We had a tough project for them. They had to cut our neighbors huge pine tree that was hanging over our yard. They cut about 50% of the tree and had to access the tree from our yard, which was a bit of a trick. They did an amazing job. The neighbors had pots and plants all over the area under the tree. They covered everything up and nothing was damaged. All of the tree was cut and taken down through our yard. They roped all of the branches down and there was no damage to any trees or plants in our yard. Their team is professional and hard-working. Chuck and Pedro are miracle workers! Our Mulberry tree was uprooted and fell onto our home during tropical storm Hilary. Chuck Morse from CM Precision Tree & Landscape Maintenance Inc and his crew took great care removing and disposing of the tree. We used CM Precision Tree service to remove two cypress trees that were well over 40 ft high and 8 ft from our home. We were impressed with how they protected the surrounding area, were able to cut them down using a boom truck and did a thorough clean up afterward. Four 40+ foot Italian Cyress trees needed to be removed and stumps grounded with two additional large 20 ft high neighboring trees needing to be removed as well. Five Japanese Black Pines needed shaping and trees along 50 ft of back yard needed trimming. This was all done in ONE DAY. Pedro, the lead arborist is very informative and attentive to detail. His crew was fantastic. The entire area along with our neighbor's property was treated with respect and left clean. Our neighbor used CM Precision Tree to trim back their huge pine trees that border our fence. Although we have not needed to utilize their services, we have been incredibly impressed with their level of professionalism and diligence in maintaining and cleaning up after themselves in our yard. After they finished their job at our neighbor's, they came over to our yard and cleaned up the debris. When we needed to do some follow up in regards to clean up, Chuck responded back to us same day and already had solutions. We live up in the mountains around Alpine and the fear of a wildfire is never far from mind. So, when we stopped watering the acre of land adjacent to the house, it was clear that the trees weren't going to make it long term and would be an even worse fire hazard this year. CM Precision Trees was the correct choice to help. They were very good with communication and they were on-time and got a tremendous amount done in two days. I have two dead trees that need to be removed. Pedro was very knowledgeable and honest. He told me what could cause the trees dead and also recommended a few plants for replacement when I asked him. Our 4 'Fern Pine' trees developed spider mites and were in danger of becoming very sick, Pedro came and diagnosed and looked at my giant Brazilian Pepper tree which was leaning and my 2 Queen Palms which had 5 to 6 seed pods hanging per tree... the quote to completely clean and trim all 7 trees was well within our budget. They came at 8am and had the palms and the pines done by noon, and the pepper was done by 3:30... the debris was completely cleaned up and carted away by 4pm. i can't say enough good things about these guys, all of them! CM Precision trimmed 4 palms (20-30' tall) last mo. and removed a giant Allepo pine (pictured), a group of 4 smaller palms and removed stumps all in one day! The were spectular to watch, all working in precision and safety, constantly while they took that giant tree down. Fence and property was protected and they clean up quickly. They blew the pine needles off our new roof, which made me even happier. I will have so much less work to do on our large property here. Chuck and his foreman Pedro were responsive and timely with an estimate for the removal of 2 gigantic (80ft+) palm trees from my backyard. CM was price competitive with the 2 other licensed, bonded, and insured vendors I requested quotes from and I ultimately selected them because of their professionalism and experience. I could not be more satisfied nor impressed with the job Pedro and his crew did. The palms were removed quickly and safely and my property was left in better shape than when they started. I had mostly removed a loquat tree a couple of weeks prior to the palm removal and had a giant pile of branches and leaves as well as 2 feet or so of trunk that I had not got around to cutting down. The guys took away all of the branches and finished my project without my asking- unheard of.
