This was my first time visiting this studio. The woman working there was super friendly and professional. I walked in and was able to be helped right away. However, she suggested that I make an appointment next time since their hours can vary due to COVID-19. I had been looking for a new place to get my eyebrows done for a while and was very pleasantly surprised with the services/results. My eyebrowns got messed up in another place and I came to expert eyebrows totally randomly as a walk in and I was surprised with the very good job they do! I've been coming here for a couple of months now and have always liked how they do my eyebrows but today there was someone new working (anitta) she was very rough while threading, as if she were in a rush even though there was no one else waiting, she made my eyebrows way too thin even though I ask for just a clean up and when I asked her to stop because I felt like she was taking off too much she tried to keep threading, i had to sit up and ask for the mirror to make her stop. I was very disappointed and unhappy with my service. Who knows how much thinner she would have made them if I didn't stop her. read more

They're great! The location is clean, the two women who perform the threading are very nice, and there is hardly ever a wait longer than ten minutes. The threading takes about 7 minutes and costs $12 for eyebrows. My brows have never looked so good and symmetrical! I recently moved to east Boston from the north shore and needed to find an eyebrow threading place that was convenient but did a great job as well. A google search lead me to Expert Eyebrow Threading, but I went to the new Everett location. It was such a great experience. I neglected my brows for a few weeks because of school work- so they were a mess. Jana was SO polite and friendly and did an amazing job. She truly knows what she is doing. Am very disappointed with the results. I have done threading before on my eyebrows. I decided to do a full face to get rid of the little hairs. I regret ever coming here. I am informed that threading does not peel off the top layer of skin. Threading just grabs the hair and pulls it out without irritating the skin.I don't know what this woman did exactly but the next day half of my left face was red and peeling. I asked other people ( who gone to other places)if this has ever happened to them. They all told me they think women was too ruff, that she applied too much pressure on on my skin. She had her boyfriend in the shop and was upset when he left as I was waiting on my eyebrows. I explained how the other woman does my tint . I find it hard to find a place that does good eyebrow threading. I began coming here after I moved back home from school. At first, they were excellent. I don't touch my brows in between appointments so I always just ask for a clean up. Lately, they've been extremely pushy about their "new facial". Some of the girls will continue to talk about it after saying no. They do a good job on my eyebrows but I don't like feeling uncomfortable about purchasing more. read more

I've tried at least 4 other eyebrow threading salons in a more convenient locations to where I live and STILL continue to see Jana because there's no one else like her. I've had eyebrow threading and tinting done and both are excellent. Jana is very gentle and needs no instruction on how to make my brows perfect. She keeps the natural shape, never over threads, and the finished product is crisp and clean and LASTS. Waxing and plucking were never able to give me these kinds of results. First time here today. There were a few people ahead of me waiting so a bit of a wait, but I expect that. There was only one woman working. She was very nice and did a nice job on my eyebrows. It's a quick service and I like that. I also appreciated her friendly demeanor. However I cannot stand when businesses post Yelp offers and don't acknowledge them. I asked her about the 10% discount listed here upon check-in. She had no idea what it was and just kept repeating not today. I tried to emphasize you cannot post these and not honor them but it was fine and to talk to the owner about this. If you choose to post a deal on Yelp, simply inform all of your employees and don't make the customer look like they are making something up. read more

This place is a little pricey compared to others around Boston, especially compared to the kiosks in malls. $12 for eyebrows and $10 for upper lips! BUT, Jana is amazing!! She understands the look I want for my eyebrows and cleans them up really nicely. She's also super fast but never careless. Multiple women work here and I made the mistake of going to a different one because Jana was out that day. Mistake!! I didn't catch her name but she threaded my eyebrows too thin and even created a bald spot under my left arch. Luckily my bangs covered it while it grew back out. I'm giving 5-stars to Jana and would definitely recommend her to anyone. TIP: They only accept credit cards for transactions over $20 so bring some cash. read more

We were all rotating in the same chair. I also went to them because they had a coupon listed on their yelp page. This is my 4th or 5th time here. First time, it was great. Second time, a little less, and each time it has gone down, with my 4th and 5th experience being awful. They do not ask you how you want your eyebrows and rather just begin threading the second you sit down in the chair. I got there close to closing time, so I didn't want to be fussy and just let the woman do her thing. My eyebrows are now the thinnest they've ever been. I've been coming here since September of this year. I've had both ladies do threading on me and both are very good. The way my schedule is now I usually see Jana on Thursdays and try to keep the "every two weeks" schedule. There was only one time I got there "I'm usually a walk-in" and Jana wasn't there but she had a note on the door to call. She was worth the wait. I've recommended this place to a couple of friends. I'm glad it is so close to where I live. I keep their phone number on my list of contacts now. This is much cleaner, less irritating and less painful than waxing. If you are used to tweezing your own eyebrows and having problems seeing then I would recommend you try the threading method.
