I cannot say enough good things about The Beauty Studio and Shruti. I've been going to her since she was in Newton, and followed her here to her Brookline studio and she is incredible. She just gets it! Never have to tell her twice the way I like my brows and she keeps them thick and perfect. Honestly, any and everyone that works there is amazing, for brows and lash lifts! Highly recommend! read more

I've tried every staff member at this eyebrow threading studio, and they are all incredibly friendly and talented. No matter who I book with, I walk out with perfect brows--and I constantly get compliments on them! What really sets this place apart is the time and care they give you. Unlike other places that rush you out in under 10 minutes, here you're guaranteed the time you need to get it done right. They never make you feel like just another appointment--they treat your brows like a work of art. Yes, it's a slightly higher price than some places, but it's 100% worth it for the quality and experience. They also tint my brows perfectly every single time--never too dark, never patchy, just natural and defined. All my friends go here now too, and I just had to share the gem that is this beauty studio. Highly recommend! read more

I was new to threading. It was expertly done by a very helpful and pleasant staff inc a clean and welcoming space.

I've now been to the beauty studio a few times for eyebrow threading, lash tinting, and most recently a lash tint and lift with Suma. The studio is very clean and welcoming. Suma is wonderful and very gentle. I always leave the studio very happy & I definitely would recommend the beauty studio and Suma read more

Shang is the sweetest! She listens to what you want and asks you during the process how you like the eyebrow. She creates a great environment and vibe. read more

The Beauty Studio - Nice shape and arch eyebrows! - Threading Services Near Me - Brookline, Massachusetts

A great place to walk in to get your eyebrows done! I actually got my upper lip, chin, and eyebrows threaded and the whole process took about 45 minutes and cost 35+ dollars. Pros: 1. Staff is welcoming, fun, friendly. 2. You can walk in without an appointment. 3. They are thorough with asking you what you like if they need to shape the eyebrows more, and take feedback seriously throughout the entire process. Cons: 1. Cost: prices were a little bit higher than what I am usually used to. read more

I really wanted to like this place because it's only 5 minutes away from my office. It was convenient to make the appointment online and the waiting time was minimal. I got a full face threading two days before an important event. I left with multiple small cuts on my face (I wish I could post pictures), one of them is one inch long and under my eye. I'm very disappointed. This has not been my experience with threading in the past. read more

Shruti is the best in MA, i have been going to her for over a decade. I will not let anyone else touch my brows- she shapes them perfectly everytime. Her and her team are so sweet and i love sitting in her chair knowing she's consistent. Bonus the shop is always so clean! Book with The beauty studio you will not be disappointed-they take their time on each client. read more

It was my first time and The Beauty Studio, it can be scary going to a new place but it was very clean & the vibe is very relaxing, almost an aromatherapy vibe. I requested an eyebrow threading, it was painless. Anjana was amazing, very precise; trimming, brushing & wiping through to make sure my eyebrows were even. She did an excellent job. Would highly recommend. read more

I only trust shruti with my eyebrows. She KNOWS what she is doing!!! She's amazing and if you're like me- picky with your eyebrows and scared of having someone else touch them - then trust me when I say, the beauty studio is the place to go. read more

I have been seeing Shruti for threading on and off for a few decades. I saw her more often when she was in newton center and used to go to her when she was working somewhere else before she had her own business. I have to say anytime I get an appointment with her I am always happy with her skills and lovely manner. Her work lasts a long time and it's definitely worth spending a bit more for her to do my threading than anyone else. I just saw her last week and have vowed I won't go to anyone else for brows and facial hair removal. She is very talented, has so much experience, and by the time we catch up on our lives the whole thing is finished. She works quickly and I adore seeing her. So I'm only seeing her from now on. A good New Year's resolution. read more

Sruti is the only person I will see for eyebrow threading. She is skilled, meticulous in her work, and above all the kindest and funniest person you'll ever meet. She is warm and caring and efficient. It's always an enjoyable experience. read more

As a male, I had never gotten my eyebrows threaded, but the team here knew how to help and attend to my grooming needs, just helping to clean up and trim a bit. The overall effect was slim but it was a peaceful experience and enjoyable!! It was overall $20 including tip. I would return if I desired any grooming before a formal event or a day of treating myself. read more

Fantastic experience. My brows look better than they have in eons. Good vibes, good price including a good tip. Regrets to my waxtress, but I'm a convert now. read more

The place was recommended by a friend who also indicated that her technician Shruthi would be on maternity leave for some time. So I was willing to try out one of the other technicians. I explained to this lady that I don't get my eyebrows threaded often and could she just clean it up. Partway through, I noticed a burning sensation on my left eyelid, but the technician kept working. I've of course had threading and plenty of waxing done before and I expected some pain, but when the sharp burning persisted I asked the technician if I was bleeding and she said yes, there was a cut "because you moved suddenly". I don't remember flinching. In any case, she had just been wiping the blood with a tissue and carrying on. Since I was already committed, I let her finish the job. Once she finished, I was able to actually see the cut in the mirror. The technician then kept hedging that my skin was sensitive, that I should have held my skin taut, and then finally that she was sorry about the cut. Never once did she tell me to hold my lids tighter or to not move. The cut was deep enough that it formed a scab that took nearly a week to go away. Totally not worth it if you don't know the individual doing the work. I will not be returning and will not recommend this establishment to anyone. read more

As it was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded, I was nervous about the possible discomfort. Suma immediately put me at ease. She did such an amazing job on my eyebrows, and the whole experience was quick, painless, and dare I say, relaxing. I was super impressed and will definitely be back for another appointment with Suma. read more

Great eyebrow threading. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable about shape and growth. Etc. Helpful with long term maintenance. Clean environment and professional vibe. read more

I love getting my brows threaded by anyone at this studio! It always comes out perfectly and even though I have sensitive skin, it never hurts during or after. Also, I get my brows tinted and Shruti always works with me to get the exact shade I'm looking for! I can't recommend this place enough! read more

I have never been disappointed! Each time, Shruti takes great care of me. She is patient and precise and listens to your wants. I highly recommend! read more

I love their online booking. It allows me the flexibility my hectic work schedule requires to fit in some necessary pampering. I don't live anywhere near Newton, but Shruti has skills that are WELL WORTH the drive. read more

My eyebrows have never looked better, Anjana did an amazing job! Very clean inside the studio

I went here a few months ago and really liked the way my brows looked when Shruti did them. This time I made an appointment with the "master threader" again, expecting she would do my brows again. Instead she had another person in the shop so then because she had a walk in that she knew. The other girl just didn't dona great job shaping my brows and left a lot of stray hairs. I drove 30 min to come here for a reason. If they are going to ignore that I specifically made an appointment and see a walk in over me, I might as well go somewhere closer read more

Thank you Anjali! A bit rough with the thread? Yes. Pricey? Also yes. But the results were worth it. She was very patient and checked in with me along the way. I didn't feel rushed even though i walked in without an appointment. I also didn't have any major cuts, which is a first! read more

Had a great experience here! The ladies are sweet and the threading isn't painful or uncomfortable at all. I have relatively low maintenance brows so I can't complain much but I liked that I instantly felt better walking out of there knowing that my brows are on fleek. ;) It's a cute space and there was a bit of a wait but they had plenty of seating. I think the regulars were a bit impatient and left saying they would come back another day. The owner said it was unusually busy after having a little dry spell. I thought it went by pretty quickly and wasn't in too big of a rush so worked for me! I'd come back for sure! read more

I've been threaded, waxed, pierced and tattooed in the name of beauty for years. I've been around. I know what I'm in for, and especially since my first time here was fine... but I had the most unnecessarily painful experience my last time here. I had two threaders work on my eyebrows, and both seemed very inexperienced and unsure. The woman primarily threading my eyebrows left many small abrasions above and below my left eyebrow. It's been two days and they are still visible and bleeding. She was very slow when pulling and so it hurt more than should have. It was an incredibly patchy job to get the stray hairs around my brows. The shape is fine, but I can't advise anyone to come here and see their junior threaders. She needed way more practice and supervision before she should've been allowed to work on clients. read more

My eyebrows can be difficult and there is not much to work with but anyone who have touched them at The Beauty Studio has done a great job! I appreciate their patience because I always flinch no matter how hard I try not to. The salon is clean and COVID precautions are in place. Happy to continue to support a small business and hope more people do too! read more

Just did a walk in and Suma welcomed me and helped me set up the chair and asked what service I was hoping to get; within 10mins she was done with my brows and my brows never looked SO good. Was truly painless and much better than all of my waxing experiences, this place will be my new brow place from now, thank you Suma! read more

Because I moved from Cambridge to Brighton last fall, I hadn't gotten my eyebrows cleaned up in over a year and I had no idea who to go to in the area. I'm so happy I came across this eyebrow salon! All the reviews are spot-on: Shruti was very kind, patient, professional, and asked for my feedback throughout the session. It was not painful despite it being so long since I've gotten my eyebrows done and they came out great! The cost is higher than most places but it was 100% worth it. I'm happy I found my go-to eyebrow salon in the neighborhood. Many thanks to The Beauty Studio! read more

I am so so picky with my eyebrows and Shruthi is the best! She pays attention to the details and remembers all the little things you request. She takes her time and you can really tell she strives for quality over quantity. In terms of covid precautions: it is seamless. You enter, sanitize hands and have a temp check. The chair is totally sanitized and the threader is in a 95 mask, second mask, and face shield. Payment is contactless... and the salon completes one customer at a time so you are completely safe. Booking appointments is SO easy online. I have been to so many eyebrow threaders and I have finally found my person! Highly recommend!! read more

The ladies here take their time and ask you what you would like in terms of shape, thickness, etc... highly recommend and worth the money for good looking eyebrows! read more

Shruthi and staff are artistes! My brows have never had a better shape or looked so good! Staff are welcoming. This is my go-to place even though I live 70 miles outside of Boston. Online booking makes it so easy. read more

I have been a regular client at the Beauty Studio for over five years. I won't let anyone else touch my brows. Shruti and her staff are all extremely experienced at what they do. The salon is clean, warm, and inviting, and I always leave feeling like the best version of myself. Plus Shruti is just a lovely person in general and I would follow her and her business anywhere! Highly recommend. read more

Honestly, don't go anywhere else. I used to live in Brookline and work in Newton Center, so I found The Beauty Studio out of pure convenience. I now live in JP and work in Back Bay... and still come out to Newton just to come here because nothing else (even in Back Bay) compares. I've never had an even so-so experience here - I'm always impressed and pleased with my brows. Everyone I've worked with (which isn't many - the owner does threading herself, and she has a pretty small team which means you can be confident in anyone you see when you come in) understands brow shaping, is really skilled with the thread (minimal discomfort, minimal time!) and really really sweet and professional. I always get a spot right on their block, parking is easy and it's less than a 5 minute walk from the T stop. Stop debating about it and go to The Beauty Studio. read more

I found out about this place because a co-worker had great eyebrows all the time and she said she goes there. I have been going here now for 2 years and remain a regular client. Shruti does a great job and she has another woman who is great also! I highly recommend trying this place because you will always walk out happy. read more

They do great work at a fair price, it's always quick if you make an appointment, though I have also walked in before and it's not been an issue. I feel like I can go longer without getting my brows touched up than I've been able to when getting them done at other places - I would assume it's the quality and meticulousness of the work. They shaped them just how I wanted. Would recommend! read more

I've been seeing Shruti for years. Hands down the best in town. If she is not there the other ladies also do a very nice job.

I have been seeing shruti for two years now. There is no one else I'd let touch my brows other then shruti and her girls. Every single time my eyebrows are perfect. For anyone looking for a place you can keep coming to and being happy, come to the beauty studio. read more

My daughter (15) and I went in today for appointments with Shrudi. We had our brows "cleaned up". I've always waxed, as does my daughter, but I've begin to break out after waxing, so need an alternative. We both like our brows thick, so were VERY concerned about how this could go. The reviews were positive, and we explained to Shrudi just what she wanted. She was patient, explained everything and did a super job. We're very pleased and will return. read more

The Beauty Studio - Me, after the clean up. - Threading Services Near Me - Brookline, Massachusetts

I was so pleased with the service at The Beauty Studio - the space is beautiful and convenient for parking/public transportation. I have very thick eyebrows. I informed the esthetician, Suma that it was my first time and she did a phenomenal job on my eyebrows ensuring I was comfortable every step of the way. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a professional threading salon. read more

Tip: Save yourself 2 minutes and download the Passport Parking app when parking in Newton at the meter (30 minutes is the standard minimum for most areas). This place is clean and nice inside. The staff is very friendly and there are couches to sit while waiting. I got a clean-up on my brows and I loved how they turned out. Usually I wax these bad boys, but I'm trying to get into the hang of threading. I still don't get why threading seems more painful to me than waxing. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the price. I would go back to get my brows on and popping, but at $17 it's not too budget friendly to me when I usually pay $12 at most threading places. read more
