First time customer who will definitely be going back. A friend with great brows recommended this place to me - really just a chair in a hair salon. I have had bad threading experiences lately so was overdue for an appointment. I got in just ahead of a long line (5 people waiting for 1 chair) but it was worth it. The person who did my brows was quick and made it as painless as possible, and the price was spot-on. I've already sent others here and will certainly return myself. read more

Solid eyebrow threading place, but didn't end up returning because of the price discrepancy. Ie I was told one price on entering the salon, and then a very different price after getting my brows threaded...by the same woman LOL. That was weird but honestly if you're local to this place, she's a solid brow threader. read more

The threading place is located inside of another salon, I almost missed it when I first walked by. Inside the salon it was a bit unclear whether the threading booth was fully a part of the salon or a separate entity. The threading was perfect, very exact and beautiful. Fast, good price. I would definitely recommend eyebrow threading here. I knock one star off for the location inside this salon. The other salon people weren't exactly a picture of kindness. I walked in a man looked at me like "uh can I help you" and I indicated that I wanted to get threading done. He said "well you're gonna have to wait, she's already threading someone else", which she was. So I sat and waited. While I was waiting, another lady from the salon came out and asked me if I was waiting for threading, and I said yes. She said "you're gonna have to wait for her then". I started to get the feeling that they were annoyed that I was there for threading instead of their salon services. Throughout the entire waiting period and threading, the salon staff were talking very loudly and somewhat unprofessionally, taking personal calls on the phone and such. Suffice to say the salon impacted the atmosphere of the threading, but the threading was worth it. read more

Quick, and efficient. Thank you for the nice clean up. The price is also great too! I love that she didn't do the eyebrows too thin! Great for growing them out. read more

Magic Threading Place - Nutu, was quick and efficient. She did a great job. - Threading Services Near Me - Cambridge, Massachusetts

This place is the best for lash threading. They always do an amazing job and I am always satisfied with the result. Definitely give them a try read more

For some reason, I had a hard time finding the location. Walked by twice. It is within a shop that has 2 or 3 other stores. She is quiet but is like an oil well in there... and she does a great job!!! I am impressed. read more

Absolutely shocked that this place has a high rating! I just have to say you get what you pay for! The eyebrow threading maybe cheap but it's cheap for a good reason. I went in and told her not to thin it out and that's exactly what she did!!! She took off way too much and now there's nothing left. I'm absolutely horrified by my experience and would like to warn off others. read more

I've been coming here for 4 years now and I absolutely love it! I have never waited to get my eyebrows done and they are super quick and efficient. The shape is always perfect and they never take too much/too little off! read more

UPDATE: It's been about 2 weeks since I was here and my eyebrows are growing in strange. Almost like ingrown hairs. I will likely try somewhere else next time. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Had a great experience here! The wait on weekends can get long, so definitely plan for that or try to come on a weekday. The threading itself was quick and painless. I asked for just a cleanup and that I like to keep my eyebrows thick, and she did a great job. They do accept card, and perhaps that's why the price has gone up a bit (currently $12), but that's on par with other salons in the area. read more

Affordable (only $10 for eyebrows! Tip if you can, though), convenient (right by the T stop in Central Square), and high-quality! Nitu is really diligent and makes my eyebrows look beautiful. She also takes credit cards which is super convenient! I won't get my eyebrows done anywhere else. read more

Ten dollar brows - love it! Mine came out great for the price. Quick, seen immediately on a walk in, and she threaded and trimmed. But I wanted to mention that since previous reviews they have gotten SQUARE. So they accept cards now. read more

I've been here fairly regularly since moving to Cambridge in August 2018, since it's the threading place closest to me. The quality has always been fine - nothing bad, but nothing exceptional either (though to be fair, I've only ever needed eyebrow cleaning). The problem for me is how long it takes - easily 25-30 mins, just for eyebrow cleaning! There have been a couple of times when I arrived just after someone else, and waiting is fine - but the wait is always around 20-30 mins (plus 25-30 more for my own service), which is too much for me. I've begun going elsewhere and though it's further, it's worth it to avoid losing anywhere from 30-60 mins/threading. read more

Painless, appropriately priced, and never have to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. I've been getting my brows done here for a little over a year and have had a great experience with all the technicians! read more

A truly magical place! I had my eyebrows threaded here and was very happy with the results! I called the beautician before doing a walk in appointment and was told weekday afternoons are the best time to come if I do not want to wait. I decided to come on a weekday afternoon and was able to have my eyebrows threaded immediately. The beautician is friendly, has a warm smile and is talented in shaping eyebrows. She took her time threading my eyebrows. I was done in less than ten minutes. I received a lot of compliments on my eyebrows. I will definitely come back here. :-) read more

Nitu or whoever was doing eyebrow today 2/9/19 should not be in service. Though I cannot say in 2019 I was never profile bc of the color of my skin, but it's a constant reminder that I need to have tough skin...I was profiled and dismiss for over 1h. I intentionally allowed her to keep servicing everybody (was the only non caucasian & choosing to stay standing bc my butt hurt from sittin bn for 4hrs getting my hair done less than 30mn before) that came, so when I had enough & said I been here way before, she had the nerve to tell me some chick was before (she was sitting & I wasn't). I didn't get my eyebrow done bc this place dont deserve my hard earn $. She better hope that she never needs CPR or last saving measures, as I can choose to be selective too. read more

this place is unassuming and i actually thought i was in the wrong location, because it's in the back of an african salon. but the price is cheaper than what i'm used to paying at boston threading ($14--they're great, but far from where i live and work); it's $10. Nitu (spelling?) does a great job and it was the least painful threading experience i've had in a while. my brows came out great! and i'm EXTREMELY particular about who does my brows, so that is saying a lot. i came in around noon today (monday) and there was no one in there--also a MAJOR plus. highly recommend this joint. read more

For those haven't tried threading - try it! It's a great way to shape eyebrows, and if you're getting it done by a professional, it's almost painless. Nitu does a great job. She's got a steady hand and a good eye for shape. She's also really hygienic - she wears a mask, which isn't common among professional threaders but probably should be. The threading is virtually painless and leaves the skin incredibly smooth (much better than plucking). She rents a single chair in a hair salon and seems to do pretty brisk business, but it'll take her about 10 minutes to do a single person's eyebrows to perfection. I've never made an appointment, I always just walk in. Sometimes I've had to wait 15 minutes, but never more. The upper lip and eyebrows are $16, while eyebrows alone are $10. That's twice what I pay in NY, but still really good. I go once every three weeks or so, and have almost no issues with that timeframe. I highly recommend this place. It's also right next door to the T, so really easy to get to. read more

I am so lucky to have this expert and affordable eyebrow threader so close to home! An eyebrow threading is $10 (and I believe $5 extra for lip? She manages to make the experience nearly painless, never takes off too much, and shapes any brows perfectly. I once came in when she was giving a man his first threading and she did an amazing job (his girlfriend was pleased...) My roommate and I have completely different brow types and we both swear by Magic Threading Place! read more

This place is a hidden gem for threading fans in the area. I discovered it through yelp and am so happy to have found a solid, cheap ($10 for brows!) place to get my brows done in the area. The actual store is in the corner inside of a of hair salon, making it highly confusing to find. I walked back and forth for a bit until I saw the sign. After entering the hair salon just sit in the front corner with the chairs and the lady just let me know when she was ready for me. The whole process was quick and pain free. I have a substantial amount of acne around my brows and had zero threading induced acne problems after I came here. Just a set of clean and well shaped eyebrows! read more

It's no New York threading shop but it gets the job done. Eyebrow threading is $10 which kills me since I can get them done in NY for $5 but 10 is decent for Boston, especially with a convenient location of Central Square. I'm always scared to try a new eyebrow place but the woman was conservative and cleaned up my eyebrows pretty well. The place is not very busy but there is only was only one worker and I definitely felt her start rushing when another customer walked in so I would try to come in during an off time of day. On the bright side, this was the most pain free threading experience I've ever had! CASH ONLY read more

This place is MAGICAL (no pun intended)! Conveniently located just a ~minute walk down Prospect Street from the Central stop on the Red Line (right off of Mass Ave), the price is right ($10) and the job is well done! I've been consistently getting my eyebrows threaded here for over a year and they do the best, most painless job out of all the places I've been to. I've had my brows threaded by a bunch of different women who work here and have found them all pleasant and consistent. They take credit cards via Square and you can tip on your card! Magic Threading Place is a win! Look no further! read more

Solid place. My brows always look fantastic, and the price is one of the cheapest you'll find in Boston I think.

No frills but great service and very attentive to your needs / requests. Thank you for a great service in a long time.

This was my first time getting threading and I was so pleased with the results. The last time I got my eyebrows waxed the place I went to totally butchered them. They were uneven and without an arch and I was mortified. I decided to come here due to other reviews. I'll be honest, anything would be an improvement over what my eyebrows looked like before. However the threading that was done was such a drastic improvement, that I will definitely be a regular. Waxing usually gave me red bumps for days. I've not had that problem with threading. Also it didn't hurt at all. And most of all my eyebrows actually look good. Note: from the outside it may look like you're going into a hair salon. It's a shared space. Just look to your left and you will see the threading chair. It was only $10 for eyebrows. So cheap! read more

First time getting threading done in Boston/Cambridge, and Nabina did a flawless job. Sure it's more expensive than NYC, but it's not overpriced and she really took her time making sure it was perfect. Will definitely come back here for my next appt. read more

Very good price ($18) for eyebrows and lip and very quick but still meticulous service

I've been getting my eyebrows arched here for a few years now. They consistently do a great job. I tend to go on Saturdays now when Sangreeta (sp?) is there. She does great work! read more

Perfect every time! I am very picky about who I allow to do my eyebrows as I have had bad experience in the past but Neetu has done an amazing job every time! I barely feel the pain and she has NEVER peeled my skin (as others have in the past due to the skin getting caught in the thread). Nitu is patient and quick. (FYI: this place is cash only. $10 for eyebrows). Highly recommend her. read more

Nitu is great with the thread. Not too painful, and she really takes her time. That said, if there's someone in front of you, you might have to wait a while. $15 for upper lip and eyebrows - pretty good for Boston! I tried another place in the Back Bay, and that was a disaster (came back with broken skin and break-outs). Not so with this place! This is now my regular threading salon. Btw, it is CASH ONLY! So go to the ATM ahead of time. read more

Loved the job she did with my eyebrows and pretty reasonable going by Boston standards ($10 for eyebrows)

Consistently good. I've had trouble finding that at other area threading salons, but this one-woman business is the one I have come to trust with my face. The owner is gentle with the thread, so there's hardly any pain. She also takes her time to sculpt my eyebrows exactly how I like them. And the price: very nice. Eyebrows and upper lip cost $15. read more

Nitu is great with the thread, probably one of the best in the cambridge/boston area. It's on the pricey side and she only accepts cash, which is why I'm not giving it 5 stars. read more

Nitu is clean and professional. I arrived at noon, and she was not the when it says online she should be. I called her, and she said she would be 15 mins. She showed up 25 mins later and I was annoyed. But once she started threading she did a good job and it was painless. I will come back, but I'll call ahead of time. read more

Hidden Gem threading place. Wow $10 for eyebrow threading is a great deal. It's in a salon. Nitu does an awesome job. I'm very picky with who touches my eyebrows. She did not peel my skin. Threading was painless. She transformed my eyebrows like art. The process was quick. A lot of people swear by this place. This place only accepts cash. Highly recommend. read more

Found this place thanks to Yelp! $10 for brows is a great deal, it's the least painful place I've been to before. You can tell the girls know what they're doing. Cash only which is fine since the prices are so reasonable. I've never had to wait before but I try to go at offpeak hours. My only worry is sometimes they take off more than I want, I prefer fuller brows and sometimes they end up a little thinner than I'd like. Other than that, quick service, it's not fancy but you get what you pay for and if all you want is a quick and cheap place that does a good job, I'd recommend here! read more

5 Stars for Nitu (the owner). She is meticulous, gentle and very very good so that your eyebrows look amazing after she is done. Unfortunately, she only works 2 days now at this location as she has expanded her business. $10 for eyebrows is also a great deal for the area. I would NOT recommend the other threader (Sanjana?). Tried her once and found that she is unable to shape eyebrows and only removes a few extraneous hairs. My eyebrows were choppy and uneven and when I pointed out the issue, she was not able to fix it and only made it worse. She also seemed rushed even though I was her only customer. So, I went to see Nitu and she was able to fix my eyebrows. read more

I went here wanting to get my eyebrows threaded and they did me proud! It was my first time ever having done anything like that, and the girl who works here was very patient and completely took care of me! It was painless and quick! I'll be going back when they grow back! read more

Perfect threading job in 5 minutes! I decided to stop in on my way home yesterday and I am very pleased. And it is only $10! Highly recommend! read more

This place delivers really good service, although I feel it's slightly on the high side in terms of the price. The woman who does the threading, shapes brows perfectly. I've been to umpteenth number of salons & the job is done best here. read more

Very fast and cash only. A little on the pricy side, but I was more than happy with the result - the best my eyebrows have looked in years! Nitu was very polite and hygienic (she wears a face mask). Will definitely be back. read more
