This was on a Wednesday and it was all walks of life and all types of music from classic to new. I walked in to an older gent who was killing it to some Al Green, "Let's Stay Together" and it was smooth as butter just like the vibes here. The night only got better from there. I tried it during the later afternoon and the vibe was even more chill. There were some regulars and we chit chatted about where we were all from and funny Cooteys stories. I played some music from my seat on TouchTunes and overall had a very relaxing time. Others were playing great jams too and wow I can't remember the last time I heard Beach Boys. But I'm here for it. Just a heads up.. This is one of those spots that charges a $20 holding credit card fee. But atleast they gave me a heads up instead of throwing it on me last minute and giving me the choice of cash. Haven't been there in three years and still remembers my drinking habits. Am I to predictable? Yeah probably. Still that proper dive, you'll see quite a few regulars that just come in to chill and hang out on the weekdays, and the weekends are always a celebration! Also one of the few places where you get everyone from all walks of life, from young and old. You'll always leave with a decent conversation or connection every time I've visited . Common tradition is to sign a dollar bill and staple it to the wall.

The comradery here is off the charts. The bartendars have always been sweet as can be and very attentive. So many great deals here on the drinks as well. One time I came there were $4 corrido tequila shots and $4.25 watermelon kazis. Another time I came in late and shuffleboard was getting pretty serious. It looks like they have nice tables here and quite a few to choose from. Last time I was here, a customer was handing out some samples of 1942 Don Julio to take home and man I'm sold.
