    Original chicken strips
    David T.

I went to the Crux Fermentation as it had a large outdoor seating area that was perfect for dogs. Stopping by, it was filled with people and pups, so basically my idea of a great time. There's two small parking lots and tons of street parking, so that wasn't a concern. The Tin Pig is current one of two food trucks outside and I'm a sucker for chicken strips and fries, so I had to indulge. A good portion of food for the price and the flavor was amazing! The chicken was still moist and not dried out but had a good crust to it. Not super flaky, but still crunchy for a chicken strip. I got the original, but there are a ton of different chicken flavor options. The fries were seasoned with this Cajun-like rub that was delicious. Served with a side of ranch and fry sauce, I highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back and try out other items in the menu next time I'm in Bend!

Delicious, huge, flavorful sandos and burgers. Honestly, an easy 5 stars... with one MAJOR fix. Their fries are absolute trash. It's the sweet seasoning that ruins it all. Aside from that they were cooked perfectly and crispy shoestrings. But that damn sweet seasoning needs to go. Maybe listing the "seasoning" ingredients on the menu would've been helpful. Had we known we would've simply said leave them plain, eaten them all happily and given 5 stars. Sadly 3 baskets of fries were buried in the trash... along with their seasoning. Change the seasoning and earn the 5th star ;0)

    Sonoran and Nashville chicken strips.

Food truck permanently parked on the Crux yard. Great menu, as we'd been travelling we were good with chicken strips tonight. Flavours were amazing. Wife got the Sonoran and it was all the Mexican flavors you'd expect on a strip - really nice. I got the Nashville - it's spicy. More of a rub vice sauce so a little dry but the flavour and spice were amazing. They ensure the fry's get hit with the same rubs so flavours all blend. Definitely try this truck out if you're drinking beer at Crux.

absolutely amazing food from tip to toe. Just amazing perfect fries, perfect chicken and sauce. I could order by the 5 gallon bucket. It's nestled in a very busy fun area and a great alternative. To the more standard food that you might get at a place that serves beverages when grabbed a flight of cider and on the way back to the hotel I grabbed dinner here I could imagine eating her every day and never growing old of it but that's way perfect. Sometimes you don't have as much to say when things are so simple that you don't understand how every place isn't doing it right. A quick sauce, shoe string fries, chicken breaded and fried... it really does seem like it should be just that simple but rarely it is. This place makes it seem effortless and after looking through many of the other tables nearby in the pod, it was very obvious that this was the right choice.

Great food! Quick service! Tough to beat the view on a good day as well. Can't believe how good the chicken sandwiches are here... we got a few and split them but loved the rogue (buffalo chicken and blue cheese). The fries were great as well!

    Fried green tomatoes

We decided to get a chicken sandwich and some fried green tomatoes. I was so excited to see that they had the fried green tomatoes! While they were good, they maybe need a little seasoning and maybe a little more crisped up. I will say moving everything in the basket with them makes them a lot better then just on their own. It seems that for $9, they could maybe add a couple more as well. Chicken sandwich was great, no complaints. The fries I liked, but others thought they were a little too sweet.

Best chicken sandwich in Bend Oregon. Amazing. Amazing. I absolutely love it. Go with the Nashville. Hot, hot, hot and fun accepts credit cards. Has good booze nearby at Crux. People who work here remind me of the saying, keep Bend weird. Tune in to salty cracker on Rumble app.

Really liked the simple, traditional fried chicken sandwich! The fries were great and the owner was engaging. Highly recommend you try it.

After doing an exhaustive search of the local Bend fooderies that offer a Cuban sandwich and reading several of the resounding reviews for Manzanita Grill, I decided to try the Manzanita Grill Food Truck (just off Empire). Wow! Truly AWESOME!! What a great Cuban sandwich!!...and I got coleslaw for my side item. Maybe the best coleslaw I have ever eaten and I LOVE coleslaw!! Pricing was very reasonable! Services was very friendly and really fast! Left me very impressed - I will be back soon and often!! 10 out of 10 guys! Thank you!

Manzanita Grill's road flag is the only indication that there's delicious food around the corner. And trust me when I say the food at Manzanita is delicious because it was. Anchored by the Van Henion bar/tap room, Manzanita Grill offers Mexican fusion at reasonable prices. I got a breakfast burrito and my wife got a specialty burrito. We shared a stuff popper appetizer which was a meal on its own. The poppers come with a dipping sauce that was rich and flavorful. The lady helping us was very patient while we were deciding and brought the food to our table. Definitely worth a return trip.

Look. I've eaten burgers in a lot of places. Airports. Gas stations. One time outside a golf course…read morethat didn't even technically sell burgers. But this place in Bend... this is serious burger territory. First thing you notice: they're not messing around with the menu. Just burgers that understand what a burger is supposed to be. Double patty. Brioche bun. Cheese doing its job. America. I ordered The O.G. because I respect tradition. American cheese, caramelized onions, burger sauce. Simple system. Works great. Like a pickup truck that starts every time. My buddy got The Popper which is basically what happens when a jalapeño popper and a burger start collaborating. Bacon, jalapeño cream cheese, ranch. It looked like something a scientist made to test the limits of happiness. Fries were solid. Soda cold. No weird nonsense. Just burgers doing burger things. Only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is because if I lived closer I would probably eat here too often and that feels medically irresponsible. I'd give it 6 stars if Yelp understood burgers better.

There appears to be a nice sized stage for live performances as well as multiple fire pits and heaters for when things cool down at night or in the winter. Parking is a decent size, though don't be fooled by your map app and turn into the shopping strip just before it, they have signs everywhere that that parking is NOT for the food trucks/on Tap. Optional street parking as well, even if the street is a little tight. Would return for sure.
