Tom and his team did another great job in our yard. Trees and hedges trimmed and shaped. Grape vine removed. All debris was cleaned up and disposed of. On time, professional and friendly. A great experience from the initial visit for the free estimate to the handshake at the end of job. read more

Tom and his crew are fantastic.Quick response and fair pricing. We had several trees next to our house on our patio where the roots were growing underneath the house. Communication is great, they showed up when they said they would, removed 4 trees, ground the stumps or dug out by hand. Highly recommend and would use again. read more

A City truck stopped @ our house with 2 men and a chain saw to trim trees in the parkway. I asked if we could have our tree guy (TC Environmental) do the job instead. We got a thumbs up informing us that they'd drop in again soon to ensure the work got done. Super nice City guys! Tommy of TC Environmental picked up my call after the 1st ring per usual. He happened to be nearby & popped over offering a very fair fee. TC Environmental has trimmed our trees before and planted some too! They do exceptional work!!! We have always been in good hands with Tommy and his crew. Excellent owner, workers, & company! read more

We have been very pleased with the work Tom and his crew have done for us over the years. We had a lot of work to be done this time - a major haircut on our big podocarpus tree, multiple citrus trees, hedges, heavenly bamboos, camellias and dwarf magnolias. Tom manages his company well. He has timely responses and communicates through both text and email. The prices are reasonable for the work done, and the quality of the work and the clean up were excellent. We'll call Tom again when our podocarpus gets out of control! Thank you, Tom and crew. read more

Tom and team are my go-to for any tree trimming and removal. I've used them multiple times and their quality of work it top tier!! Highly recommend! read more

Tom is great! He's professional, knowledgeable, reasonably-priced, and quick. He took care of our Chinaberry Tree after a big branch broke - making a clean cut so it can heal and trimming the top to prevent future breakage, which gives us peace of mind since it's close to our house. He also removed a tree for us when we first moved in that couldn't be saved. Always excellent work - he's our go-to tree guy! read more

Tom was very quick to respond for an estimate and was the best offer. We talked about what needed to get done and he wrote it down on his estimate sheet as we went. His crew removed a dead cypress hedge and replaced it with a new one, trimmed a tree that hung over my property line and removed some dead shrubs in the yard. He fit the job in within 4 days of me accepting his offer. He checked in at the end of the job to make sure everything was good. During the estimate we talked about trimming the remaining hedges, but forgot to write it down, I brought it up and he's coming back to make sure they also get trimmed at no extra cost. Awesome to work with, for future needs I'll definitely be reaching out again. read more

Did great work removing a large tree from back yard. Efficient and polite. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend them. I've used them twice over the last five years. I have very tall hedges and large trees that require a lot of work. Tom is very communicative, professional, knowledgeable and his crew did amazing clean up. They put everything back once they were finished. Also, they are very careful about disinfecting their equipment to prevent spreading diseases among trees. Will continue using them! read more

Excellent tree service. They never disappoint. Reasonably priced. The owner is very knowledgeable.

My young trees were not doing well, drooping leaves and yellowing. Tom quickly identified the problem and we're excited to see them recover soon. Thanks so much for your time, knowledge, and care! read more

Incredible experience working with Tom and his team. He came recommended from a demo company we were working with (referrals are always a great start) and was way more responsive than any other company in the area. I left multiple voicemails to other companies and got either no call back or crazy long wait times. Tom showed up the next day and was able to remove a problem tree the same day. This was huge as the tree was holding up other projects. Toms price was very reasonable and we'll be using him on all future projects and be referring him to clients. Highly recommend. Look no further. read more

On time, did exactly what he said and was very helpful about other issues on the property. We had a horrible creeping fig that had been neglected for years by the previous owner and was damaging the house. TC took care of it plus a lot of other problem plants that were noted in the inspections. Underneath was a beautiful chimney which we can now see. read more

Great experience working with Tom. He really stands by his work and cares about making his customers happy. We had issue with our drip system and he gave us a reasonable quote. I also appreciated him itemizing everything so we knew exactly what we were paying for. Our drip system was still giving us issues so he came back two more times until he got it working again. It's hard to find people that you can trust. Highly recommend hiring Tom for your projects! read more

Tom and his crew did a great job root pruning an avocado tree for me and putting in slab stepping stones. Very efficient, prompt and thorough. Recommend. read more

Landscape designer recommended that we trim back our 60' Torrey pine because it was so lush that there was concern that high gusts could make it susceptible to falling. TC had to right reviews and we liked that Tom was the one point of contact for everything. We were worried about keeping the aesthetics of the tree, and were thrilled with the results. I'm addition, the job ran smoothly and Tom was gracious with sharing his knowledge. We appreciate the wonderful work. We had a gorgeous tree before the work and a gorgeous tree after the work was complete. What a relief! Thank you, Tom! read more

I will try to make this review succinct to not belabor the message, but I had to relate to anyone on Yelp that is looking for exceptional customer service and quality with their tree care needs, please consider TC Environmental. Tom, without question, was prompt with timing, continually in touch throughout the process of my somewhat small/moderate size work (significant cutting of a 30' tall jacaranda and removal of two 12' foot trees in the front, and removal of 3 12-15' high honeysuckle bushes in the back corner of the property), and had the job completed within a few days of estimate. The cost of the job was beyond fair, and my home was left in terrific condition afterwards. TC Environmental, in echoing the sentiments of another reviewer, is deserving of the highest praise, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again for additional needs (we plan to utilize them for a small project in the future). Note: I provided before and after photos of the bushes only, because I didn't take a picture of the front. We didn't uproot the bushes because they were too close to the property fence, and with the amount of wires running through these bushes, it was a wonder that the job was done so meticulously. Thank you again! read more

Tom and his crew did a really wonderful job removing several palm trees from my yard. One of them was a little taller than my two story house and another was about 3 feet in diameter and maybe 18" away from my new wood fence. Tom showed up with his crew and personally removed the palm near my fence and his crew did a great job with the others. Also, for very modest additional cost, I got some spur of the moment tree trimming and junk removal. I wholeheartedly recommend TC Environmental! read more

I can not say enough good things about Tom and his crew. 6 months ago I had a giant eucalyptus cut down by another company but left the trunk. I called around to get mutiple estimates to remove it and a couple palms next to it. He also noticed a palm tree by my retaining wall and suggested it be removed before it becomes a problem. Tom was professional and explained the process and other things I could do myself to save money on cleaning my backyard and future maintenance to ensure nothing grows back. He also was able to take out over 20 shrub stumps in my front yard for a reasonable price as a package deal. He showed up the next day with his amazing two workers and had everything done and cleaned up by 1pm. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, honest and fair priced tree service look no further. read more

Tom and his 4-man crew did excellent work in trimming several trees. I appreciated that he, as the business owner, stayed the whole time and directed the crew. They did a great job of trimming on a steep slope, and cleaning up the debris. Definitely would recommend them. read more

TC Environmental was great at trimming my tree and removing a bush. They were very friendly, reasonable and efficient. Thank you!

Tom and his crew came back and finished cleanup on a major tree trimming job that they worked on all day yesterday for my very large Chinese Elm and a 45-year old pine tree. They are hard and professional workers, very thorough and respectful of making certain the entire yard is clean and looking good after. My trees are beautiful. I've used Tom and his people for about twenty years. The Yelp reviews emphasize his quick response, expertise, and attention to detail. It's all true. I value the trust and reliability that comes with working with Tom. If I could give TC Environmental more than five stars, I would. read more

Tom and his crew removed a large tree that was threatening our foundation; his crew also built us a vegetable planter per my request. Tom is very professional and efficient! He even came back to bring us more dirt after our naughty doggies got into the box and dug our a bunch of dirt. Thank you Tom! TC Environmental was terrific. I had a four trees (2 fruit/2 shade) that had not been trimmed in years. Plus our very large loquat tree had split down the middle. Tom was prompt on his appointment to review the work. He gave me an estimate on the spot. It was the best of the three I received. They came on time for the work. The did the job as we asked and they cleaned up. Really pleased. Plan to have them back for another job. Thanks. read more

Tom and crew came out and removed a 20' Mexican Palm and two 10' Yuccas. The Mexican Palm had overgrown two sprinkler valves and into an existing fence as well as over a portion of our patio. After removing the trees they ground the remaining stumps until there was no trace of them left. Including the portions in the fence and on the patio. Tom replaced the valves and made sure the sprinkler system was in working order. All done for the reasonably quoted price. Extremely knowledgeable and finished the work by cleaning up the entire area. Tom and his crew were great to work with. Very happy that we chose TC Environmental and highly recommend them for all your tree service needs. read more

I called to get an estimate to have several trees removed from my front and back yard. Thomas came to my house that afternoon. He gave me a fair price and answered all my questions as to what I could expect, (timeframe for work to be complete, cleanup and take away etc). The following Monday, he and his assistance showed up on time, did all the work we had agreed upon. I was completely satisfied with his work and will definitely keep his company in mind when friends and neighbors want a referral. Thank you for a job well done! read more

Tom and his crew at TC Environmental are the best at what they do-trees and large plantings. I have had many companies come in to work on my garden and I've been so disappointed many times over- not showing up on time-not doing what we agreed upon-crew wasn't amenable-I was left to clean up after they left etc. When I found Tom and TC Environmental I struck gold. This man knows what he's doing-a total professional with the background and education for doing it right. His crew was amazing as well. I can't say enough good things about my recent experience with them. Just know you have the best when you go to Tom and his company. read more

Wonderful company to work with! Tom responded to my request for a quote in under 10 mins, and I had an appoint the next morning to look at my project. Tom arrived promptly at the scheduled time and after looking at what was needed, gave me a quote on the spot. I had asked for two other quotes for my project, one did not even respond to my request, and the other never spoke with me or came out. All done via text and I'm guessing Google Earth?? They then took a week to get back to me with the quote. Made me appreciate Tom's professionalism and outstanding customer service. When the team came out to do the project, they were polite, efficient and did a good job cleaning up the site. Overall a great company to work with and I will recommend them to my friends and would use them again. Thank you again Tom. read more

Tom came over to give me an estimate to clean out our backyard in order for us to landscape & put in a privacy fence so we can enjoy and make the most of our backyard year-round! The Crew came over to clean out our backyard which was full of dead trees, overgrown plants, hedges & shrubs from years of neglect. As a bonus they cleaned out the yard full of weeds, mulched down all of the tree stumps. The crew worked fast, got the job done and was very professional.
