The hours are wrong, went there at 10 AM on a weekday- no one showed up, I waited until 10;30. Not happy

My daughter had never had her eyebrows threaded before. The lady was very nice! It was clean and affordable!

I went there for the first time maybe a month ago and I liked the girl I had but I wouldn't know her name because she did not introduce herself to me. I was satisfied with my shape no complaints. I went there today and no hello girl on the phone all I got was "eyebrows?" Ok. I assumed it was the same girl from last time cause once again no introduction. I believe this girl name was Sheehan? She went thread happy. So thread happy she focus on slimming my brows and less on the hairs AROUND the brows I still had to go home and pluck cause their lighting SUCKS. this was just that experience when I choose not to pay someone to mess up my brows again for a couple of years. read more

Every time I stop by here, there's only a 10-15 minute wait, and they do a great job threading my eye brows. I'm always happy when they're done. I only get my eye brows done on special occasions so about 4-5 times a year. Other times I just clean it up myself. They will ask if you want them to apply some gel to relieve a little bit of the redness from threading and it's only temporary. I think it helps, and you don't have to walk out of the mall with redness around your brows. Their pricing did go up a few bucks after they moved from the first floor to 2nd floor, but is still worth it. They are very nice here. Also their new store location is very modern and clean. I hate going into the mall but I love it when I can walk in, get what I need done, and walk out! I recommend this place, if you like getting your eyebrows threaded. Although- after reading some bad reviews after some bad experiences, I am grateful I have yet to NOT like the end results. I say- take a risk! I like threading better than waxing, but that's just my preference. read more

first time I ever had my eyebrows threaded and I am SO glad my friend suggested I try it. Fist of all- don't be a big baby- beauty can be uncomfortable..lol and threading is a bit like that- sort of multiple pluckings all at once. If you have had waxing done - this is NOT as painful. Woman who did my eyebrows was very proficient and super pleasant. Very easy to understand as well (I know some people may have issues with accents here) $12 for threading and my eyebrows are faboo- I will never go back to waxing -ever. Not sure of my favorite lady's name, she always greets me with a smile. Pretty sure it starts with an "n". I never got my brows threaded until I saw the thread spa in the mall. Perfectly close to the entrance or the exit... Not too painful, they will ask you to place your fingers a certain way- I think it's so it stretches the skin.- Great employees, and if they missed something, don't be scared to say something they'll fix it. They shape mine perfectly every time! I walk out with pink on the area& cooling aloe sensation.... A few hours and in good to go. read more

The place is usually just fine. But DO NOT go to the blonde lady! She is rude and absolutely sucks at her job. She ruined my brows made them way thinner than i wanted them to be... I have multiple cuts on my face and when i told her this she dint seem to care. The two stars are only for the other ladies that work there as they do a decent job. I took the plunge and finally decided to try threading out for my uncontrollable brows. Sure, plucking is part of my every-other-day routine (unless I'm super busy and end up not plucking for week, in which my brows resemble those of Oscar the Grouch), but who knew that threading would last me 5 days of no eyebrow shaping! There was no wait, and the woman who took care of me did the job quickly and nearly painlessly (less pain than waxing, if you might believe!). I also noticed how sanitary the place was - my threader wore a face mask and smock. She used a cleanser to wipe down my skin after the job was done, as well as a semi-liquid lotion to soothe my skin afterwards. Cost? Cheap enough for me skip out on a couple of Starbucks lattes to get the brows done. I was in and out within 10 minutes - now that's convenience and service all rolled into one! read more

Horrible. The person took five minutes. I shared I had been growing them out and wanted to keep my arch. Almost my entire eyebrow is now gone and they are thin. She took off almost half the end of the brows and the entire natural shape of my brow is gone. read more

I will give it 5 stars! Being an Indian, I have only got threading done by other Indians, but this was a first time experiencing a non-Indian stylist threading and really good at it! I feel bad for not finding out her name, but if I'n in the area, I don't mind visiting this place again and my eyebrows would love the TLC from the stylists there! This review is for the new location: for someone who gets eyebrow/UL done every 2-3 weeks this is an extreme rip off. I happened to be in Burlington and thought to stop by. I can get the exact same service for $13 elsewhere. The new location is great, maybe for those who enjoy the ambiance of their threading place. I could care less how fancy the place is, for a service that occurs frequently in a woman's life, this is not where I'd want to throw $50 twice a month on basic services. Will not be back. read more

Excellent service. I love this place and find that their operators are more skilled than the other location I've been to, their kiosk at the Arsenal Mall. Threading seems to last longer than waxing and it's less harsh and risky on your skin as there's no possibility of getting burned. Everyone here knows what they're doing but Nipa has become my favorite and I will make sure to return on the days she's scheduled. It's located at the mall entrance next to Pizzeria Uno. It's a small salon on the left hand side right after the restaurant so there's not need to trek the mall to find it. You're in-and-out. Kudos. read more

I really love the service here. The prices are a bit more than other places in the area but they're in the mall (their location is so convenient, except walking around the mall w/ a red face isn't the best - I have sensitive skin). They also use a better thread which makes the threading less painful. But overall, threading isn't that painful and it's just so much more precise than waxing. Bobby did my eyebrows yesterday. It was only her 3rd day but she did wonderfully. I loved how she took her time to make sure she was doing a good job. Some other places tend to go so fast and take away too much hair and ruin the shape of your eyebrows, but Bobby did a perfect job. I was veryyyy happy with her. This was my first time letting them do my eyebrows because I am very protective of them, so I was skeptical at first and was hoping nothing would go wrong esp. because my bday party is in a week. They did take me right away as they aren't too busy. After I was all done, I was asked if I wanted some lotion and she moisturized my face for me. The service was well worth the money. She always greets me with a smile and takes her time no matter how busy it is. I know longer live in the area of this salon but i make the hr commute just to be seen by Lorena. I wish you were able to give 0 stars on Yelp. Most of my experience here has been mediocre to awful. The girl with blonde hair is RUDE and usually breaks my skin around my eyebrow. When you walk in, it just feels shady. They don't allow you to put tip on your card which feels shady, as well. We all know that cash doesn't need to get reported, right? I hate to do this but I just got my eyebrows done here and it's the worst!!! Ive been here before and have had my eyebrows done by the Hispanic lady which is awesome. But the little Indian girl which I told do not make my brows thinner. Did exactly the opposite!! I told her I like my brows thick. I just need a clean up. Let me tell you why I can never trust this place again: To preface, I've had my brows done here for months, so this is not a lightly given review. Second, I have great eyebrows. It's a weird thing to say, but I've gotten compliments from people next to me at the hairdresser, coworkers, etc (literally the first thing my friend said to me when I called to vent on the way home about my experience was "oh no, and your brows are so perfect!"). I'm Italian, so I need strong brows, used to wax my own, and know what shape fits my face. Up until this evening, the ladies here have always been great when I say "I just need a clean up, I like the shape. That's exactly what I got, and if they wanted to suggest a slight tweak, they'd show me in the mirror before doing it. This evening was different. I said the same thing I always did, and the girl went to work on my brows. As she was doing my second brow- -the left, it hurt a lot - substantially for someone who's had this and waxing done all her life. Only when she was done and gave me the mirror did I realize that it hurt because she was threading hairs I've never plucked in my life!! I looked in the mirror, horrified at the two differently shaped brows - the left threaded within an inch of its life. In panic, I told her "you took way too much! They're different shapes!" She proceeded to tell me that there "was less hair on the left to start with and she was fixing that." BULL. You either weren't careful enough or you plain messed up. I now have one sharply arched eyebrow, and one rounded. Either way, you didn't listen to what I specifically asked - not to touch the shape!! NOT. OKAY. I stood up and was so simultaneously angry and about to cry. My brows look as if I'm constantly raising one up, even though I'm not. Yes, I know they grow back. But I just paid someone to cause me an inconvenience for the coming weeks, so that's the issue here. So now, for the coming weeks, I get to spend extra time every morning and lunch hour making sure I've filled in my brows to look the same. And I got to pay for that service. I will never, ever be back, because they've lost my trust in their service, and I sadly will be telling my friends that I no longer suggest them either. When your job as an eyebrow threader is literally to listen to what I like for my brows and then do it...and you can't...that's unacceptable to me. PS - The kicker is that there was NO actual apology, or even an apologetic tone from the threader - instead, bitchy silence that I had the audacity to tell HER that she'd just removed half my eyebrows (when I specifically told her not to touch the shape.) I can confirm she did remove a ton of hair because now, an hour later, my left eyebrow is stil stinging from the hair follicles that were just ripped out for the first time in my life. Reviewing these types of places is always so tricky because each individual experience is dependent on the aesthetician you happen to get that day. That being said, I had a great experience here with Rajashree. I like my eyebrows full and she confirmed before she started that all I wanted was a clean-up. She also did my upper lip which is excruciating no matter what but she did it quickly, which is the key to minimizing the torture. There was one other person working there and they were gossiping through most of my treatment (the other lady was also with a client) which is one of my pet peeves but for $12 I wasn't expecting stellar customer service, just competence and an ability to understand what the client asks for, and I was not disappointed. read more

This place is decent for the price but I feel like my eyebrows are uneven after coming here. The lady said its because the hairs on the right side are going in a different direction... Can't she just brush it out and make sure they're even? At least It can be fixed with a bit of eyebrow pomade. read more

When I went this week, the kiosk was gone, I was devistated...until I asked the woman at the information booth and she informed me the Threading Spa has it's own store now. I'm not very particular when it comes to getting my eyebrows threaded; I usually just go where it's most convenient. For the most part I have always been pretty happy with how my eyebrows turnout. What I will say is that it's probably best to stick with the same person when you go here. They each seem to have their own technique and style, so if you stick with the same person you will get the best result. Some seem to take a lot more time, and are more thorough than others, however my results always seem to be satisfactory. It is very clean, and all the ladies I have seen where a mask over their mouth, so they are not breathing in your face, which is much appreciated. read more

Not only was my technician rude, she rushed the process and I had to go home and tweeze about a dozen hairs that she missed. My brows are also super uneven now from whatever she did. Aside from all that, I have cuts ALL OVER and around my brows, to the point where make up can't even cover them. I counted 5 cuts total. I emailed customer service to try to get my money back and got no response. Such a waste, so disappointed. read more

I've never had a problem with this place until last week. I've never seen the lady who did my eyebrows this time and I'm in there almost every two weeks. I felt that she rushed through the treading and when I got home my eyebrows still looked like they hang been touched. That wasn't even my biggest issue as I understand that everyone can have an off day. Within a couple of hours my right eye lid was super swollen (almost halfway shut) and a I had a pretty good cut under my eyebrow. I tried out this location today instead of my usual south shore mall location. My brows look fine not as good as the the other place but the girl that did it was so rough. The thread was digging into my skin and she was talking to the other employees there and not paying attention to what she was doing. If you go visit this place don't go to the blonde girl. This place is pretty decent for threading and for the price ($12 for eyebrows). The woman who works here on Mondays really seems like she doesn't want to be there and is somewhat indifferent about how your brows look. But the threader who's done my brows on Wednesdays and Thursdays is fantastic! She's really nice and friendly. So overall, I recommend this place... Just not on Mondays ;) read more

I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for years. This was the most horrible experience I've ever had. The lady with the freckles took out a chunk of my eye brow and caused little cuts around my eyebrows and upper lip. Then when I explained to her this has never happened to me within years I've been getting my eyebrows done she said "well it's common," well not for me and started arguing with me about my face. I will never come back to this place there are bumps and cuts all over the areas she touched, this is beyond ridiculous! read more

DO NOT COME HERE AT ALL, please Save yourself! If I could give negative stars I would, this place has poor customer service and the woman are rude! The doing my brows ruined them today and I hate them so much. I was so upset that I ended up sobbing in my car. She didn't shape them right and made them super think and I have thick full eyebrows. She totally ruined them and they are thin and it looks really unflattering on me. They just collecting money and going through customers. The lady just did whatever she felt to MY EYEBROWS. I grew my eyebrows out a little extra so it would look good and this woman destroys it by thinning it out significantly. I have been going here since they were just a few chairs in the middle of the mall. They now have their own store with 3 chairs and a more private setting. Always a great experience, would def recommend to anyone over waxing. Great for sensitive skin as well. Absolutely LOVE!! read more
