During my past few visits, the threading were done by another lady, and my eye lids skin hurt so bad, and dark red spots appeared because of scrape. I gave another try on the past Friday. I happened upon this place on a Friday in the early evening, and I lucked out in that the proprietor was willing to take me on as a walk-in. Going forward, I'll be sure to call ahead or to make an appointment on the off-chance that she might have a facial or a more intricate appointment already booked. I got my eyebrows threaded, and she did a great job and was super efficient. My eyebrows are naturally different shapes, so she started off with a difficult canvas to work with, and she definitely made them so much better than they were. I will definitely be going back to her as often as I can for my brows! Parking can be a little bit of a struggle, but there are a few spots directly in front of the establishment and immediately around the corner from the storefront. I love this place! First of all, the professionalism. It was my first time going and I was confused about whether I needed an appointment or not, I had arrived and thankfully the appointment before hadn't shown up so I was able to steal some time to get my brows done. The reason I think this is important is that they obviously really respect the customers who call for appointments and although this could've gone the other way for me and I may have not been able to be seen at all - I know that in the future when I call ahead my time will be respected. Secondly, my eyebrows look amazing. I know a lot of threading places particularly in the Greater Boston area who do a botch job. I am happy to report that is not the case here. Third, the location is perfect. It's close to Malden center but it's not in the midst of all the restaurants and stores so there is some time limit street parking but it's also close to the T. I've been looking for my new brow place since the pandemic and I definitely have found it. So happy to have come across Hidden Beauty! read more

I moved to the area for over a year and I been trying to go here but every time I have stopped by or called no one answers or it's been closed!! The hours are wrong on their door and online sites. For my daughters birthday, I took her and 4 of her friends to Hidden Beauty to get henna. I called 2 weeks prior, spoke to Charlene who was extremely accommodating. Upon arrival, I had no idea what to expect. I was happily surprised. Charlene opened the shop up for us on Sunday which meant private party (score!). We arrived a few minutes early and Charlene was already there and ready for us. She set YouTube up on the tv for the girls and gave each one her undivided attention. She did a great job, girls were psyched, the henna came out great. 4 days later - Henna is still perfectly on. Price - inexpensive. I let the girls get whatever they wanted. Because some of the girls got such small tattoos, price came under the bottom amount she quoted. Very fair! First time I left a place like that not feeling ripped off. I was having a hard time finding a good threading place near me on the north shore. My GPS had failed me and took me to a place in Melrose that didn't even exist anymore! Bummer. So I found the closest place on the map and it was this Hidden Beauty threading place. I walked in kinda nervous because you never know if it'll be a good experience or not. The employee here was incredibly kind and welcoming. I wasn't able to catch her name but she said she was the only one who worked there so I guess that narrows it down! She was so informative about how she envisioned my eyebrow shape. I had never had an eyebrow person give me suggestions or advice. I had strolled in at 6:30 one evening to get my brows threaded for the first time. I had no idea what to expect other than pain. However, I'd rather deal with the pain of threading than the plucking of tweezers, the rip of wax, or the burn of Nair (I know, I know). I was looking for a change and as you can see, I've done it all-- and my eyebrows aren't even that full! I just wanted a clean look and I love the results of threading. The woman who did my eyebrows took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted, and absolutely delivered! She gave me very natural looking brows, and it was the best I've gotten in years!
