Very friendly, very helpful. And as a bonus, I was told I could drop off some household batteries I had been saving to recycle (AA, AAA, C, D, etc) and a old water heater at no cost (I am a RDS customer so make sure to call first otherwise there may be a fee for that). Also I have worked in customer service before, and sometimes it IS okay to hang up on a customer, it depends on the situation, but sometimes you can only do so much to help someone and they just want to vent, or want the impossible! I was told Jaime was on the phone for over 35 minutes and did everything she could to try to help, but the call had reached the point where nothing more productive could be done. Sadly this happens sometimes, even to the best customer service representatives. From what I have seen the RDS people are very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to help even the most demanding customers.

They have been doing auto pay on my account for six years now and I've never even called them…read morebefore. This time was looking for reduce my costs, and called to cancel one of my services. I rent a dumpster and the price has slowly creeped up to $213/mo. I also rent the trash cans and that has slowly creeped up to $93/every OTHER month. I don't need the trash cans, so called to discuss and drop the $93/every other month charges. Well, the lady on the phone told me that they have been charging me for recycling twice. $45 of the $93 is for recycling and $45 of the $213 is recycling. And I haven't been recycling bc they told me with a dumpster I didn't need to. She said someone would call me to talk about credits to my account. Nothing. Called back a week later, had this same conversation. It's been a week now and no one has called me back. This same conversations asked again to have the $93/every other month servicec cancelled, she told me she couldnt' do it, whoever was calling me back would do it. Well, no one called yet again, so I had to do a chargeback with my bank maybe now they will credit my acct propertly. I don't appreciate being promised something then ignored.

Communication was terrible from start to finish -- vague answers, no accountability, and zero professionalism. What should've been a simple haul turned into a stressful mess.
