Tom was very quick to respond for an estimate and was the best offer. We talked about what needed to get done and he wrote it down on his estimate sheet as we went. His crew removed a dead cypress hedge and replaced it with a new one, trimmed a tree that hung over my property line and removed some dead shrubs in the yard. He fit the job in within 4 days of me accepting his offer. He checked in at the end of the job to make sure everything was good. During the estimate we talked about trimming the remaining hedges, but forgot to write it down, I brought it up and he's coming back to make sure they also get trimmed at no extra cost. We had a horrible creeping fig that had been neglected for years by the previous owner and was damaging the house. I will try to make this review succinct to not belabor the message, but I had to relate to anyone on Yelp that is looking for exceptional customer service and quality with their tree care needs, please consider TC Environmental. Tom, without question, was prompt with timing, continually in touch throughout the process of my somewhat small/moderate size work (significant cutting of a 30' tall jacaranda and removal of two 12' foot trees in the front, and removal of 3 12-15' high honeysuckle bushes in the back corner of the property), and had the job completed within a few days of estimate. The cost of the job was beyond fair, and my home was left in terrific condition afterwards. TC Environmental, in echoing the sentiments of another reviewer, is deserving of the highest praise, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again for additional needs (we plan to utilize them for a small project in the future). Note: I provided before and after photos of the bushes only, because I didn't take a picture of the front. We didn't uproot the bushes because they were too close to the property fence, and with the amount of wires running through these bushes, it was a wonder that the job was done so meticulously. I can not say enough good things about Tom and his crew. 6 months ago I had a giant eucalyptus cut down by another company but left the trunk. I called around to get mutiple estimates to remove it and a couple palms next to it. He also noticed a palm tree by my retaining wall and suggested it be removed before it becomes a problem. Tom was professional and explained the process and other things I could do myself to save money on cleaning my backyard and future maintenance to ensure nothing grows back. He also was able to take out over 20 shrub stumps in my front yard for a reasonable price as a package deal. Tom and crew came out and removed a 20' Mexican Palm and two 10' Yuccas. The Mexican Palm had overgrown two sprinkler valves and into an existing fence as well as over a portion of our patio. After removing the trees they ground the remaining stumps until there was no trace of them left. Including the portions in the fence and on the patio. Tom replaced the valves and made sure the sprinkler system was in working order. All done for the reasonably quoted price.
