My eyebrows were in need of help. I have always been a fan of threading versus waxing. It's extremely hard to find a place who does a really good job with threading. This place does it exactly how I love it. I found this place through their wonderful reviews on here and it did not disappoint!!! I had a gap in between my errands so it was extremely last min. She said she was booked but I can come in and she will try to fit me in between clients . Parking is extremely difficult here as this is in the south end area. I had to park at a meter on Washington st and walk a street over. Which is not bad at all. This place have earned themself a new long term regular. This will be my go to place from now on!!! This was the first time I've ever tinted my eyebrows and it was a quick and easy experience. I wanted to approach cautiously and wanted a more natural color. Not knowing what to expect, I didn't want to walk out with some obscenely dark eyebrows so I went with medium brown which I'm happy with. I think I can get away with the next level which is dark brown at my next visit. The shop itself is on the smaller end--2 chairs with 2 small benches for the people waiting. I scheduled this appt and arrived early so they took me early. It's street parking and damn was it a little tough. Street parking is only on the street the business is on, otherwise all the other streets are permit parking only so it took a couple circles for me to find a spot and had to walk but it wasn't bad. read more

Didn't shape my eyebrows and thinned them out. When I asked to make it a bit more sharper on top the lady said she'd take more off. I said I didn't want it thinner and then the other women with a clear attitude said sharper doesn't mean thinner but obviously it does since the women who was doing my eyebrows just said she'd take more hair off to make it sharper. Vibe was off, she didn't take much consideration into what I wanted. When I told her I wanted she said I was nervous and she been doing this for 13 years. How that was related to what I was telling her, i dunno. After, I told her she took too much off of one side and she denied it. Like girl, I felt it? There has never been such little hair there, I hate it. There was ZERO reason to take that much hair off when she didn't bother to make it even. The last four months of COVID-19 quarantining truly have been life-changing to say the least. Of course, my eyebrows have grown into two caterpillars on my face. I was in desperate need of some self-care. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Eye Adore Threading was open and close in proximity to my humble adobe. I scheduled an appointment on Yelp yesterday. Even though, I had trouble finding a parking space, the owner's husband was willing to keep an eye on my double parked car for me. Akriti, the owner sanitized the chair immediately and offered a squirt of hand sanitizer to each customer upon arrival. She was friendly and conversational. There is no better feeling then finally getting your eyebrows done after four long months. I have already received compliments from friends and family members saying my eyebrows were on point. I usually go to a different salon for my brows, but I haven't been happy with the results from there lately. My brows ended up too thin and/or uneven. So I grew them out for a couple months for a fresh start. I came to Eye Adore based on other Yelp reviews, and I'm so glad I did! It's about the same distance from my apartment as my old brow place so that's an added bonus. The place itself is small & simple, just two chairs for clients and the register. There are small benches on either side of the door if there's a wait. I got there when two people were already getting their brows done so I had to wait, but it only took about 5-8 minutes before it was my turn. I was there on a Friday at around 11:30 AM so I'm not sure if it gets busier on the weekends/evenings. Once I was in the chair, I explained exactly what I wanted for my brows. I also showed her that my brows were still a little uneven, but that I liked my left brow better. After a few minutes of threading and trimming, my brows looked way more even, and more importantly they were NOT too thin!! I was so happy with the results, especially since it was my first time here and it could've gone horribly wrong. This place will 100% be my new go-to for eyebrow threading!!! The price was $15 +tip, which is reasonable. I'll admit it's a little more expensive than my old place but also you kinda get what you pay for. I'm willing to pay more if it means my brows look better. read more

So I just moved to the area and was worried about finding a new threading place, because it's an essential amirite?? I found this studio on Yelp and I'm so thrilled that I did!! I came in around 7pm on a Monday for a walk-in and there was no wait. Akriti (the owner) checked out my brows, which were admittedly not in very good shape, and made sure to point out where there was unevenness so that I could see beforehand that it wasn't her fault, and assured me that we can make progress every time I come in. I was really happy with that statement, because I've had issues in the past with my eyebrow stylists just continuing to make them uneven every single time. Despite the unevenness, I would say they look pretty darn even and pretty freakin good after she threaded them (see photo). She has aloe, rose water, AND witch hazel which I was also so happy about because I hate aloe and often times places only have aloe and not witch hazel or rose water. Akriti was so nice to chat with during the session which I also loved. The salon was very very clean and pretty, and the location is not too far off the Mass Ave. t station, a 10 min walk but you get to walk through the beautiful South End streets!! It's so quaint. I just moved to the South End and found this place on Yelp. It's appointment only, so I booked with Anisha. I just wanted my brows threaded to be cleaned up and she did a great job! After the threading, she offered some aloe for my brows, which was a nice touch. It was $17 for the eyebrow threading, so a little on the steeper side. I'm used to brow threading being around $12, but that might just be normal for Boston. Regardless, I'll definitely be going here from now on to get my brows done! read more

I had the pleasure of going here yesterday on my lunch break and was please with the overall experience. Akriti did my eyebrows and she was so pleasant and sweet. She assured me that everything would be ok after I explained to her the history of getting my eyebrows done. She did a wonderful job of making my eyebrows look good again (yay me). Apparently my brows look so good I had three women ask me this morning where did I get them done at ! I had a question about my brow lamination and what the process entails and she was kind of enough to explain everything to me in great detail. So much so that I am looking forward to booking an appointment to have it done. Overall it was a delightful experience and I will definitely be back again. I made an appointment with this place with good expectations after looking through the reviews. Well, after the lady was done threading my brows, she showed me them in the mirror and I noticed my right brow was a bit thicker than my left, under the arch. I asked the lady if she could take off a bit more off THAT brow only, and pointed directly to underneath the arch, so it could match the left brow. She started taking more off that one. However she then started taking off more on the left one too.... I thought she was just adjusting it but turns out she took off just as much as the right one. She finished up and I obviously couldn't say "i hate them," because it's not like she could fix it now. My left brow now is so thin, very noticeably thinner than my right. I literally went to the car after and cried my eyes out. I already have naturally sparse/thin brows, and my left one now looks hideous. I specified i only wanted more taken off from the right one but that didn't happen. I'm going to have to wait months for them to grow back now and it sucks. read more

Eye Adore Threading is such a cute little threading shop in South End. As someone who has never threaded or waxed her eyebrows and only lives by tweezing whenever necessary, I was hesitant to visit any threading shop. However, Akriti was so friendly and reassuring. She had a conversation with me as she was threading my eyebrows and she could easily be someone I sat down and talked to for over an hour. Yes, threading hurts a lot - but no pain, no gain. It hurt more than slowly plucking each of my eyebrows, but Akriti offered to let me take breaks whenever. I just decided to get it over with without any breaks. Threading also lasts 3 weeks whereas plucking... two days maybe. I was very impressed when I opened my eyes. A flawless finish - I have never seen my eyebrows look so good before! The best part is that she did not change the shape of my brow at all and only did the cleanup that I requested (I have read and heard about many horror stories elsewhere in which eyebrows came out too thin or just terrible). Akriti knows what she's doing! She left a few hairs at the end and let me know she intentionally did that so I can grow out the ends of my brow. Will definitely be back! No appointments, but walk-ins should not be an issue! read more

I came based on other yelp reviews and it did not disappoint. There was no wait on a Wednesday night, and I was in and out in less than 20 mins, which was extremely convenient. They take your input into account, asking about the shape and thickness that you want. The process wasn't painful at all, and the redness disappeared in a few minutes for me. read more
