This bar is lit and all the bartenders are super sweet and I really like the bartender Alyssa and the marine guy Chris. Go on a Saturday night after 9:30 PM where you can play naughty bingo. It's so much fun. The crowd is very fun to hang out with and the music is really good. The DJ plays excellent music. read more

Have been here before and it was laid back. Tonight was different. Two very drunk guys at the bar kept looking over at our table and yelling loudly, slurring vague gay threats and even going as far as to approaching one of our group in the men's restroom. Bartender knew exactly what was going on, didn't stop it nor did she stop serving them alcohol. A bartender keeps their house in order. I blame both parties for what transpired. We felt discriminated against, highly uncomfortable and angry that this establishment would condone this behavior. Three Legged Monkey is not a place for people of color or who are LGBT. You've been warned. read more

This place was an unexpected surprise. I had never been here before but I'm glad my friends suggested it. The drink prices are great, the atmosphere is cool & the crowd is chill. There was a DJ playing a great variety of music. There's plenty of seating at tables & around a large bar. There's even upstairs seating. This is an all around great place but what makes this bar 5 stars isn't the drinks or the atmosphere, the bartenders make this place 5 stars!!! Our bartender was Jess (Jessica) & she was a firecracker! (In the best way!) She was friendly, had the best personality & made us laugh so hard! One might say she was "charismatic"! A lot of bartenders ask you what you want, make your drink, take your credit card, hand you your bill & walk away. I call this lazy service! Not here! Jess is the kind of bartender that you want to be friends with! She KNOWS how to mix a great drink & she actually gives you service w a smile... while making you laugh! If you can walk away from her not loving your drink & not wanting to go back to her for your next drink & some laughs.... Trust me, It's YOU... not her. Ally was working the bar also. This bar is fine, it's a local bar that is pretty dark inside but overall a chill place to go and grab a few beers.

I've been here a couple of times and enjoy the low-key atmosphere. Last time it was a Saturday night and had a great group around the bar to hang out to some killer music. After coming from a bar that played all country music, it was nice to hear good tunes as we had our combos (Tellamore DEW and Yuengling on tap). Bartender was nice and kept everyone happy. This is a great hole-in-the-wall place, but be careful of the Castle Hills cops as you leave. read more

Wow. I wouldn't go as far as saying that this place is dirty. It's a clean bar it's just a hole in the wall. I actually like this place. I don't really go there unless one of my friends wants to but it don't go kicking and screaming. The drinks are pretty cheap. I've never had a problem getting a beer unless we go on a busy night. The bartenders can be a little rude but that's only on those busy nights which I can understand. There's a seating area upstairs above the bar that I like because it gets you a little further away from the music which is controlled by either the jukebox or the bartenders both of which can have some poor choice. There's a pool table and a couple of dart boards in the back of the bar as well. The bar is small but I wouldn't go as far as saying it's anything that the past two reviews have said. read more

What can I say...great neighborhood hangout! Lovely bar staff and great drinks. Bathrooms are clean. Trivia is fun! And all the hot dudes.

Strip mall dive? Yes. Dirty dump? No. This is a great hangout bar. They've got darts, pool, big buck hunter, and foosball...what more could you ask for? Drinks! We got heavy-handed jack and cokes all night for $3.50 and the shot board above the bar had hundreds of crazy shots to help make the night all the more fun. You might not meet any beauty queens here, but I would definitely recommend it for a good night with friends. read more

I visited this place during the only loss of Tom Brady for this season to Seattle Seahawks (This is not the reason for 3 stars). I like to munch on something while having beer and bars that don't have food just are like liquor stores to me where you can taste your product. They had a den like seating upstairs which was cool. This bar has about the worst service of any bar I've ever been to and I've been to hundreds around this country. It took 15 minutes to get a drink during the day with a minuscule amount of patrons and two bartenders working, maybe if they did less shots and stopped chatting with customers for 5 minutes at a time they would notice when others are wanting drinks! Gave 3 stars for drink portions, potency, and service... Atmosphere is not rated since I didn't go there for the ambiance, I went to get drunk and have a good time. That was accomplished with spending around $45 for three women on a friday night... This was cheap and we have a food time singing old songs that the DJ played an drinking stiff drinks. Definitely a dive. Great place to watch the Pats, you'll be among fans! Game days the bartender makes snacks to enjoy while drinking, and there are always specials. It can get crazy busy but if you're willing to be patient and can stand being around Brady fans then this place is for you. read more

Was overcharged by two stupid female bartenders. They rolled their eyes and gave attitude after being confronted about being overcharged ( a clear sign of intent and guilt.) The well drinks are basically soda with a splash of liquor. Do not go to this bar, they try to rip you off because they know their drinks and service are shitty.
